There's tiles and fences and plant pots blowing everywhere! We went to the gym and it was a bit windy - then we came out and everything was demolished! Fortunately there's not too much damage to our building - we'll be alright since we're in a church! He's looking after us!

Be careful you girls with that bad weather!

Our 2nd car blew up (literally, smoke pouring out of hood and everything) whilst husband was driving it on Tuesday and our mazda is in the shop today getting new tires and other stuff taken care off. DH is very sick this week with strep throat and because we're car pooling with 1 car it's looking grim for me to get to the gym tomorrow. He's not up for it that's for sure. I might and this is a big might because it's bloody grim and cold here this week, go for a run down the road tomorrow to make up for lack of gym. We will see.

I'm also pondering my workout plan. Currently I run 3 x a week doing 2.5 - 3 miles each day. I usually do 30 mins on the elliptical straight after the treadmill once a week. I've lapsed on the strength training because I got so bored with my circuit routine. I'm seeing my supervisor on the 25th for a body fat check/measurement/update session so I'm going to ask him for a new plan. Thing is, I have to decide what.

Bleah.

I'm very wind swept. I got up at 6 to put about 10 bin bags in other peoples bins and got soaked. I was half asleep and forgot to put a jacket on.

Then there was a power cut and the computer wouldn't turn back on seems ok now though.

Part of our medical school is closed cos a tree smashed into it - a treee surgeon is here now and I guess a glazier will be coming. 'citing! NOt so nice there appears to be some trouble on the road near me - cannot see cos a house in the way but it looks like a traffic accident or perhaps a treee is down. Police around.

I'm feeling grumpy. I want to go home and investigate my vegetables (a new box should have arrived today), but instead I have to go to my secretary's leaving do at an expensive (for me) restaurant that doesn't have any menus online (or outside it) for me to check in advance whether it even does anything I fancy eating. I don't want to drink, I don't want to pay that much to eat, I don't get on with her that well anyway, and I just want to go home. I'm life and soul of the party today...

I'm just glad it's nearly the weekend, although I'm not fancy running a half marathon if the weather stays like this

I'm really really annoyed. Even though I'm in my 30s I've just been asked in M&S if I'm over 21! They sent for a second opinion! I nearly died of embarrassment won't be going back there soon.
