Good Morning All

Well, Cinco de Mayo was great. I went to a new restaurant that opened up just around the corner from work and boy was it great. I had a huge marguerita, yum. I did go lightly on the food. I had 2 grilled chicken tacos with sauce on the side. I went in with a plan and I stuck to it and also my co-workers knowing that I am watching what I eat. Thanks to all that asked about my night. Anywho.....

Miss Jacqui - I know how you feel. I use to be like you with having everything perfect. From the time you get up, to the time you go to sleep. A few months back I just said to myself it's not worth me putting myself through all this stress while others are just going with the flow. I now dust myself off again and restart. I know it's hard when you have a plan and things just don't as well as you had planned them to be. Just take it one moment at a time .

As for the rest of you all....... You all get started very early with your posting. You all are doing great. My WI is manana (tomorrow). I'll check back then . Have a great day. I'm sending to you all.

I'm with you Cake. I've been MIA, but I'm here and eating and exercising OP. I weigh-in at WW tonight and I should hit my 20#/10% mark since starting there. I began there about 10 pounds into my weight loss, so I'm excited to hit that mark. I went to a family reunion there and LOTS of family commented on my weight loss in such wonderful and encouraging ways. It was the boost I needed to stay on track and buckle down for May! Hope all is going well with everyone. I'll try to catch up on reading the posts sometime soon.

Hi girls!

I'm back! Whew! We had an exhausting couple of days at Disney at the end of April. Walking, speed walking, dodging strollers, more walking! I don't know what it would have been if I had been wearing a pedometer, a LOT!!!

Anyway, I'm checking in for May.
My goals this month are two: 1) lose the vacation weight (I was a bad, bad girl but honestly, wouldn't anyone need a few beverages after doing Disney? ) and 2) lose 3 additional pounds. It is pre-TOM right now so I can't really judge how much weight that is overall but-as ever-the ticker never moves in the wrong direction.

So, I just came home from my biennial physical with my doctor. She walked into the room and said, "Wow! You look great!" I was so happy. All my numbers look super, my blood pressure is super low (100/60), my water intake is great, she is happy with my exercise routine, and all is well. It just helps to have affirmation from a professional that the choices I have made and the work that I have done is working!!!

I'll be back later for personals. Happy to be with you for another month!

good morning again girlsssssssss , lol

Hope everyone woke up to a good day. Things went well yesterday except I probably could of gotten in more water so I will work on that today. Real happy to be here, keep up the awesome work

oh, canadianangel....almost forgot. When I was laid up I did arm exercises, raising my arms and just doing many various arm exercises. It made me feel better, I felt like at least I was doing something and it was great for my upper bod : ). A belated Happy Birthday to your son!

MrsHomeStretch Happy B irthday to your DH. Just curious, are you a morning person or breakfast person? No need to apologize , I think it is absolutely super that you posted I think you had a great plan in place with a light healthy dinner and hope the night went well for you, if not........today is a new day! Congratulations on your workouts and on your mindset, for getting right back to it! wtg! : ).

Without thinking I had some butternut squash! I know , I know lol. It wasn't on the plan (dinn. menu), had it as a snack in evening. WOke up this morning and first thing thought "what the ****? I'm not supposed to have that type of squash" I didn't have as much water as the day before so I will make sure to have plenty today and also no slipups, lol . I h ope you slept well last night and caught up with some rest. Have an awesome day my lady , let's hang tough and keep on truckin' Onto a new day!

Jacqui I agree with you! Yesterday is history now, foget it and just go onto your new day. wtg on the plan of just starting yournew day and do the things on your agenda and hopefully that will pull you out of the funk today. I hate when things are looming over my head like that too and I have to tell you that I typically wont rest or settle down until I sort it out, one way or another! With that being said ,and seeing as Sat. is bugging you about the st. training, it may be a good idea to figure out what your going to do. Skip that day, give yourself permission? or maybe push it off until sun? It's up to you but once it's resolved, I think it will help. Jacqui, your doing awesome! you really are You had TOM and still doing all that! HOpe your having a good day and kick some h iney in the gym!

Good morning girls!
I was writing a post last night and lost it all when the storm came

Yesterday my total was 1506 calories. Even after eating at Ruby Tuesdays! We split an entree, and one trip to the salad bar 3 ways! I hope you chicks don't mind me posting my calorie intake, because it seems to be working for me. If I know I have to come "report", I find it so much easier to stay on plan.
I came up empty handed for my cruise shopping. When I actually got to the mall, I just wasn't in the mood to try stuff on.....I think in the back of my mind I thought, I have 2 more weeks to lose weight, so I will hold off.
I called in "not-healed" to my second job today. It has only been 1 week today since my surgery, and I am still not out of my binder. I couldn't do 12 hour shift without my bra! I hope they can get over it. On a brighter note, it is nurses day, and my boss at my regular job is getting us 20 minute chair massages! YAAAAYYYY! (another reason to call in sick to my side job)
ok enough about me......

MsP!!!! YAY for you! I bet you are really proud of yourself, and you should be! It is especially impressive with all the change/stress/obstacles you have encountered lately! Keep up the good work! My goodness you are almost to another new decade! We shall keep our fingers crossed for you! a big Whoosh Glad you're back!
Cake- good to hear you've been OP, I am sticking to it too! How is your running coming. It looks like you have signed up for some more 5ks! OMG, I still think you are but I am glad you have found something that you like! It makes all the difference. this is probably TMI, but used to have a very large bust, and I had them reduced. One of the comments my DH said was "now you can run instead of just walk" I told him, "the only time I think you would see me run was if a crazy man with a gun was after me, and I think I would still try to turn and negotiate with him" I will be POP today if you will!

Hi UROCKMOM! Welcome home! Disney sounds like you had fun! YAY for the good health report! Keep it up!

SuzyQ- you must have a will of Iron, I can't stay on plan at the mexican rest. I lose it with the chips/salsa! Congrats girl, that is a big accomplishment in my book!

CrazyMamaof4- I am drinking water right now, thanks to your reminder! Let us know how your Derm.appt goes, we will keep you in our prayers.

Hi Fablyne, good luck in May! keep us posted!

JaquiD- Let me just start by saying we are soooo here for you. Yesterday was not stellar, but It wasn't horrendous either! I hope by the time you read this you will be Funk-free again. We all have days like that, but you did the right thing by posting about it. Don't beat yourself up over it anymore. We will not let you treat our friend like that!!!!! So I am sending you good vibees, willpower, and hugs You can do this! Today is just today!

FSA- your morning glories sound beautiful! We have some that grow wild, on a fence next to my husband's shop. OMG, I just love it when they bloom! I will bet yours are just gorgeous! Hope you have a great day today! talk to ya later!

Ok girls, I gotta run, Time got away from me while I was gabbing! I hope everyone has a great day, let's be good to ourselves!

You are doing great!! If we weren't hard on ourselves we would never have made it as far as we have. Today is a new day, just find the positive in it and make yourself smile even when you don't want to. Keep the faith and keep that chin up.

Welcome back Lynne and Urock! I have added you to the list! Great to have you back!

Ang, congrats on the loss! I know it must be a relief to see the scale still moving in your favor, despite your injury!

Cake and Ms_P, so good to see you girls! Hope your schedules lighten up soon!

Lewis, CMof4, FSA, SuzyQ, Delphi, thank you so much for your encouraging words! You are all so sweet! So, I ate a good breakfast, I've had 64 oz of water so far, I had a nice big salad for lunch, I've done my 30-minute walk and my strength training for today. Fortunately, I do know what I have to do. Unfortunately, I just can't seem to get my feelings in line with my thoughts. But what's the saying? Fake it till you make it? Luckily, I'm very determined and I refuse to mess up another day by not being POP, no matter how I feel! I suspect TOM is messing with my emotions too, so I'll just have to stick to thinking logically until I come out of this funk! Thank you girls!

Sigh...so this morning didn't go as well as I would have hoped. When I woke up my car had a flat, not that big of a deal, but for some reason the wheel would not come OFF the car! This for some reason got me completely off track of my eating/workout schedule. Then my husband convinced me to go to Denny's for breakfast, and even though I ate moderately I added it up and it was 950 calories!

The good news is that I feel so bloated and full from the food that I doubt I will eat until dinner time, and that is just going to be a salad and some extra veggies, not to exceed 350 calories so that I'll stay at 1300 for the day. And tonight the gym is going to be my new home, lol.

Someone in the restroom said they could really tell I was losing weight, that was good. But I still feel like the last couple of days have sucked. Oh well, time to get back on track!

Hello girls
I seem to have some problems moving thru this website. I wasn't able to get on and check in last night.
FullSteamAhead I am interest in the couch to 5k. I havent heard of it. What is it exactly?

Well we had our weigh in and things are going good. I can't wait to be able to include my ticker on here when I post so that you all can see. I do have mine on our blog. Breawna is grounded from the internet except on the weekends until the end of school so she hasn't gotten hers set up yet. Anyhow, we have been doing our exercise on a regular basis and we are so happy with ourselves about that. It's a positive step.

Our weigh in was good, and will keep us motivated...

Jodi- WI 195 - 3 lbs lost

Breawna- WI 250 - 4 lbs lost

We are well on our way for our May challenge goals!!!
