Up 4 yesterday and afraid to step on the scale today. I'm gonna try to fast today. Really binged last night and am very disappointed in myself. Very upset that husband keeps bringing garbage food into the house. WHY? Because HE can stop at just one, and then the remainder sits there... and sits there... until I cave in and demolish the whole thing. This sends me on a rampage through kitchen until every last morsel of junk has been consummed. Damn Will I ever get control of this?
It started with the bikini shot from the rear... ugh. I've been spiraling toward oblivion since that. Someone kick me into next week please, maybe even next month... I need to get through this. I've been here before and it's so maddening that I'm here again.
Back on track this week! I think the sodium from eating out is what did me in. I think I ate pretty good and tried to stay on plan for the most part. Hoping for a big loss next week.
Feeling better about things today - started a new notebook for my food journal, my calories yeterday were spot-on, and I did an hour of Zumba last night.
anagram, that number will be right back down next week!
staci, flush out the sodium with lots of water - you'll be fine!
gwen, so sorry you're having a tough time. can your dh hide the food if he insists on having it, or even keep it in his car?
A couple of bad days in the past couple of weeks but I'm mainly on track. Started tracking everything again and still getting in my exercise. I'm going to be travelling this week, so will have to be extra vigilant.
Gwen, we've all been there, too many times to count. Never makes us feel good but it really is an addiction. Nevertheless, we CAN conquer it. Onward is the only way.
Staci, yay for being on track!
Natamars, Zumba is fun! And I bet it's even more fun once you get over the "two left feet" style that I've been rockin'.
Anagram, guests and eating out may not be excuses, but they sure can be challenges. You'll be back in business this week.
My scale read 195 this morning, but I know how fickle it's been - tomorrow may be 198. I'm just keeping up my end of the bargain and staying on plan... Eventually it will catch up!

3/29/11 195 (194 on 4/1)
4/5/11 195 (all I can say is I must be packing on a LOT of muscle!)
I have been switching up my work outs and hope to push that number down under 190 by May 1st. We'll see! I'd love any suggestions on getting the weight to start comming off without bouncing around. Shouldn't there be 1-2 lbs lost weekly instead of an "average"?
Very happy to be under 135 this week. Tons of challenges in the next 4 days, though. Thinking of doing the 4-day belly fat cure intro next Tuesday-Friday..got the book from the library.
Gwen, what plan are you following? I calorie-count and based on my BMR, exercise level, and intake I should be losing 1.5/week, but it often doesn't work out that way. Hormones, water weight, bathroom issues can easily throw things off.
So, yeah, then a less careful week, a couple of salty snacks on the weekend and 2 of the 2.6 have returned. This week: back to counting everything and staying OP!

Gwen, our bodies just don't work that way -- you might lose 1 pound one week and 3 the next and that's just the way we are. As long as we're losing, that's good, right?
Natamars, congrats on being under 135 -- fantastic!
Anagram, that's right -- you're still in Onederland, didn't bounce out so that's progress.
