I like Cheerokee they have one with extra booty room. I am high waisted and these don't hit at the muffin top inducing spot! Look for the ones that look like the crotch is low with the elastic waist. I can only wear one color except for holidays. I am trying to find something cute since I am working the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas night. Wonder if I can find leopard print?
The frustrating part of the weight is that I am hovering on that 169. Tons better then when I started but I seem to be gaining and losing the same pound for the past 3 weeks. So the motivation is slipping. But when I step on the scale and see the next loss, I am hoping for a renewal of inspiration! accepted and returned [/QUOTE]
Lori---I got new Medium scrubs today I think I did end up going for Cherokees. I checked out some Landau's but they were tight across my chest! Sooo, needless to say, I didn't get those ha ha!
As far as gaining/losing the same pound.....have you been 100% OP?? I know you've had a lot going on in your life, so maybe's it's just stress related?? Who knows....it'll feel fabulous once you're able to bust that mark, though. I'm rooting for you!!!!!
Ok, so I went shopping today and got size 14 jeans from GAP and they were totally roomy!!!!! 12's fit but are super tight across the booty and I couldn't wear them out yet....BUT that day IS coming!!! I was so excited b/c GAP has always fit a lot smaller/tighter on me compared to every other brand out there. SO, the fact that 14's were roomy gave me such a thrill! Just had to share. Gotta love those NSV's!!!
Okay, so I have to confess I've been off plan for about a week and a half. Just like with every other diet, I've been stuck at 169 (I feel for you shopgirl). Today I'm starting out OP again and will have to drop three pounds but feel I can do that easily.
I have some size 12 Calvin Kleins and medium Cherokee scrub bottoms if anyone is interested. My weight is all in my stomach and back so I'm still wearing xl in my tops.
MRC called yesterday but didn't leave me a message. I'm due to resign on Tuesday so I'm sure that's what that's about.
I refused to let the last twenty pounds get to me so it looks like I'll be resigning. Hopefully this will re-motivate me.
I'm still typing from my son's computer when I can sneak it away from him but I'll try to stay in touch better.
Good luck, my friends.

Hello all my great friends!!! I have been reading when I find time but have been getting ready for my trip this week, so it left me very little time to post. I did go WI yesterday, and 1/2 pound just wants to creep back up. But I "asked" to be measured and lost more inches, now I'm at 37 3/4 inches lost...so I can take the 1/2 pound gain. Wish Ketosis was explained to us at our center. Not sure how important it is to track?
I am leaving for my VA trip with my sister Thursday. This is our first trip together without our husbands, so we are so excited. We both hate to fly though, so that will be fun!!! I plan to enjoy and not worry about doing my HNS's....I want to have fun....but I won't pig out, and I will watch what I eat..but if I hear a glass of wine calling my name...I'm going for it!!!! (maybe 2 or 3..lol) I will be back Monday evening, so hope to check in and post a little. Wish me luck and pray the geese stay away from the engines and the pilots stay off their laptops!!! If you see any of them posting here on 3FC's, tell them to get the sam **** off and get back to flying the plane!!!!!
FL, hope you have a great trip! It sounds like you have a fairly good plan for handling things over the weekend. We are on this journey to learn how to enjoy our lives fully, so consider the weekend practice. Have a great weekend and enjoy the time spent with loved ones.

Shopgirl, what an awesome nsv! It's always great to be in smaller sizes, but when you know they were smaller than most others the same size, makes that nsv even sweeter!
FL, have a great time and enjoy yourself!! Can't wait to hear how it goes!
shopgirl, ya gotta love those NSV's!! We often overlook those little things. I am now wanting to wear skirts/boots (never thought I'd be able to get a pair over my big fat calves) but I realized yesterday I HATED to wear pantyhose because of my the feeling you get when your legs rub together. Well yesterday I realize that that feeling is gone and that made me smile. Little moments like that are so priceless.
Noahsmama, you made me smile talking about the pantyhose. I'm sure you could find a pair of leopard print boots. Just be careful that you know who doesn't come and try to take them away.
Speaking of, Lorie, I can make you a pair of leopard print scrubs. That would be just too funny. I had to find a costume for a party this Saturday, so even though I can wear a 12/14, a lot of costumes just wouldn't work for me. I will be thinking of you while I'm wearing it Saturday night. Yes, the coat is leopard print. Maybe thinking of all you ladies here will help me stay away from those things I shouldn't eat.
We are getting dumped on here with snow! I was supposed to go to the center for a class taught by a therapist from Boulder but they cancelled it due to the snow. BUMMED! But, as long as I get to the next one! Want to keep up this motivation!
Going to my first WI tonight for this new adventure with MRC. Not really sure what to expect. I ate like I was OP rather than in pre-conditioning. I'm sure that'll get me scolded...but sorry I can't bring myself to eat a starch and a sugar at every dang meal. UGH. They'll get over it...I'm paying them after all. BUT, I'm super excited to pick up my HNS and other Sups. I'm gonna be taking flax, MSM, MRC-6 and Corti-trim. As soon as everything runs out, I'm buying it elsewhere...but I want the bottles around so I can carry them in and compare. I know you all have done that and I have too...but I want to do it again. Makes me feel like I know what I'm doing if I actually go do it myself.
Can't wait to get on a roll here. I'm sure I lost something just based on cutting the sodium intake and upping the water intake. Plus, I ate like an insane person the week before I went in last week, so that didn't help either I'm sure. I'll let you all know how it goes.
My little guy has been sick this week. We went to the Dr on Monday and the hospital last night (temp was 105.1 - scary!!). They of course said...he's fine and sent me home with tylenol. *eye roll* God bless all you nurses, but I met one who treated me like an idiot and I didn't appreciate her. Must have been hungry Anyway...he's much better today. Probably has the flu (yes, H1N1) and also has an ear infection...poor guy. So thats been my deal this week.

Hello FL... I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip and CONGRATULATIONS on your inches lost, that is fabulous!! Keep up the great work and have a good time, can't wait to hear about it when you return :0)
Hvnlymzic - hope the little guy gets to feeling better very soon... I agree with Lori, making others feel like an idoit is not in a nurse's or any medical person for that matters job description and has no place in their treatment of you... sorry to hear this but just remember, they can think and say whatever they want but you are their for your baby, not their judgement and you always have to put that baby 1st so the way I see it is she can kiss your hiney :0). Best wishes.

Yeah! I was so thrilled when I could buy something from the boutiquey type stores. I was never able to before. Didn't carry my size! And you know when the sizes run small! I have not been OP these past few days. Not enough sleep, so real coffee past my lips. With creamer, And last night I had a small piece of cake one of the girls brought in. I got the smallest one and it took me ages to eat it. It was so good but when I went back into the breakroom, I wanted more. So I had an hns and stayed clear of that room until the urge was gone. Now off for 6 nights and plan to sleep. Hope to drop any water weight that I carry after working.

Great job getting back on the bandwagon. That last 20 pounds is doomed to die! you will beat it out of you. And are you no longer wearing the med scrub pants? Great! I am opposite of you. My weight is more in the butt and thighs. Hoping to not lose more in my chest. The girls looking a little flattened and droopy lately. Maybe they need more sleep too? I was missing my fellow vampire. Just worked 6 12 hour nights in a row. Glad you are still with us and post when you can.

Have fun on your weekend. I am glad you and your sister can get together without the guys! And if you hear the wine calling my name or those darn pilots' names, it is your civic duty to drink up!

Sorry your little guy is sick. And shame on that nurse who made you feel like an idiot. Not part of the job description.
Hope he is better soon and excited for you to start your new MRC adventure!
FL,
Have a wonderful time. Don't worry about flying, it is FUN. I changed my pic. just for you of me and my hubby. We took a flight last weekend to check out the fall foliage. We know many Commercial Airline Pilots, none of which are as stupid as the laptop boys! They are very careful and know what they are doing. These two guys were just stupid and have already had their licenses taken away. The FAA has very strict guidelines and mean business when rules are broken. Hmm, have lots of trouble getting my new pic. to take. I'll keep working on it.
If you click on my name 'rip' next to my profile pic. you will get the pic. I am talking about. But you probably already know this. I am still trying to figure this all out!
Started MRC 5/9/09
