i intend to use the windsor pilates which are good for your abs. i have the dvd and vhs series from a few years ago but i lack the motivation after i get home from work each evening to do anything but sit on my computer or in front of the tv. right now my muscles are sore from hard core scrubbing my shower saturday. i figure that's gotta be worth something since my muscles are still whining a little bit. lol. i thought abt that cortitrim stuff too but i can't do their prices either. my bra's are getting loose and starting to annoy me cuz that's the one thing i didn't care if i didn't lose ya know. *shrug*

you know, talapia's the only kind of fish i saw in the freezer section that didn't have bunches of flavors and butter or breading on it already. i think i'll ask if i can use it on my beige menu too that way it's "authorized." i'm also not using the white tuna. it tastes awful and has more fat in it anyways not to mention it's nearly twice the cost as well. my friend lost 50 lbs in 3 months doing this and she used the normal tuna i discovered because she didn't know there was such a thing as white tuna! *she's sweet and dingy!*

i hope they don't argue with you on the talapia if they've told you that you can have it. let us know how that goes. I don't want them to void my guarantee cuz i only lost 2 lbs last week so i might need it if this doesn't kick into gear. my luck missing dinner last night already breaks the agreement. :(

The counselor that I met with said that if you are going to split proteins at a meal, some group 1 and some group 3, you have to do it equally. Like for instance...I am on the 6 oz protein menu. So according to her I can have 3 oz. of group three and 3 oz. cottage cheese, but not 2 oz. of group three and 4 oz. cottage cheese.

Have any of you heard this before?

i asked abt this last week and posted it in the noob thread. they told me you have to split the serving in half yes. so for instance 1 serving on group 1 of cheese is 3 oz - half that is 1.5 oz and then you half group 3 which is 3 oz of chicken or whatever. so you technically are only eating 5.5 oz of protein but it's still a full serving. same with the eggs. you get 2 for a full serving so 1/2 is 1 and 1/2 of group 3 is 3 oz still. that comes in VERY handy for getting cheese on my salads *love it on salads* at lunch but you can still only have cheese once a day so if you eat it for breakfast you can't use it for the split at lunch etc. i think they just don't want to confuse people with the math honestly because half is an easy split but 2/3-1/3 wld be a little harder - ie 4 oz chicken 1 oz cheese is easy because those servings sizes are easily split into thirds but you can't split 2 eggs three ways really.

Ok, so I have not only fallen off the wagon but it is now is now on the other side of the country!! I am going back in tomorrow and getting Tanita'd and measured; as well as re-signing for however long I can! I have no idea how much I've gained back, but I know I'm miserable!

Stress has been my downfall - and comfort food hasn't really made me all that comfortable... funny how that happens...

It's good to be back & see so many of the regulars on here from when I first started!

Happy new year to everyone! (I know it's a little late, but I wasn't here a few weeks ago...)

Good job! That is awesome!

I'm commiting as of today to refocus myself! Toooo many BLT's and meals out that are not completely on plan. I think part of my problem was that I hit my original goal weight and I have a mental block on losing anymore! So as of today I'm getting back on track and looking forward to get these last few pounds off. Also I need to pick the exercise up!

Well now that I've said it to someone other than myself I guess I have to!

Have a great day ladies!

I got to sign the 50lb. board today! I felt a little like I cheated though. I had to exercise before my WI today when I normally do it after. I felt like it probably made me weigh lighter than I should have. Oh well, I guess I'll take it anyway! Hopefully it won't mess up my next weigh in :)

Great job!!! I find that I'm actually a few pounds heavier after a workout, so you should be fine for next wi.

the last time I was in a regular store! It will be nice not to have to buy all my clothes from Lane Bryant (although I do think they have nice clothes). Its just so limited! How many months do you think it took for you to get from 24 down to a 12? I love to see you making such amazing progress because you totally give me hope!

It has been so long, I honestly don't remember. It did seem a little slow in the beginning and then really picked up. It seemed like I was losing a size a month and I "fell" out of the plus sizes pretty fast.

Nice job Bonnie!!! You are doing really good. Don't worry about them voiding your contract. If you are losing consistently, you will be their super star. They just don't want people constantly eating off plan and saying - hey this doesn't work, I want my money back. We all know, when you follow the plan correctly, it works.

I have not heard of this. I mix my proteins on left over day. I think they want to make sure when you are mixing that you don't use too much cheese since it's double the actual weight. ie - don't use ground bison and add enough cheese to bring you to the full ounces 4/6oz.

Hi Amy!! Welcome back - glad to see you. It is much easier the 2nd time for me because I'm not fighting it. Just do what they tell you and the weight will drop fast.

Rocki - on that note :o only you have the power to make the plan work. You know what to do and I have complete confidence that you can follow through.

I had something interesting happen today. I bounced up 3 lbs on my scale this morning. I made a juicy bison burger with sauteed mushrooms and garlic toast last night. I probably just overdosed on the Montreal steak seasoning - which is allowed. Then I didn't get my full amount of my monster water intake and only got 4 hours sleep last night. Luckily I got the manager today. My attitude was - it sucks this happened on wi day, but I'm not worried - I'm doing everything right and it's only temporary. She agreed and liked the attitude. Besides, that will make Saturdays wi awesome! I think where people go wrong is they have a bad wi and then get discouraged and eat something off plan. Slow and steady is winning the race here!

BonnieMcC 01-21-2009 04:43 PM

ShineOn---thats a lot of multi-quoting you did...haha

How do you do that??? I see the button for it, but still can't figure it out!
