Yes, I tried it for the first time and absolutely love it!! I've tried the dieter's tea, senna tea, and all the fiber drinks out the wazoo!!! (pun intended) The only problem I see is taking four a day doesn't make the bottle last too long and gets expensive. I just ordered something from the internet that has similar ingredients that I'm going to try. Only two pills a day, at meals so that will be easier for me to remember, and much cheaper. I'll let you know how those work when I try them. I just googled the main ingredients on the bottle and found several things similar.

I also tried the 5-HTP for the first time as well for sleep. Those work great too, but again, I'm trying something over the internet that's cheaper.

It does add up, doesn't it.

Are you going to the Omaha or Bellevue branch? I go to Bellevue & they always calculate mine. Not that I can remember what all the numbers mean but they always compliment me on my hydration number. They also break down the amount of fat I've lost vs muscle. Just take your strip in and ask them to re-explain.

Yes, I did use it and liked it. But I only used it when I felt I needed it. Remember, we are taking in less food and have less to process now, so it may only be every other day. They also told me to up my flax seed oil (I currently take 2,000 mg with each meal), increase the water and try a fiber fill - which also helps with hunger. Hope that helps! BTW, I'm buying the supplements through the center now - my justification is it's all a tax write off. Our program fees, supplements and HNS can be written off if you itemize - I can't remember the tax code but I remembered hearing something about weight loss and had my accountant look it up. As long as it's not normal food that anyone can eat, but specific thing you need to buy lose weight. A nice little perk for this time of the year. It's just easier for me to keep track of everything if I buy it all through the center. Our center said they would even give us a print off of everything purchased during the year if requested. Just do a double check with your tax preparer to make sure you can deduct.

Hi All!! I just got the best news from my center. Let my preface this first... My center had a "Biggest Loser" contest for the holidays. Who ever lost the most weight, won $100 for first, $50 for second and $25 for third. I went for a class at my center tonight and I was told in front of all my classmates that I won the Biggest Loser contest for the women!!! I won $100 towards anything at my center! I am so excited. I lost 16 pounds for the month of December. I NEVER thought in a million years that I could have won. I am so inspired now, even more so!

Wow ilovekotilab!!! That's amazing! What an incredible accomplishment!! You should be inspired.

Sorry I was gone for so long after just joining but I made a vow to stay off the computer over my xmas holiday. I did lurk all day at work today though.

Ok a few things...

1. our recipe of the week at our center is Cheesburger soup. I made it tonight and OH MY GOSH I feel like it's too good to be true. It's SO good and it's a huge portion!! If it's not posted here somewhere, I'll post it! I also made cheesecake tonight and it's chilling for tomorrow morning.

2. I ordered a george foreman today! Yay! Has anyone cooked fish on theirs?

3. I started the Couch to 5K on sunday! I did Day 2 today! Woo Hoo!

4. Jeanne in Jax...I'm in JAx too!!!!! How exciting!!

Ok that's it for now - it's 10 pm and I cooked all night!

Thanks! I haven't tried the Cheeseburger Soup, but I have printed it off of the recipe blog. I am going to put it on my menu for next week! Thanks for the reminder

hmm I don't know if it's posted here. The one I just found when I searched isn't the same one. They also gave me a recipe for muffins AND for meatloaf. I adore the muffins...but I'm so excited about cheesecake. I hope I'm not disappointed! I did add a little extra cinnamon and vanilla. Yum!

I take 6 flax capsules a day...and USUALLY it works, but I did have to take something else a few weeks ago. Again, not TMI, but I only go about every third day - which worried me at first, but we aren't eating as much...you're right.

Did anyone watch the Biggest Loser last night? Oh my gosh I cry the entire time...it's so inspirational.

I have a question for those that eat the cheesecake.....so I eat an entire 1/4th of the pie? That seems like a lot!! But it says 4 servings....

I watched the Biggest Loser and I was thrilled to be less (even if it was a few pounds) than all the women there...until their first week was over and they were dropping double digits! All of a sudden within an hour...I was no longer the skinniest! I love that show though! I was surprised the older guy lost so much weight..the man collapsed as soon as he got to the ranch!!!

thanks for info---everyone! I think I will try to up my flax, since I already have some and see if that helps. I currently take just one with each meal. I don't really have a problem with not going at all (every few days)...its just (excuse the bad pun) a real pain in the butt! Oh sheesh...sorry about that!

I cook fish on mine almost everyday...no problems. I use the Pam that is made for indoor grills so it doesn't stick as much. I also use the lemon pepper seasoning from Mrs. Dash. Yummy!

Congrats on Day 2...I will be doing that tomorrow!

I watch the Biggest Loser and cry all the time too!! I look at how much and intense they exercise and wonder how they do it!

I like the cheesecake and I eat 1/4 for a serving. I am on the 6 oz protein plans so have to add 2 more oz of protien to get enough. I usually make the turkey sausage in 1 oz patties and have two of those with it. It's very filling to me.
