WoodLily: I don't have time for a long response right now but I love No Cow bars. They're at GNC and Vitamin Shoppe...I love the chocolate fudge brownie. They're non-gmo, vegan, high fiber, gluten free, dairy free, soy free and lactose free.
For those who are near their goals, I personally found that adding a little more fatty protein helped, ie eat a bit of cheese or have steak instead of chicken breast etc. Your body is way more resistant the closer you get to goal, so just expect it to take longer. DON'T try to lower calories even further, it is not in your body's best interests and can cause an even lower metabolism.
If you are REALLY diet fatigued you could try properly phasing off through P2-4 for a 'rest' at a maintenance level, then in a while, once you are stabilized, you could try P1 again to get the remaining pounds off.

I found this very helpful - how to kick start nutritional ketosis when at a plateau lasting longer than two weeks.
life: Unless I'm mistaken and things have changed, the chocolate drink, both the powder and the ready-made have always been unrestricted. Also, yes, Quest chips are unrestricted.
I'm not new but it's been awhile since I posted regularly. Back at it and heading into my second week. Hope to see the boards pick back up but if not, I'm still going to be here!

Heyyyy gurlfriend!!! Long time, no see! I hope you are doing well, fill us old maintainers in if you care to share a bit.
Does anyone have a link to the most recent P1 protocol? Not sure if anything has changed since I was last here. Thanks!
From all I've gathered (mainly through a FB group) the sheet remains the same but many are saying that their coaches are limiting them to 2 cups instead of 4 cups of tomatoes a week if that is the only occassional veggie they eat. They can still have another 2 cups of a different occassional if desired. something to do with the glycemic index...
I don't go to a clinic any more. I am doing the alternative plan but still using what IP products I have left to go along with.

Hi all!
Im new here. Just joined IP less then a week ago. So far I love it and hope I am doing it right. I Am meeting with my coach in a couple of days.
Are you supposed to have 1 restricted food a day?? Or only if you want to? Will you see better results if you do 3 non restricted items?
And I am meeting sweet chili dorados for lunch? That is allowed??
Just want to make sure im doing it right. I love salty and this seems like the perfect diet for me with the dorados and BBQ crisps and salt and vinegar Chips.
All those things can axtuallt be eaten for lunch right?
Hope I am not doing it wrong!
IPGirl: I was always taught that it was 1 restricted and 2 non-restricted per day. You can have any packet you want for any meal so if you want soup for breakfast, the crisps for lunch and an omelet for your snack that's perfectly fine. Keep asking questions, that's how you learn!
