Just found an interesting video clip and news item from CBC:
Re: 'protein spiking' which means using added amino acids instead of real protein in a protein powder and including it in the protein gram count.
I was almost afraid to watch this, in light of my newfound love of Quest...phew- Thank you for posting this Lianna
LOL - that was exactly my reaction. I take it from your reaction, I should watch. My first thought was that I don't need any contradictory info in my head so I won't watch!!!!

Don't watch if you use GNC protein ....otherwise, you're safe!

Thanks. I have used GNC Lean Shake 25. But, what they don't mention in the video is a test result on the RTD vs powder. The macros on the powder are very different than the RTD. I just bought the RTD shakes for my sister-in-law and nephew to make smoothies (rather than using almond milk). They aren't dieting - they were just looking for a healthy, more protein-rich breakfast so I think it is fine for their use. I will be conscious of it in the future though as this is something I would have in maintenance mode in the way my family members are using it.
Destony- can you post the recipe for cappuccino crisps using Quest banana? I actually really enjoy it as a shake but love experimenting with different options
Ro- I was thinking of trying the Quest multi for P1 to do the eqq sandwich you were talking about. I will have to check out the low carb bread company for maintenance- but I am a ways off from that
Attachment 48044 Jenny the cappachino crisp recipe, sorry it took so long

Thanks Destony!
So, I have been experimenting with the multi-purpose powder and making rolls and I have found a winner. I just made one today to have a chicken sandwich and I added some onion powder and garlic powder to the mix and it turned out delicious! I also sprinkled just a little bit of onion powder on top before I baked it. It was so good!

Thanks for sharing! I will incorporate that in when I make it for that same purpose.
