I can't understand why your coach told you that it was unusual to have a headache and that it was probably from not drinking enough water. Sure, once the detox (keto flu) period has ended, and you find yourself with some of these symptoms, sometimes the cause is insufficient hydration. But 90 percent of the time, the culprit is not taking in enough salt.
I was going to say... Put a little salt in water and drink that... It is my life saver because I have felt so bad. I feel soooo much better when I drink that.

Made a yummy protein shake for my breakfast...

Peanut Butter and Blueberry Jam! It was fabulous!

2 scoops of my Protein powder
1 cup ice
1 cup of unsweetened Almond milk
WF Peanut spread
WF Blueberry Jam spread

If I wasn't out of spinach I would have thrown some of that in for good measure

You got that right! I improvised with what I had on hand for lunch today, and I am heading out to the store soon to get some better choices! I had lots of frozen veggies on hand....love those steamer bags....and I had a can of protein powder on hand....it's nasty which is why I had it..lol.....so I could kinda start before I changed my mind. I found this whole forum to be very good. Thanks for the encouragement. Any vegetarians out there? I am looking for a thread.

Thanks again for getting me going everyone.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know you can also warm up some fat free chicken broth and drink that. It's filling but, also has salt that can help. I did it when I started IP in February, especially when I had those initial headaches and my tummy felt e.m.p.t.y.

Yes! So happy you mentioned that Johnsdeere! A different low carb plan that I once did recommended drinking bullion broth every single day for this reason. I forgot all about that!

Hey I have a weird question. Is there any alcohol that we can have other than say gin and tonic? I'm going out for a drink with a friend tonight who I haven't seen in a long time. Don't want to just drink water.

I found it to be helpful...and it felt like I was eatting/drinking something remotely real. Just make sure it is fat free and don't drink it by the gallon. LOL

From my understanding alcohol is not allowed, at least not in P1....

Sheena,
Alcohol isn't allowed on IP. Even though something like vodka doesn't have carbs it does have calories and since IP is low calorie, fat and carbs, it doesn't fit it.
I would just drink water or mio, I've done both when going to wineries with my friends. IMO it isn't worth it.
