Lexi
It is all very slow at the end. I tried hard for a while to get to 140 and was never able to. In my younger days I was 130. But muscle makes a big difference.
Decide how long you really want to keep at the restriction of phase 1. When you get to that point reconsider if you have chosen the right goal for you.
Momto2cs- i remember a few weeks ago you posted about how you work out and also don't eat many carbs. Was it always easy for you to do that or did it take awhile for your body to get used it? I am trying to figure out how I can continue running, etc. and stay OP for the next month. Today was so difficult! I am discouraged I would like to stay on phase 1 for about a month (depending on how quickly I lose a little weight) but also am on a training program for a 10 mile race that is happening late in April. I am wondering if these two goals can coexist.
I have done lots of intense exercise on phase 1. I am usually completely fine after the first week. I do try to keep my fat intake up and was sometimes using mct oil.
Lexi- are you also able to continue working out at the same level when you following phase 1?
I too work out pretty intensely (mostly running; running 6-8 miles three times a week and longer runs on the weekends... so its about 1.5-2hrs of cardio per workout). I want to start doing more weights too (giggly arms! lol).
I can work out pretty hard. I have my bar 15 minutes prior to working out. I can do 3 sets of 20 pushups.... i do lunges and squats holdong a 40lb barbell, or two 20 lb dumbells. I do pretty well, and my legs look pretty awesome My arms also look goos, I worl all body parts, chest, back, arms, shoulders, abs. My abs need allot of work. I am petite so being 116-117 lbs still leaves me with fat on my body especially chest and tummy. For me to lose that I would have to get to 105, which will be super tough. I am goint to aim for 110 frst and then see if I can phase off and lose 5 more on my own.
Sara, Just make sure you eat something before running, sometimes I find running more difficult than weight lifting. I also eat more on cardio days, a hard boiled egg or an extra protein shake

My opinion is no, they cannot coexist. You burn the candle at both ends, according to my coach. It might be better if you just did phase 2 or 3 and trained for it.
At least try for more protein. That might help, and you won't lose as much muscle.
I didn't lose any muscle during my ip time.
Everyone is different. If you are exhausted or feel poorly, even eith extra protein, be it through food or packets, then you need to reevaluate your plan.
Hi Everyone! How's it going?
To be completely honest, I'm struggling to get back on plan big time. I got back from my trip and the cravings just won't go away! I've been sick with a cold the last few days, so just have no energy to prepare anything fresh, and not feeling the veggies! I've had a bit of a pity party the last few days, but I think I'm starting to come back around.
I'm up 4 lbs from my lowest, but I feel like I'm up 15! (I suppose that's a good thing, at least I'm catching it early). I'm going to see my coach today, I told her I need a motivational speech. And then going to make an appt for early next week (normally my WIs are Friday), but I think having an appt in 4 days will keep me accountable.
Lexi (or anyone else who's just starting the reboot) - how are you guys doing? Any tips? I'm thinking I just need to keep myself busy to keep my mind off the cravings.
I had to reboot as well after my brothers wedding. I didnt weigh myself till ths morning and I am back to 116.6. I am only staying on Phase 1 until April 12th and then phasing off. I cant say I have been perfect this week, I had cream cheese and a bite of a chip, I also had hummus last night, soooo needless to say my reboot isnt giong perfect, not 100%
Lexi - I wish I could say all I had was some cream cheese and a bit of a chip! Haha. Congrats on getting back to your weight so quickly!
I was toying with the idea of changing my goal to 115 lbs, but to be completely honest I don't think I can stick with it that long, so gonna try and get to 120 and phase off for the summer. Last time I lost my motivation I continued spending the money on the product but wasn't focused enough, and didn't phase off properly, and it didn't work so well for me, obviously.
I think I mentioned it before, but I've been doing pilates my whole time on P1, and added in some cardio and weights the times I moved onto P3. I'm thinking if I can stick to P1 for a few more weeks and then phase off, but start exercising more than I have been, then hopefully I can just tighten up a bit and start focusing on how I look rather than what the scale tells me.

I just started a reboot also.... Honestly I have been "starting reboots" for a couple months now with no long term success. I keep falling off the wagon on the weekends. This week is the first time I really feel determined to stick with it. I have been OP for almost 4 days now! (well minus a bite of a chip...) It has been tough. I have been going to bed early to stop the cravings and I have been reading and posting quite a bit on this forum (hopefully its not annoying!). It keeps my mind occupied and reading what everyone else is writing helps keep me on track. GOOD LUCK! We can do this!!!
