Hi All...I'm new to this thread and I have a question for the rebooters...I was on IP last summer and lost 40 pounds. I'm back now to lose about 20 more. I re-started phase 1 two weeks ago today. Things are going fine as far as understanding the program and the food. I love this diet...it's tough, but it works. I know I can do this, but I am having the most awful, terrible stomachaches this time around. This is not a hunger pain or cramps, just a constant ache. I am trying to be tough and push through, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Will they stop? I know the 2nd time around with IP can be hard...is this what everyone is talking about? What do you think?

CarCamMom!!! I remember you! I don't post very much but I lurk on occasion. I don't know about the stomach aches. Are you getting your water and lettuce in? I know some people have a sensitivity to soy... What does your coach say?

Hey Everyone! How's everyone doing?
How'd the wedding go Lexi? I can't wait to see pictures!
I got back from my vacation Thursday, and it went fairly well. I managed to follow maintenance for the first half of the week pretty closely, and the last two or three days I indulged a bit more than I probably should have. Since being home I've been having major cravings and finding it difficult to get my head back in the game. I went for my WI on Friday and was up 2.8 lbs, but also haven't done a full P1 day yet... whoops! My coach said to enjoy the weekend and start again on Monday. I'm hoping once I'm back at work and back to my routine it'll be easier to stay OP.
I'm planning to stick to P1/P2 for at least 3 weeks, and hoping to be down to 120 lbs by then and can decide if I want to stick to it for a few more weeks and try and get down to 115 lbs or if I'll be happy at 120. Guess we'll see! Wish me luck that I'll be able to ignore these wicked cravings for the next few days!
Hope everyone elses' reboot is going well!

I had awful stomach aches the first time I was on IP. I ended up going to the doctor and they thought it had to do with my gall bladder. I read up on this forum by searching for posts about gall bladders and found a bunch of posts about "gallsludge". I guess changing to a very low fat diet can cause issues with how your gall bladder works? I switched from using WF salad dressings to using olive oil and apple cider vinegar and luckily the pains went away.

Hopefully this info is helpful.

Happy Monday everyone!

Lexi- that is great you had a fun time at the wedding!!! Glad your brother is happy! I also decided to not weigh myself after this weekend. I spent time with my family and also over ate.... Just going to be strict this week and stay phase 1 and maybe by Friday or Saturday I will be ready to jump on the scale.

You can do it!! Just think how proud you will be if you make it all day without giving in. I am feeling pretty horrible myself. I thought making some tea would help get my mind off of thinking about how I want to eat everything and it didn't. Bleck! So lets try and get through today together! Lets keeping telling ourselves that there are only a few more hours left in the day! I might go to bed hours earlier than normal to stop myself from eating.

We are tough Lexi! I know we can beat today!

Lexi
Make sure you are eating everything and using your oil and salt. You will feel better after a couple of days!
Eat the foods you like the best. And have some extra salad. I used to find the few extra carbs in the salad helped.

I just go to bed and know I will wake up to a better day. I would rather sleep than cheat

Thats great advice....Thank you ladies. It was a really tough day, I had a bite of a chip...what the **** right? I am so nutty. My mom made meatballs with allot of yummy sauce and homemade pasta, I really was dying to have 1 My kids were eating so fast and I was so jealous I am better today. I think I am going to batlle through and try to get to 110lbs. I am probably around 119 after this weekend, I have another event coming up in June, my father's 60th bday party, so I should probably try to stay on Phase 1 and lose the last 9-13 lbs and then phase off for good. We shall see. Its going to be super tough. The finish line is close, but cheating really throws me off, and I dont think I will be able to do it. On another note we took sme amazing family pictures on the beach. They are really natural looking and beautiful. My husband and I took some nice ones together and with our 3 munchkins. We took them the morning of the wedding, before the sun came up. Really nice experience. My brother arranged for us to do that, as a thank you for coming down for the wedding, that was so sweet of them, they are adorable. I am glad we went, but I am not going to lie, it cost us a pretty penny, and no more vacays this year Maybe a road trip to the NJ shore, or a day in NYC.
