Hello everyone! This is my 2nd time on IP and I am truly excited. I am on week 2 and for some reason starting IP again is actually easier this time around. I had no headaches, no cravings, no nothing. Is that normal? Also, I have a few IP products, but am using alternatives with them. I am hoping that the alternatives will be just as successful as the actual IP products. I am using EAS Advantedge carb control shakes in replacement of the RTD IP shakes. Anyone else use this or is there something else that is more comparable to the RTD IP shakes out there?

It has been really easy for me during this re-boot as well!

A lot of people on here use the EAS shakes with good success... you will do fine! I am in Canada and use a RTD shake that I get from Costco. It has 30 grams of protein which I like and I have it every morning.

Hey all

Well I am back!!!!! Started IP on Jan 24 this year and after 15 weeks I was down 70 pounds, didn't not cheat once!, I phased off completely and maintained 158-162 lbs for 5 weeks, 5 days of routine, and 2 cheat dinners, and here is when the but comes in! Then hard to tackle 3 months of Mum and Mum in law at our house, I'm and Aussie living in Canada

So needless to say my mother being Italian, and a excellent cook and bakery shopper I couldnt be rude and say no to all the treats she cooked and brought, needless to I placed on 12 lbs in those month and decided to jump back on the kart for a month to get back down and continue on the IP way of things! Day 1 today and from what. I remembered it was easier than the first time around!

Hello everyone,

Happy to hear that most of you are doing well, and that you find it easy to be OP.

As for me, I am going crazy, it seems to me that the logical thing to do in here is to take a break, a long break until I figure out what will happen.... Now I am going crazy since I am 3 days late from TOM and I did 3 home pregnancy test and they were all negative , I can't wait anymore, and I find myself more on fertility and pregnancy forums than in here!! I read tons of stories about women telling that they were pregnant but still had a negative test, some of them still had a negative test until they were like 25 weeks pregnant! So... I want to hope, but not too much, I am prepared to be disappointed once again, but really hoping that this is it this time, that I am indeed pregnant!

I usually look forward to my morning coffee but lately, I don't feel like coffee at all, and I always have this sour taste in my mouth, so... these two symptoms might be pregnancy symptoms... But maybe not....

God, I can't wait!

I have heard from a good source that those RTD ones from Costco are actually the same product as the IP ones. There is more caloeies and more protein because the have 1 ounces instead of 8. I had them every morning on phase and loved them. I didn't get hungry all morning. I liked that good amount of easy protein first thing in the morning.

Hey Sandra, I hope things go well for you. Not wanting your coffee and the sour taste sure sound like pregnancy symptoms. You know stress does wicked weird things to our bodies and if you are stressing over the diet maybe you should take a break from it. Do your best to make good food choices but don't dwell on it. When you do get pregnant I would think you'll have to come off the diet anyway because you will need more calories. Take what you have learned so far about how to eat and go from there. Good luck to you, keep us posted!

Thank you for the support

Still no TOM.... But I decided not take any pregnancy test this week anymore, it only adds to the stress... I will wait until next week and see... Waiting is the hardest part.

About being off program... I don't know... I think for now I would better stick with it so I can lose a few pounds, this way if I am pregnant it would be all the better. It seems like I am stuck into the 220s, it is like I am either a little bit less or a little bit more by a couple of pounds, but it would be better if I can be around 210 or less if I am pregnant!... Time will tell, wish me luck

I agree.... the waiting IS the hardest part! I hope you get your BIG FAT POSITIVE really soon!

And don't worry, I was pregnant with all of my kids at a heavier weight 225+ with the boys and a little less with my daughter. I only put on around 25 lbs while pregnant so delivered just over 250 I believe. You can do it, don't worry about the scale anymore.... you are in baby fever mode!

Oh really! And did you have any weight-related complications? I mean if you don't mind me asking.

My doctor wants to hear nothing from me before I lose weight and reach at least a weight of 200! She asked me to reach 180 actually, but if I am pregnant now naturally, all the better... I am dreaming of getting pregnant the natural way cause it is so draining to go through all the feritility procedures and I am praying God not to let me arrive to a point where IVF is my only option, but if I have to do it, I will (I really hope not though).

Good luck with the pregnancy stuff. Testing is more accurate if you do it with the first morning pee. please try to minimize your stress....

I don't mind at all! No, I had zero complications... healthy as a horse... just a large horse.

My 3rd pregnancy I was around 190 lbs and gained 30 lbs. Definitely a bit easier to get around at a lower weight and I felt better but they were pretty comparable I would say.

Best wishes!

Hello! I just want to say...I am thrilled this thread exists. I hated having to admit to myself that I really let meself go and didn't maintain properly and I am sure the daily thread people don't want to hear it... but we all understand how easy it is to fall back into habits and I just think this support system is a Godsend!
My thin clothes aren't fitting and I threw out old "fat clothes" I am tired of being depressed and I have to get the healthy me back for my personal and professional sanity!

I am getting married in November of 2013 so let's see if I can get these lbs off and maintain for wedding festivities!

Sandra, best of luck with pregnancy issues. As you know this diet has helped people who had problems with fertility! You might be a lucky one who gets to tell her story. it will happen when you aren't worrying about it.

Come by the maintainers thread too. There are many who are struggling with the summer weight caused by vacation, etc.

But we all know it will come off if you get strict and stick to it.
