Day 3 of the restart. Going good, I am amaze how much better I feel when I stay 100% OP. It is amazing that you can eat so little and feel so good. Once I start eating carbs I cannot control myself and I feel so bad from eating junk. Good luck everyone

I gave all my big clothes away too!! But can survive the Labor Day weekend! You message me if you need to! I just restarted on Monday and thought I would never get back to where i was and here I am. Trying to get past my anger towards myself because Day 4 I am feeling awesome. Cheers to now knowing that maintenance is realllllly important! !

I'm about 15 lbs from my lowest weight but that might have been an unrealistic weight. I want to lose at least 10 and then reassess. It is such a slippery slope! I am 5 lbs. above the weight I said I would NEVER let myself rise above again!! I did quite well for the first year. My thin clothes are getting tight. Some of the smallest ones I would look, er, would it be offensive if I said, like a hooker? An old hooker! Maybe middle aged. I am having surgery on my shoulder on Friday. I had the first shoulder done in January 2011 which is when I first went on IP. I've stayed op today but am going to have my last glass of wine tonight. Since I'm having my right shoulder done and I am R handed it may be difficult to post for a little while. I may get DH to do it! Anyway, hello to all of you who are restarting. The good thing is, we know it works if we stick to it! May the force be with you!
Hang in there with your arm! Good luck! My mom broke her right shoulder last month so I have been helping her a lot since my dad has to travel a lot. So despite the frustration, focus on eating IP and not carbs while you are recovering. If I could I would come do your hair for you, that is one thing my mom really appreciates, I blow dry her hair for her 2 times a week.

The nurse told me to test on this Saturday and if by Monday no period yet, to call the hospital for an appointment, but of course since I can't wait until Saturday without testing, I bought the cheap pregnancy tests to do meanwhile and left the good brand for Saturday. Meanwhile, no dieting for me now, but the hard thing is that I don't really know what to eat! I would much rather have the discipline of being on IP than guessing what should I be eating.

I will sure re-start if I am sure I am not pregnant, but of course not if I am (hoping for the latter, cannot wait to know what it is like to be pregnant).

Wish me luck.
I would maybe stick with a phase 3 mentality if you are worried about being pregnant because that is a normal healthy way of eating for many lifestyles.
You don't want to fall off wagon too much in case you aren't pregnant, that will only upset you. hang in there! Keep us posted.

I have been phase 1 since Monday too. I am so much less bloated already. The looming long weekend will be challenging, but I am trying to plan ahead so I know what we will be eating.

Getting the water in is also always tough.

buy a huge bottle...I found a 32oz reusable water bottle i take with me everywhere. I make sure to fill it up 3x a day so I know, however hectic my day might be, I get at least 96oz.

Day 4 of the restart. Up early trying to get a start on all my cooking for the weekend. Family staying until Monday, cookout at our house on Sunday. I am motivated to stay 100 % OP thru the whole weekend. I can do this!!!

Hello to all fellow re-starters! I think we all have the same story here....I've been at this again for about 6 weeks. I have to say, the weight loss is MUCH slower this time around but it's still coming off.

I really hope to have a bigger loss this week - at least 2 pounds would be awesome.

Keep up the great work you are doing, ladies.

I don't what it is about hurricanes, but I picked on junk food all day Wednesday, not really hungry, just bored - it was pretty pathetic! Started back on phase 1 yesterday, had a great day - except my energy level was low - or maybe I over did it! We have 7 acres, and with all the limbs down from Issac, I spent most of the afternoon picking them up! I ate dinner early, - like 4:30, then went to bed at 9, I was exhausted! Feel much better today! Looking forward to the long weekend - OP! Have a great weekend everyone!
