Good morning everyone. The visitors have gone, i am ready to begin concentrating on losing lots of weight. I will restart with alternatives tomorrow!! Today I will get in some supplies, take before pics and measure myself. I want to try and track everything and really plan to make this work. Does anyone keep a food journal. do you use a phone app? What one is it. I check in tomorrow and fill in my figures etc. Excited and nervous!

Hello,
I don't use any app, I use an excel sheet where I keep my weight record and my measurement, I chose an official day for my official weekly weigh-in (cause i weigh myself almost every day) and I should measure myself every month but I am skipping that lately, the month pass by without me remembering.
Hi re-starters...sorry, I've been away from the boards for a bit and couldn't find this thread until I searched back a few pages. I'm down another 3lbs since the last time I checked in. I wore a pair of jeans last night that were tight around my waist last week and were comfortable/almost loose last night!

Hello All. I have been crazy busy all week. Tomorrow is my first weigh in. week one done! I had a stomach bug which left me feeling awful but I managed to stay on plan. Here's hoping for a good result tomorrow.
Hi Restarters,
I too fell victim to compliments. I was down to 152 but better yet, size 8 (thick waist) and everyone was telling me I looked skinny and to not lose too much. So, I put the plan on hold for the summer and slowly gained 4 lbs. Now it is time to stop making excuses and get back on track to get to 145 which I know is where I should be for my height/age. I am going to do alternatives without an IP coach this time -- hopefully I can get the momentum that I had in the Spring.
Today is my 1 week being sick! My eyes are completely red, I am still coughing but I feel much better.
So, today, I am re-starting being OP, I did not bring any vegetables with me to work, but I hope I can make it up for supper, not sure how I can fit 4 cups of veggies all at once, but will try.
I too am restarting... my story appears to be the same as many - only I gained back alot more than most... spring of 2011 my DH and I did the program together and after 3 1/2 months we were both down 53 lbs... fell for the "Oh you look great, have a beer while you golf" which then went to the "Oh it's summer, you can get back OP in the winter, enjoy Dairy Queen" and then ofcourse that lead to "Oh its Chirstmas Holidays, start in the New Year" and thus the cycle started again!!!
Now I have decided no more! I got on the scale over the past weekend and was up 47 of the 53 I had lost... Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! But the past is the past, can't change it by looking back, can only learn from it and move forward!
So I started back OP this past Monday, on Day 4 today and already feel better, I really did forget how good the food tasted - makes me wonder why I ever went off? My today wish is that IP (or an alternative) makes a RTE ice cream... haven't tried the recipe here yet... maybe... but RTE would be much better! LOL!
Anyway - hope you all have a great OP day and I look forward to checking in alot more often! I recognize a few of the names on here from my last go around.... this time we will learn from our past and not repeat the slip ups of the future - we got this!!!
Good morning. I posted in the daily yesterday and forgot to post here. My re start week one weighin I lost 12.2 lbs!!!!!! Wayhay! Hers to an OP week 2. Good luck all.
Countdown to my reboot. I have 5 more events....this Saturday at the track in Saratoga for Travers festival, Monday and Tuesday at Foxwoods on the road with my hubby, friends for dinner next Friday, and dinner at friends on next Saturday.
Then 100% phase 1 from Labor Day to Columbus Day. I have technically been in maintenance for 15 months....I am still down over 60 pounds but up almost 20 since I went into maintenance.
I also plan to do 1-3 weeks of phase 2 than a week of phase 3 before going back to maintenance.
I literally I eaten and drank anything and everything possible this summer. I have about 4 bad days a week, 1 veggie day a week, and 2 so-so days a week....not GOOD!
Back to 1-2 phase 1 days, 3-4 maintenance/low-calorie days, and 1-2 free days...that is how I maintained for a year....before I started gaining.
After 6 days of hard work, I am glad to say I am down 4 lbs and almost 1% body fat using all alterative products. It's so comforting to know that when I work my plan, my plan works for me; it never fails me. I have felt hungry and kinda tired the last few days, even though I'm taking my supplements/vitamins, eating properly, and drinking my water. I'm hoping it will pass soon.
