I'm still scale hopping but I just can't believe the weight is moving off this quickly. I'm down a total of 8lbs in 10 days. This is fast for me.

So what is everyone's game plan for Thanksgiving?

I am cooking for 8 or 9 and my original plan was to just cook normally and eat what I wanted but keep the portions small and get back on plan afterwards. Since this seems to be going so well I am toying with the idea of pulling out portions of food before seasoning and saving them for my daughter and I to eat.

Everyone have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy your time with families and friends!

Hello everyone,

I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

I think it will be a pretty easy day of food choices as long as I can resist the pie. It's sweet potatoe pie, but it has some other bad stuff in it. Tastes great.

Enjoy your time with your families!

Hello all - First of all let me say, I hope each of you has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

This is the first time I'm getting serious about really losing weight in about 4 years, when I was my lowest(165). Since then I shot all the way up to 205, and now I've plateaued for the last 2 years or so at 185. I've always been active, but due to problems with my hormones weight doesn't come off easily, but I guess the upside to that is I don't gain it too easily, either. I've really been interested in Michael Thurmond's program for about a year now, and I'm ready to get serious and buckle down and buy it. It's very encouraging to know there's so many of you out there who are using it successfully! I'm aware that it mainly cuts out sugars, salt and processed garbage, but I have a question in general(or for any other B types); what are the overall diet restrictions on dairy? How much does the program allow if any at all? Because honestly, I can't live without my milk! I know, people say to get serious the only way is to give up certain foods you like, but I'd sooner become a lacto-vegetarian and give up everything else just to keep it!(Which I may just do if this program doesn't work out =)) So If anyone could let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much and god bless!

Just checking in - hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

I totally blew the diet on Thanksgiving - I knew I would, I don't know what I was thinking but I enjoyed every minute of it! I am back on track and am down a total of 9 lbs at my two week weigh in so I am back in the running again.

How is everyone doing?

Hi everyone:

Had great holiday but had lots of stuff not on programme. Gained 1# overall, but back on track as of yesterday.

Seems like everyone is doing well. Any new recipes?

Hi everyone:

Cuba was great. Beaches & weather was wonderful. Had a relaxing holiday for a change & did lots of swimming & suntanning. Also went bicycling and had a hour long massage which was heaven. We did a 1/2 day tour into a cuban city and did horse-drawn carriage & boatride as well. Lots of walking around resort & jumping in big waves.

I guess I managed to only gain 1# because we got in some exercise. Their food isn't as good as what we are use to, but no one went hungry. But overall food isn't great. But resort was lovely and people very friendly.

So what is everyone having today for their meals?

I haven't ventured into real cooking yet. I'm still having grilled chicken tenders - they seem to be the perfect size - and veggies.

I hit my 10lb mark this morning - so I am excited.

I am starting this program tomorrow and looking for some other members that are trying it. I've had it for a while and went on it a few days at a time before but always find excuses for not sticking to it and now I find myself at my heaviest weight ever, more than when I was pregnant years ago! I look in the mirror and am shocked that I have let myself get like this.

Hello everyone. I just joined 3FC this morning and have been busy reading. I have had the MT plan for over a year now but have not really done anything with it. I have decided to make 2008 my year. I will acheive my goals, big or small. I am a 34 year old stay at home mother of one. I have RA and OA. I have been on disability for several years now. I weigh 275 right now. Which makes it really hard on the joints. Down from an all time high of 295. I weighed Dec 30th 2007 and was 278. I started doing the plan but fell off a few times. So here I am back at it again. I look forward to posting with you all and hearing about your sucesses.

Hi everyone:

I didn't think anyone was posting here so haven't been on this site for awhile.

Angil - I will look through my stuff & send you some info since we are same types.

I started off good then got off track & have been mixing some of these ideas with ww which isn't so strict.

How is everyone liking this?

Hi ladies:

Did you know you can go on website & get basically what you need for your type? That is better than someone trying to send you everything online.

Good luck.
