I have read all the great postings to this group. You all sound so committed and willing to suppport each other. I ordered this program about 3 hours ago and am excited to get started. Hope I can count on you for help.

Also, the users who were posting to this forum in 2001- 2005, did you have success?

It doesn't seem like this plan is getting as many postings as previously. Have you started yet? I just ordered mine yesterday and am sooo anxious. I think I'm older than most of the people that are on this thread but am ready to go !

Default Let's Get Re-motivated To Do The 6wbmo

Hello Everyone,

It doesn't look like there have been any postings to this thread in a while. I hope that you are all still doing the program and still and having some good success. It's a bit restrictive, but it does work!

I have had the information for a little while, but was trying something else with no success. I have a very close friend who will be featured on the new commercial. She went from a size 28 to a 6, in 11 months. So I know that the program works. She was also very faithful to exercise, therefore no sagging skin and she looks fantastic. I am very proud of her.

Anyways, I started on Monday 2/19/07. I would like to give support as well as get support. So if you are out there and thinking about starting or restarting, PLEASE HOP ON IN AND POST! Let's support each other.

One more thing....
Maybe we could start by listing what your strategy to stay on plan each day will be.

My plan or goal for this week is to plan, prepare and stay perfect on plan!

Ok, I can't believe there is no one on this entire site that isn't doing or haven't tried the 6wbmo. It is a bit restrictive, but it's a great program and it works.

This first week, I lost 5 lbs. I know that I would have done better if I didn't eat the red meat, but it's allowed, just limited quantities, being a type C.

I guess if no one posts in the next couple of days, I will just let it be and do it on my own.

I did this program in 2005. It worked really well. I think I lost like 30 lbs in 10 weeks. There were a few days in there that I didn't stay on plan or I'm sure I would have lost more. I ended up going off it because we were moving across country. We had to wait a week before we had a place to live and then we had to wait like a month before our household goods got here. (My husband's in the Army.) So staying on the program wasn't an option.

I would love to be able to do it again, but I don't think I have the self disapline right now to do it. I like my salt and can't drink that much water. I am, however, doing something similar. I've combined this program with a couple others. Basically I've added in a couple new types of healthy carbs and protein, but I've kept the way I eat everything (how much and what to eat at each meal.) This helps me feel less deprived.

I hope it really works for you.

Nicolbw, Thank you for your reply. I am glad to here that you are doing something and that it's working for you.

I do agree that this is a restrictive program, but if you can take 30 lbs off, in 6 weeks, I guess it has to be. It's a very sensible and sound way of life and once you get to Living Lean, you can began to tweak the program to your likings.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Lori and I just ordered the 6wbm last week and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival so that I may begin. I currently attend WW because I need the accountability of the weigh-ins but follow the Atkins diet. I have been wanting to get the 6wbm for some time now and fianlly bit the bullet. I am a body type "A" (according to the on-line test) and was wondering if anyone out there can give me a rough idea of what I should stock up on so that I can begin the diet as soon as it arrives. I have 102 pounds to lose so if there is anyone out there who would like to buddy up I would love to chat.

Take care and have a great day,
Lori

Lori,
So glad to hear that you ordered the program. It's a great program and I have restarted it after being away from it for about 4 years.

It's my third week and I have lost a little over 11 lbs.

I would suggest that you start training yourself to get all the water in, cut out your salt and processed sugars. Chicken breast, fish and turkey breast are great buys as well as fresh veggies. I am a type C so some of the things that we get at each meal would be different.

I wish you all the best on this journey, post as often as you can and let's do this together!

Take care,
Ulanda

Default Support on board!!

HI guys! I was hoping people would start talking in here! I am on the 6 week program as well. I have started and stopped more then I care to say. Its not that the program is that hard...or restricting. My motivation has been compromised (by my own choice) by the stress of life. NO excuse! I have frequented the 6 week BMO site but some of those people get so hard core it almost works in a negative way to me. I only have one goal and its to get control of many aspects of my life, one being my health!

I have a lot of recipes and excel info for use with this plan and would love to share!

I hope your day is POP!

Look forward to sharing support!

Kat

Post I ordered

Hi Everyone.

I happened to come across these surfing the net. I ordered the program yesterday and now am waiting for it to arrive (ETA 23/21).
I've seen the commercials and debated on ordering. But yesterday he was on HSN and they were selling it as one of their show stoppers.

I am currently 225 lbs (God that hurts to type) at 5'5". This is the heaviest I've ever been and it didn't hit me until this past Saturday when I was at my golf lesson. My instructor was vidoe taping my swing and when he played it back, the tears welled up in my eyes. I couldn't believe that was me on the screen.

If I could even lose 30 pounds before I go on vacation in July, I will be happy. I also think if I do lose this weight, it will help me finally get pregnant (ttc for 6 1/2 years - no luck).

I'm looking forward to starting the program and chatting with you all.
