Hi I'm new! , and at the moment I don't have a lot of time but I do think that writing out what I eat is a great key for me to track and be accountable.
So today for Breakfast I had a good sized granny smith apple, and 2 cups of puffed wheat and rice combo. No milk, I like it dry!
2 table spoons of creamer (I know, bad.) in my coffee.
I could have had a another piece of fruit but I had to get the kid out the door.
I eat simple food and a low low sodium diet.
Mid morning I had 10 dried cherries.
estimation was about 300 cal.
I have to figure out how many cals. are in dried cherries.
CatNa9-Welcome I find I always do better when I post the foods I eat on these threads. Ocean Spray lists their dried cherries as being 130 for 1/4 cup.
Finally caught up on sleep. I've been a mess physically and mentally the last few days from lack of sleep.

I counted the cherries in a loosely filled 1/4 cup. it was 40.
So 10 to fifteen dried cherries always satifies my sweet tooth and not as high in calories as I thought. (32.5 ok round up to 35)
I have to hide the bag, because if my husband spies it, there go my cherries. (these are organic bulk no added sugar)
Breakfast,
2 eggs over very easy steam fried, with a tiny amount of olive oil 150 cals.
2 slices of Challah bread toasted. smalll amount of low fat marge. Estimating 250 cals. that may be high but my slices are thick,
1 Granny smith apple, 65
coffee with 2 spoons of creamer 60
equals 525 cals.
This will keep me going for a long time, so even though it's more calories than I usaully eat for breakfast, SAT is my larger breakfast day!
