I'm with hotmama Kari... DON'T GIVE UP!! About two years ago I lost about 60 lbs and then kinda gave up because it was happening as fast or how I wanted it to. Over two years I regained about 40 lbs of it so now I'm in the process of losing that again before I can lose the rest. You've done so well you should be proud of yourself. Keep pushing, try changing things up a little bit... You can so do this! We are all here for you!

So I was planning on going back home to see my friends this weekend, I decided I would go after my mom said she'd pay for my gas since I was taking my little sister as well (as I always do) Well my sister got poison oak on her cheek a few days ago and now her poor lil face is all swollen and way worse. Now she isn't going which means no gas money =( I feel bad because I already made plans with the girls, and I miss having girl friends sooo much! But oh well maybe it wasn't going to be fun or something
Anyways today is my last day of work at the hospital and I'm very excited even though I know it's going to be difficult lining up another job in this itty bitty town in the middle of nowhere. But at least this is GOODBYE stress and tummy aches! GOODBYE being over worked and under staffed! Bye Bye Bye

I recently bought some Walden Farms 0 calorie products (before I quit my job) and I think they're definitley something to SKIP! So far I've tried the caramel.. yuck! It does have a caramely taste but if you dip somethng in it you can't taste it anymore and it tastes basically like sugar. The Alfredo sauce is the most disgusting thing I've tried, the bacon dip is ok not so bad but I don't know what to dip in it because veggies dont taste good in it for some reason. The honey mustard salad dressing is alright. They basically taste like something you'd pick p at the dollar store that were outdated. Also they are definitley over priced and I will neverpurchase them again. Silly me for not reading up on all the bad comments this company has gotten! Lol woops.

Thanks girls for all the support as always, I really love our little grouP! =)

KARI... DOn't give up sweetheart... you were sick and that might have had something to do with it! We all know you can do it!!!!!! And remember how proud of yourself you've been and how a lot of your cravings have vanished!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment in itself!

Kari!!! Don't give up!

I'm a calorie counter, and after losing 7 pounds in 2 weeks my third week brought an extra 1/2 pound... And my average for the week was 1200/day, plus all the usual exercise and no TOM... But do you think I gave up??? My old self maybe, but nor the 3FC Raluca!!! I keep counting my cals, stay away from salt (I think that must have been the culprit) and walk whenever I can.

If I were you I would do phase I again... Or wait a couple of days, eat moderately (think of it as "training for FS") and then start again!

If my plateau stays for another week I'm going at FS too!

Jill, that stinks that you can't go hang out with the girls. Being a single mom I don't get to hang out with my friends often and I always look so forward to it when I do. So I know what a bummer that is.

Yay for you ralucat! Keep sticking with it!

And I really love this group too, you are all a great inspiration!! You keep me motivated

So far today I have eaten bout the same as yesterday, debating whether or not to brave the snow and head out to the gym... if my key even works, they tried to take the money out of the wrong account, ugggh.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I had my first taste of salmon last night since being on Phase 2! Today is day 3! My husband's little sister turned 16 so we all went out to eat at Chili's and I got the "Guiltless Grilled Salmon" I think that's what its called. I nixed the black beans and Parmesan cheese so I ended up with Salmon, broccoli and stredded carrots. I must admit, it was pretty good! They listed the calories which was 480, there was 3 grams of saturated fat, and like 13 grams of regular fat I think. I still felt guilty honestly. So I did a workout this morning. I'll probably try to get another one in later on tonight. I won't be eating salmon that often though. I really would like to stick to phase 1 as much as I can. I'm gonna read the Extreme Fat Smash Diet tonight and maybe go back and forth from that phase 1 to the Fat Smash phase 1 and see what happens! The only things I've really done extra in Phase 2 is eat a whole egg along with the 4 egg whites, eaten cereal and thats pretty much it!

Hey ladies hope everyone is having a great weekend! It snowed quite a bit here yesterday, but is all melting off today. My son and I went for a long walk, well he rode his scooter, it felt good to get out and get some fresh air.

I wanted to mention I hear a lot of us talking about basically staying in phase 1, which I have to admit I haven't varied much from either, I think out of fear. But I have to keep reminding myself that these are suppose to be building blocks to help me continue healthy eating for the rest of my life, not just till I shed the pounds, so that I can eat without fear of certain foods. I have to remember I am suppose to be learning portion control and learn how to fuel my body. Although I did learn through phase 1 that there are some foods I can live without which is amazing, I am shocked at myself. Not to say I won't enjoy them now and again, but I know I no longer need them on a daily basis, for example bread and chocolate, and I don't miss meat as much as I thought I would either, but will definitely enjoy it now and again. But as long as I am getting what I need from each food group and getting on a plan I can stick with for life, and of course shed some punds along the way then this plan will have worked. I am really glad I found this plan, it makes so much sense to me and something I truly think I can live with.

Maybe a buddy is what i need because losing weight to keep it off is a battle, esp. if you have no support. I almost gave into temptation but remembered whats in store for me and my health so i grabbed my yogurt and fruit and kept it moving!!!! Maybe i can get a lil feedback from you ladies.....

breakfast: oatmeal-yuck btw, cup of skim milk and fruit

snack: fruit and yogurt

lunch: salad w/ cucmbers, carrots, celery, and kidney beans
lil bit of lowfat dressing
1 cp of brown rice

snack: more fruit and yogurt

dinner: another salad......you know the rst
i cup of brown rice

snack: apple

very bland in comparison to everyone else's i suppose but im very picky in what i eat....obviously cant wait for phase 2

Hi Ladies...
Well after being stupidly depressed for the past few days I'm starting to feel more like normal again. I planned on letting myself eat what ever I wanted for a few days. Funny though I couldn't bring myself to go to far off the diet. Still haven't had a soda, though last night I had a margaritta. Wednesday I'm going to start day 1 of Phase 1 again. It's payday and I can stock the cupboards and fridge accordingly, until then I'm sorta in phase 2, eating lean meat and fish and veggies. I am going to focus on losing 17 lbs and then go from there. Be proud of myself for everything I have accomplished and stop obsessing with the fact that my sister who I haven't seen in 8 months will be home in a few weeks and she sais she is 119 lbs. Why I still feel the need to be just like her I have no idea, but that is the bare bones of it. I will be back on Wednesday. Thankyou all for your kind words and support, it means so much to know that there are women out there to be supportive.

Yay Kari! It's ok to take a day or two, the important thing is you got back up!

Welcome DLISH.. Sounds like you are doing fine, and remember you only have a couple days till you can add back a few more things you like.

My son and I just got back from another walk, weather is a little better today, didn't need as many layers. Had some cereal and milk for breakfast this morning, with a little coffee, first I've had since starting and honestly I couldn't even drink it. I drank about half a cup. For lunch I had some beans, peppers and rice again, and about half a banana. I think I will have some grapes for a snack and for dinner a morning star chicken patty and salad. My son tried the chicken patty the other day and is actually asking for it. I think they are really good, and I didn't tell him any different, but was suprised he asked for it. Well hope everyone is having a great weekend of smashing fat!

dinner - salad with boca chicken patty on it, sweet potato fries w/ vinegar.

I want some chocolate but i'm going to have tea and see what that does. good thing is i have nothing bad in my house and i'm not leaving!

Hey ladies! I had to post again, I hopped on the scale today and I lost 4 more pounds this week! I am soo excited! At the beginning of the year I had made a goal to lose 5 pounds a month and I am way ahead of schedule, had to revise my goals twice already thanks to fat smash! That already took me to my previously revised March goal, so I'll shoot for another five. Yay!
