  • hot mama - don't feel bad i have been moving very slow with the weight loss. just finished my 13 day lax FS1 and only lost 2.5 but hey it's something. i wasn't really good b/c i eat too much of a good thing and so thus i'm consuming too many calories. my goal is to work on portion sizes.

    2beautiful - i love cookies! a girl at work had brownies and cookies today at her desk and i just kept thinking summer...summer! i can do this and summer will be here before I know it. stupid but for today it helped. i do eat the fat smash cookies a lot though - i ate my oatmeal for breakfast today so i can't have them tonight bummer. just start tomorrow - u know u can do this!

    b - oatmeal, banana, yogurt
    l - salad w/ gonzo beans and green peppers, grapes
    d - homemade vegetarian chili, a nature's promise soy burger (disgusting don't buy them - of course my fat arse ate it but they are so not good like the boca or morning star brand!)

    there will be something else in my future but for now that's how st. patty's day has shaked out!

  • I am petrified of the scale!! Will an extra workout help? I don't know what to do!! I am sooo upset with myself and on top of it all I have a party on friday and I was planning to let myself have a treat. Okay I have to get back on track. I am going to do an extra workout tonight and then tomorow I will be good!
  • Thanks for all the encouraging words!!! I actually tappe into the wheat chrackers again but its okay---you fall down, and get right back up again!!!! Stilll,better than chips!! I had broccoli for lunch today but didnt even finish it...my appetite is very weird!! I couldn't work out today but tomorrow, ITS ON!!!! The weigh in will begin manana!!!!!
  • delish - yes crackers are better than other things - i keep a big bowl of cleaned grapes for snacking. i notice when i don't have them i pick other bad things. i also try decaf tea if i'm really going to binge at night.

    2beautiful - what if your treat at the party is staying on plan?! go ahead and curse at me - i totally understand. i'm a march madness fan so i'll be in a bar in the city somewhere and it will be hard not to drink but i'm going to try and not go ballistic. as for food - i'll be with ya..guess i'll have salad or stick a banana or bag of grapes in my purse. nobody ever said this was going to be fun huh?!

    i did end up eating a salad tonight and a ckn boca patty. i'm going to bed to read - i never eat in my bed
  • Nice Try Lisa!! Are you nuts!! Staying OP is not a treat!!! My plan now is if I get down to 192 I will allow myself one small treat if I don't then no treats at all.

    I love the no eating in bed policy. I used to always eat in bed but I think I am going to make it a rule that I don't! Maybe then I woudl lose weight!! Oh I am so annoyed with myself. But I did get my extra workout in!! I hope 30 min of cardio cancels the damage.
  • Hey ladies!

    So today my son and I went "out" for the day we went to lunch at one of his favorite places, got him some new soccer shoes, went down to the river, shopped a little and went to see The Spiderwick Chronicles. All in all I did pretty good today. Considering that is, we went to a buffet style resteraunt so I was pretty much able to stick to veggies and chicken, and it was all very good. But of course I couldn't pass up dessert, but I only had a little. And I had my own snack for the movie, not a big popcorn fan so I normally do that anyway. Heading to bed for now, will catch up on all todays posts tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing well! Happy smashing

    the rest of you, sorry for the lack of posting. i am still reading though. my husband has been off work my last 3 days of spring break, so i have been spending lots of time with him! also today was my birthday. I had no birthday cake, so proud of myself!!!

    anyways, excited about getting back to the gym tomorrow. my father in law has an eliptical that he might be giving me... WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME.

    anyways.... i will talk to you all soon. good job so far this week, i start regular fat smash tomorrow- detox. any tips?

  • DLISH.. weigh yourself? Have you tried the 'Green Giant' Frozen Vegetable Bags? They're really yummy they have seasonings already in them you just pop em in the microwave, they're delicious, or have you tried boca products? Or maybe you can pick up a few different flavors of low cal soups... I think you should try some new stuff! It would help.

    ANNIE... that is so awesome $15... way cool! Definitley helps he's nice to look at lol

    2BEAUTIFUL... lol Actually I was going to eat an artichoke so I was looking up recipes and found that SBD recipe it looked yummy.. so I posted it for them. Lol I'm not switching though and if I was yall would be the FIRST to know SOrry about your recent sugar craving No matter what keep going.. everyone messes up. I always think 'Oh well I already messed up' but then I think I'd rather maintain my weight and keep trying than gain weight by quitting. I heard if you mess up and then workout that night etra, it's suppose to help the weight not stick

    ... I agree with beautiful, maybe you have some extra water weight or something... or maybe there is something you recently started eating that your body doesn't work well with? And I would try someone elses scale to make sure it was correct.

    As for me yesterday wasn't so great. I didn't work out because I'm sore from the day before. And I felt starving all day, I was also super stressed so I know it's all in my head. I'm such an emotional eater. Sometimes I can eat a whole bag of something before I even realize I'm eating. Ok so def not all P1 friendly.. and about 2000 calories which is way over the 1200-1400 I go for. (I still check calories)

    BF: strawberries/broccoli/caesar dressing
    & no sugar added grape juice
    L: Beans/ Banana
    S: popcorn(I had a bag and a half )
    D:lean cuisine & veggie bag-cheese
    S:shredded wheats cereal & f/f milk



    Dang I ate alot.... today will be a better day! And to all our new members We love new smashers!
  • Thanks! Day 2 and I'm still going strong. Not only am I getting married in less then 6 months but we are getting married in Mexico so I will have to be in a bikini in front of all of his family and mine!! What was I thinking...hahaha..

    Jillnicole03-I'm going to take your advice and get the 'Green Giant' Frozen Vegetable Bags. I need vegetables that are yummy and convenient.

    I also tried the frozen grapes last night for the first time and was very impressed.

    Also, I am having trouble setting up a weight loss tracker...do you need to have a certain amount of posts first before being allowed to set one up? I noticed none of the junior members have one?

    2Beautiful, I looked and looked for that book yesterday at barnes and noble only to find out it was out of stock. Im going to keep trying but I was hoping to get to read it on my break. And today would have been perfect, it is raining like crazy, we have had approx 8 inches since midnight and it's suppose to continue through wednesday. I'm trying to decide if I should drive or take a boat to class tonight

    Jill thank you! And you can do this, I'm having a hard time this week being home. It's easier when I'm at work and I take only what I need to eat while I'm there. I still count calories too.

    Mazda I think you have to have a certain amount of posts or have been a memeber a month. Your wedding sounds like it will be amazing by the way!

    So far today:
    B: cereal and skim milk
    L veggies and morning star chicken 2 choc chip cookies
    D will probably be soup, lowfat cheese... maybe fruit
    (have to eat way early on Tuesdays because of class so will probably have a snack late ... hopefully fruit)

    No walking today... maybe I should swim there is enough water out there

    Hot- happy late birthday!!! mine was a drag. have a toothache, so actually cancelled all plans. went to work and class and then watched movies and ate yummy salads with hubby! i had no fat sour cream and onion ranch. so awesome!

    jill- i have lost a total of 15 ish lbs. i am not updating my ticker until i weigh myself again 9 days from tomorrow.

    2beautiful- omg, i know, i really wanted a cookie cake. you know a big cookie. but the store was out, so i guess it was a sign not to have cake at all. when we went out to dinner my mother in law tried to force some cake on me and i told her no. haha!


    to the girls losing weight for your wedding, best of luck! both of you will do stellar! i did the same , sadly though you tend to pack it back on when you get married, i have been married almost 2 years and it came back. but you will do better than me, because NO ONE warned me that happiness= chubbiness when you're a wife. hahahaha.

    anyways. had a salad today and fruit. for dinner had a chicken breast and veggies. for a snack had a 100 cal pack. gotta love those.

    as you can tell have not started FS, am doing EFS still pretty much. I will totally start FS detox once I get this tooth taken care of because honestly i can hardly eat right now. it hurts and i am scared of the dentist! but what are ya gonna do?


    by the way, this weather sucks. rain rain rain and more rain!!!

  • I LOST NINE POUNDS!!!!!! Yes, i finally weighed myself today and lost weight!! I also notice my shirts are a lil looser!!! Yippee skippee!!!

    So girls today was a much better day eating wise. I realized TOM is coming and that's probably why I've been extra depressed, moody and craving stuff. I bought a pineapple from the store and cut it up today it was sooooo yuuuummmmy! MMMmmm

    BF:Banana Oatmeal & 1/2 c Milk
    S: Yogurt w/frozen Blueberries
    L: Big bowl of Soup
    D: Veggie Patti w/ Grilled Onion & sml. bowl of Beans
    S: Pineapple & Strawberries
