Tried to get on here last night and couldn't get it to work.
Gary so glad you are feeling better after having a rough time in the chair the day before. I was telling my DH about you today and how I think your wonderful attitude is why you are doing so well. I am sure you are as much an inspiration and witness to others around you as you are to us here on this thread. It is a blessing to know you. You are a true example of how faith and trust in our Lord works. In fact you and others like Bargoo and Rosebud are great inpirations and examples of true faith people to all of us. Prayers continue for you.
Rosebud I rejoice and Praise God for His quick answer to our prayers for you to have a surgeon. I have praying as I'm sure we all are that there will be no complications for the surgeon's procedure or for you as you go through it all. We expect to continue and complete the good work He has begun in you in this situation.
Bargoo Wonderful scriptures you gave Rosebud and I took them for my situation too.
Update on Tony and his DD. Finally got a call from the Pain Management doc and they can't get Tony in until January 25th but have him on a list if they get a cancellation and work him in.
DD graduated from nursing school yesterday. She was top in her class and was chosen to speak for the class. We are proud of her. Her DH insists on moving back to FL so oldest DGS told me today that they are moving back sometime in January. As much as we love them, we will be glad to have our house back. Oldest DGS will be here on weekends because he is in college here. He always said he was going back to FL in 2 yrs to go to college but now says he will be here 4 yrs. I think he just wants to be free from everything. I can tell DH is hurt because I think he feels we have been manipulated and used. But God has a way of using things for good and one thing although it hurts, I think he sees that we have helped this girl all these yrs and as much as we love her, we have to close off the money strings. Thanks you for all you prayers for us. Because of your prayers, I believe we will end ok.
BARGOO ~ yes, thank you for those scriptrues -- they are kind of a confirmation to me too, as I felt GOD tell me (through His Holy Spirit into my mind) to read all my "FEAR NOT" scriptures, that I have written in a little notebook that I keep on my bedside table. I put all my favorite positive verses & praise verses in it, and read them when I need them or before bed. I will make sure those verses are in it too ...
RONNI ~ continuing to pray for LEITHA and her family at this time.
TRISH ~ thank you for your kind words and prayers. It is always our hope that we can help and encourage others in this journey we all share ...
GARY & DEE & EVERYONE ELSE ~ and ^prayers^ to/for all of you too; thanks for your prayers as well!

Thanks for prayers-Leitha went home to be with the Lord early this morning. Her family is very sad, but also take great comfort in knowing they'll see her again. I'm sure it'll be a difficult Christmas season, though, so thank you in advance for any prayers on their behalf.
ronni - Yes, I'll be praying for Leitha's family. My previous hubby passed away 4 days before Thanksgiving 12 yrs ago and I know how her family is feeling. We know we will be with our loved one again and it is difficult to go through the 1st holidays without them any way, but when they pass away so close to the holiday it is seems to be worse. I pray God will comfort them and give them peace as only He can do.
RONNI ~ ^PRAYERS^ going up for LEITHA'S family for comfort & peace at this time ...
PRAYER REQUEST PLEASE ~ We're getting ready for our trip Thursday to SUDBURY to see the surgeon (appt on Friday am); prayers are needed for a safe trip there and back ... thanks everyone!

rosebud, praying for traveling mercy for your trip to Sudbury. I am asking angels to guide you on your trip there and back. I fully expect a safe. comfortable and uneventful trip as you travel.
GARY & TRISH & BARGOO ~ Thanks so much; it's a very long trip -- about 200-300 miles each way (I'm just guessing how far; it takes about 5-6 hours to get there), but we're staying in a motel overnight. The appt is on Friday at 10 AM with the surgeon. Yes, I hope we have all good news too. I'm a bit nervous, but I guess that's normal in this type of situation, and I hope I don't forget to ask him anything important.
Made a homemade lunch and am taking some cushions/pillows & a blanket to be more comfortable. A friend is coming to stay at our house to look after our furry baby; I am happy about that becuz he was an abandoned pet and he has never been separated from us overnight before. He knows her, so he should be OK with her here to look after him. So much help from family and friends; and that is a big load off my mind, and I am so grateful for them all.
I am so grateful for all of you too; thanks so much for your prayers -- they are helping me so much ....
PRAYER REQUEST ~ my stepmother, GRACE, has to have chemo for the next month to zap cancer cells in her bladder that they think are causing the tumors. Bless her heart, she sent me a lovely card of encouragement today for my surgery as well. ^Prayers^ that the chemo immobolizes and kills those C-cells so the tumors won't come back.
GOOD NEWS ~ my DAD turned 80 years young on December 2nd, and he was so happy that he passed his driver's test this week. (Here you have to take the whole thing again when you turn 80.)
Sadly, our friend, MAGGIE didn't pass hers (she got too nervous), so she will practice some more in the spring and try again. She could use some prayers for encouragement about that; thanks!

Rosebud-You'll be in my prayers, as you are each day. Safe travels! And, praise that you have so many good friends and family to help you through this! Will pray for your doggie to be at ease while you are gone, too, as well as for Grace and Maggie! Take care & God bless!
