GARY ~ hope you can find some higher calorie foods that may help you gain weight (how about mashed potatoes and gravy; and sweet potatoes too?).
Plus, ^prayers^ going up that the tumor has shrunk enuff for surgery; plus for young GAVIN and for your friend, JIM, too ... to all!
BTW, sent up some ^prayers^ for all our troops/soldiers around the world today, esp those from Canada and the US. May GOD bless them all; keep them safe and alert; and bring them home well to their families once again ...

My brother, Larry, who I mentioned before gets results from his scan today. He has not been feeling well and we are thinking that the toumors in his brain are growing again. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Had the mammogram yesterday morning. While sitting in waiting room with the airy gown they give us to wear (no modest there is there girls), I find out DH has to be at the orthopedic in less than an hour. So had the test done, hurried to change and rushed home to get DH and barely made it on time. His shoulder has been hurting for over a week. Think he aggrevated it when hitting baseballs at the batting cage when his DS and DGS were here from IN. Primary had checked it out but didn't thing any damage was done, but it kept getting worse. DD used to work for orthepedic and took care of him but nothing really helped. So she called and made the appointment just to be sure it was not damaged. Doc says he has arthritis in the neck and he thinks the pain is caused by that. We also realized that Tony forgot and let the nurse give his flu shot in that arm . Doc didn't say if it could cause it or not. Gave script for prednisone and pain pills and sent us home. If not better when the prednisone is gone, he will have to go in for a MRI. I pray the shoulder will get well with the meds.

TRISH ~ glad the mammogram went well. ^Prayers^ going up for your DH (TONI) that his shoulder will heal again on its own without the need for further tests/surgery, etc ...
UPDATE ~ Angie and I found out late this aftenoon that I will be back riding the chemo chair tomorrow :-( But that may not be all bad news. We didn't get details but the my doctor's assistant said the cancer is gone in the stomach (YIPEEEEEEEEE!!) but the tumor, which is on the other side of the stomach, is still there.
That is all we were told but we see the doctor next Monday and I'm sure we will find out more. So until then thank you all and FYI....
Sitting in my chemo chair with my beautiful wife beside me...interacting with fellow cancer patients...being entertained by our chemo loader...life is not all bad!

PRAYER REQUEST ~ for our Christian friend, Guy Boulet -- Just received a call from a friend of ours out west (who used to live here). He is going to have surgery to have a benign lump removed from his prostrate/bladder area. The line was in and out, so details were sketchy but he said it should go well. Am sending up prayers that it will all go smoothly without complications and recover quickly. Thanks.
