Saying prayers for everyone's needs, especially Rosebud, Gary, and Bargoo
I have a request-the pain in my arm that comes from arthritis in my neck is getting unbearable and ibuprofen doesn't work at all. My physical therapy starts on Thursday and I'm really hoping they can cause some relief quickly. It keeps waking me up at night and I'm having a really hard time finding any position to put my head to keep the pain away. Along with that, the antibiotic I have to take for a SIBO infection is causing me to be very, very tired.
Also, our DS1's grandma (his real mom's mom) passed away yesterday and they're very sad.
Then, because when it rains it pours, the people that caused DH problems at work this past fall are continuing to make trouble and seem to be actually trying to force him to get mad enough to quit or do something to get fired. He's being harassed, but isn't allowed to file a complaint to the ethics board or the union, so we don't know what to do, except that the counselors he's seen have advised that he contact an attorney.
So, I guess that was more than one request-sorry--thank you all for your prayers.
Ronni- you might also consider trying a supplement called "Curamin". I started taking it this year when arthritis symptoms in my shoulder and hands got really bad. It helps a lot. It's sold on Amazon. It's a curcumin supplement (the active ingredient from the spice Turmeric).
THANKS, FOR YOUR PRAYERS EVERYONE ~ I have been very sick with a nasty flu I caught in the hospital; I couldn't keep anything down last week. This week, thankfully I am eating well again; just had to take it slow. I had to stay in bed to build my strength up. This recovery will take a while so I appreciate prayers for all here who have this flu.
GARY ~ hope your fatigue & chills get better. Even the smallest tasks seem to tire me now -- i know this will get better with time. My family are spoiling us and taking very good care of us. My brother's on duty today and doing a great job. We have no snow here today with mild temps but they will drop for next week.
RONNI ~ sending up prayers for you issues and for your DH as well.
THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE, I knew you were still praying for me as a big surgery like this takes a while to recover from; and the walking takes a while too.
Thanks for the prayers, everyone! They and the PT are helping already! The pain is not constant down my arm the last 2 days and the therapist got approval for me to have a traction device here at home to be able to use whenever the pain gets bad
Dee-I'll look into that curcumin supplement, but must ask my gastro doc first, since I'm treating an intestinal bacterial infection right now(seems to be something that flares up from some of my MS problems-again, it never rains, but it pours, you know).
Rosebud-prayers continue. Glad you're getting over that bug. We hear it's a nasty one and almost becoming an epidemic in places. Get better, get stronger, eat as much as you can, and know that you've got many, many friends praying and thinking about you & your DH
Prayers for all the needs mentioned and ones not mentioned, too. for everyone!
Rosebud, glad to see you back and feeling better. Get over that flu bug it is nasty! Tim caught it the day after Christmas and I got it New Year's Eve. Doing better except for the cough that goes along with it.
THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS, EVERYONE ~ yes, that's one of the worst flus we've had in years -- you name it, it has it! I am feeling much better today. Been walking around a bit each day. Even had the energy to have a shower by myself today -- even that takes lots of exertion when you're sick, but it felt so good. Such a simple thing but so nice too ...
I have noticed so much improvement in my mobility and flexibility already; what a difference it is making to get rid of that huge tumor. I cannot PRAIZE GOD enough for this mighty MIRACLE -- and really, it was and is an awesome miracle. I am so very grateful!!!
Your prayers and support have carried me through as well; may GOD BLESS YOU ALL ...
