Gary I am glad your surgeon can remove the tumor and help you. You and your family will continue to be in my prayers daily. In fact, I have several friends and acquaintences going through cancer treatment right now and besides my daily prayers for all of you... when one comes to mind all of you get added prayer thoughts throughout the day. Ditto on all everyone has said.
As I think of all of us and the things we all go through, I realized how blessed we are to have a WONDERFUL LORD to lean on. Makes me sad as I wonder how people face such things when they have no Lord and Savior to lean on. I THANK GOD THAT WE ARE TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE HIM ON OUR SIDE.
I love each and everyone of you and thankful to know that you are praying for my family and me just as I do for you and yours.
A number of years ago My friend Darlene had a heart attack. She thought she was alone in her hospital room when she heard someone say "Darlene, is it OK if I pray for you?" She of course said yes, She found out later it was her doctor, one of the leading cardiologists is San Jose, Ca. She asked him later what he would have done if she said no, he said he would have stepped out of the room and prayed for her anyway, he said he prays for all his patients. My prayer is that those of us with medical issues would be fortunate enough to have a doctor like that.

I had surgery yesterday to biopsy my tumors for the 3rd and final time (I have endometrial cancer diagnosed last July, it was found by mistake in trying to find out why I couldn't get pregnant. So lucky it was found early!)
The results of the surgery won't be available until next week so my faith is definitely being tested while I wait. If it's good news, I can try and get pregnant with my first baby; if it's bad news, I have to have a hysterectomy asap as it's too dangerous to put off any longer as it means the cancer is still growing and not responding to my meds.
Any prayers that any one can offer would be most appreciated. I am going to go back and read the other posts here and will pray for all of you. I am so glad I found this thread. Thank you.

Thank you all so much. It made me cry to read your replies today as I know you all are really praying for me and it warms my heart.
I have faith in God to take care of me and to lead me in the right direction, whichever that may be. It's that darn devil that gets in my head and tries to get me to stray to bad thoughts.
Talked to my oldest son this morning and his daughter told him last night that they found a spot on her husband Ronny's lung. Will have results in a few days as to what it is. Please put Becky and Ronny in your prayers.
Also accidently called my DIL, wife of son #2, when trying to call my oldest son. But it was the Lord, I'm sure. Please pray for her as she has pinced nerves on both sides of her spine. She was so bad yesterday the Chiropracter could not treat. Hoping to have treatment today.
Trish I really "feel" for all those with back pain right now. The tumor pressing on my spine is super painful at times.

Gary, I don't know if it's something you would consider or if you have a practitioner nearby, but you might consider acupuncture to help with the pain. I do acupuncture monthly for pain control.
And you and the rest of the folks here remain in my prayers.

PRAYER REQUEST -- for a local man, MURRAY JAMES (wife Linda); he has cancer in his lungs and is getting chemo right now to shrink tumor/s. They may remove one lung and just the tumor on the other. He really needs some encouragement/strength right now. Thanks, Warriors!
