ez
Have to admit this last couple of weeks has filled my housework limits lol.

Counting
It hasn't been to bad. I am the drill Sgt and I make everyone MOVE IT MOVE IT MOVE IT lol. We clean three times a day, after each meal. The children's sister said she was going to keep this up at home. If the kids don't like cleaning all the time, they will clean up after them selfs. There is less and less cleaning to do here everyday because they know I mean business lol. My kids don't want to have children anytime soon. They complain the little ones are SOOOOOOO loud LOL

Wanted to say hello to all our new people. You have found a great thread to chat in.

Hello everyone else, as usual will keep you and yours in my prayers.

Hey Chicks!!

I'm back from my brief road trip with big DS and his girlie friend and my soon to be SIL. I'm exhausted, its been go, go, go since we left. I have to go back on Monday, and the elders called while I was gone and have decided to meet on Mon about 7pm so I'm gonna have to fly home. We had a good time. I need to get off to bed though, we have an early race in the morning and then the friends wedding and then the dinner, I'm hoping to be able to relax even though we're gonna be busy, it should be enjoyable.

Gary, glad nothing too serious in the accident and that you kept were able to get through traffic safely

Karen, thanks for the uplifting thoughts

mj, thanks for sharing of yourself, thats wonderful!

doit, hope being busy helps to keep your mind occupied so that you don't dwell on the sad issues. Gods ways are not our ways, there is no way to understand it all.

romans, I needed that, hope you get to feeling peppy.

WELCOME!! New Chicks!

Prayers for all, especially those who have requested specific prayers. I made sure I spent a lot of time praying this weekend, (not just cause I let DS drive either) I feel God working lately and I know its cause I've been on my knees a lot.

Check back this weekend if I get a chance. Trish

OH YEAH, I was so happy I ran almost 4 miles yesterday while in Nashville, and it felt great I may be making progress after all.

Rikki, So glad you can join us.

Countingdown, Prayers for your son and your friend. May God give you patience and strength.

Gary, How awful to witness such a thing. Thankfully no one was killed. I am behind on hours, but my miles aren't too bad. It's the time of season when there are far more games than practices. Plus, DD has been taking "Middle School U" classes on campus 30 miles away...I drove 4 girls there each day this week. Thankfully, another father was willing to pick them up. It really ate into my time though. DH is sort of adjusting, but I think he's more enduring it all until another opening gets posted with better hours. He will adjust better during August when the baseball season is over and we can all have more regular time together. Thank you for thinking of our family.

Rosebud, I'm sorry to hear of your sister's illness. My mother had a stroke 3 years ago. It is a very scarey time for all. It sounds too as though your rash has turned to an ugly sore. Be careful to not get an infection. My prayers are with you and your sister both.

maryea, our relationship with the Lord is like any other. We must keep in touch to be close. Hang in there. Thankfully, He is very forgiving and always accepts us back.

doitforme, I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Fashionlover, Welcome.

Well it took me two posts to get caught up. Tomorrow is more baseball but none of my children are playing. We're going to see the LaCrosse Loggers my all time favorite minor league team. I just love the atmosphere and fun at their park. It's an end of the season fun time for the summer rec so we will have close to 100 people from our little town all sitting together. It really is a fun time.
On a sadder note I would like to ask you to keep my friend Kim in your prayers. She had been battling ovarian cancer and now the family has received word of it spreading to other areas. Kim got a rare viral infection when she was 4 years old that left her mentally disabled. She is now almost 50 and doesn't understand the severity of her disease. She has been a huge blessing to our church over the years. She is our caller and makes sure to remind everyone on commitees when the meetings are or asks people to make cakes for funerals, whatever need arises...she literally has hundreds of telephone numbers memorized. Over the years I have become very close with her and we talk every day. Whatever the occasion she remembers to send a card. She really is one of God's angels on earth. Please help me ask God to strengthen her and all of us who love her.

THANKS TO EVERYONE who is praying for my sister and I: we really appreciate it a lot. Sometimes, it is strange how we go through so many of the same things. At the time, we may wonder why: but then later on we find out that someone else needs our support to help them get through some scary experiences. You see, GOD knew!

GOD has been very gracious to me and brought me through these health struggles. I was very frightened too: so I would read positive, uplifting scriptures aloud, as well as promises from GOD's Word, and that helped me tremendously, like Isaiah 41:10 ...

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy GOD: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

And Jeremiah 30:17 ~ "For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of all thy wounds, saith the Lord."

Dear SUE ~ will send up prayers for JIM (your BIL's Dad) for comfort and peace; and for the whole family as well.

TO FASHIONLOVER, RIKKI, AND TACKLENURSE ~ this is a great place for support and prayers ...

FASHIONLOVER ~ you can go into any forum and post on any thread that interests you; just jump in like you did here!

MARYEA ~ drop back in anytime. I have the same issue as you: my meals are really good, but I am a muncher for sure, so I am praying for strength and wisdom to find better snack solutions too.

HELLO TO EVERYONE ELSE HERE TOO!!!

Hope you all have a great weekend, your fellow encourager ROSEBUD ^^PRAYERS^^ going up for all ...

MJ....I love to hear stories like that. Praying in tongues or your prayer language as I like to call it, is so important. the Word says that even the devil cannot understand you. I like to think of it as praying God's perfect will. sometimes we just don't know what to pray. it brings me so close to the Lord. Amazing story!

Mary....I completely understand and I am afraid that I fall victim too. Keep on course!! Prayers for all!

Here is a video of the damage of that accident I saw the other morning and then sat 4 hours in traffic on the way home instead of 1/2 hour! It totally surprises me that no one was hurt...seriously anyway.

Wow Gary. That was some video. Now I know why I pray for my DH when he's on the road. Thank God no one was badly hurt.

We've been pretty busy around here. With building our garage, work issues and the kids moving we're on the go a lot. The kids are leaving on Wednesday. We're going to miss them so much. They are really excited about the move and it will be a great thing for them so I am really happy for them.

Work has been busy with people on holidays. Staff is still dealing with the issues we had in June. There is some healing but still a lot of anger.

Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I'm still here and praying even though I'm not posting as much as I should.

Have a super weekend!

Thank you for the encouraging words. The last couple days I've done better but today was weigh-in day and it was hard to see I've gained 2 lbs instead of losing. Oh well, I will keep trying and I do know that when I stay close to the Lord in Bible reading and prayer I do better at keeping away from the snacking so that is my goal to always do that. I have had some wonderful times communing with the Lord too.

Wanted to tell you all about an answer to prayer. I have four children and none of them are living for the Lord. None of them have even been going to church. My oldest is 43 so I've been praying for them for a lot of years! Sometimes it gets very discouraging as I never see any evidence of change and usually things just seem to be getting worse! I have had a SENSE that God is at work in their lives but no evidence, you know? Recently I have felt so desparate for some tiny bit of evidence and have been asking God to show me just some little sign of things happening. After praying for this for a week or less, my youngest dd called me and while we were talking she told me that she and her dh and small child have been going to church!! Her dh has only gone once so far but she has gone with the little one on her own and her dh has told her he will start going. I'm not sure how many times they have gone or even what kind of church it is but hopefully she has had enough training that she will know if it is really far off the mark of God's Word. She was raised going to church as were they all.

I felt so humbled and awed about this! The song we sing at church..."who am I that Thou are mindful of me?..that You hear me when I call? " has been going through my head ever since! God loves us SO much and is so very gracious! If we just draw near to Him and spend time with Him, it is amazing what He will do for us!

If any of you have time, I would appreciate it if you would join me in praying for my kids. I really want to see them all saved. Thanks.

Just wanted to share this as it just shows how much God cares about us. He wants to answer our prayers. I notice when I stay close and spend more time communing with Him, I have more answers to my prayers. As I read the Word it causes me to trust Him more.

HI GALS ~

Taking a few minutes while I watch the UFC fights on TV. Angie has yoga training for another couple of hours tonight.

I spent most of the day helping my brother move some stuff into her first apartment. She will be living down close to where my daughter and son in law live. Although I don't see her all that much she has been living across the street from me for about 3 years. That was nice being able to chat with her as she went off to school or work.

Tomorrow we are having a celebration for our 25th Anniversary in our sanctuary. My son was baptised in our old one and my daughter in "this" new one 25 years ago! Memories! The groundbreaking is just about to begin on the new community building ~ excited! Angie should have her yoga license by the time we open!

MARY ~That's cool about your daughter and her husband, prayers they continue to go. We can pray and we can set examples but when it gets right down to it we have a personal relationship with our Lord.

WILMA ~I think the reason it hit me hard Wilma was that I saw it right after it happened...blazing fire...then several hours later...the charred vehicles. I do a lot of driving too...so many things can happen so quickly. Glad work is better but sorry you are missing the kids already...I can relate!

CD ~

RONNI ~

KAREN ~

ROMANS ~Praying for your energy.

ROSEBUD ~Continued prayers for your sister Prayers for your ankle

KRISTI ~Prayers for Kim and for those that love her! Have a great time at the game. We have a couple of minor league teams around here, our church goes to one game a year in August. Middle School U... Angie teaches middle school...rough

TRISH ~Great job on the 4 miler Fingers crossed for the church situation. You need a break!

SHY ~ house guests still there?

AUNT SUE ~Wow you are busy! have fun at the wedding and teen coffee. Continued prayers for your BIL!

ERIN ~

RIKKI ~

MJ ~Our Lord has given me the gift of tongues but I do know he reaches out to all of us in different ways through different situations. Prayers for your freedom!

LINDA ~

Well have a great SUNDAY everyone! Better go figure something out to cook Angie and I for dinner

Angie and I just got home from the celebration of the 25th year of our sanctuary. It was cool seeing pictures of our old church, which is now our meeting hall ~ which will be torn down in a week or so for the new building ~ and seeing pictures of where we are now when it was under construction.

There was a list of numbers of baptisms ~ funerals ~ etc.

Angie and I have been a part of so many of these ~

We are blessed!

I have been here over 25 years....27 I think ~ same Pastor....some have had the same Pastor and been here over 40 years! Now that's saying something!

Having our monthly family dinner here today ~ daughter and son in law hosting it. Should be fun!

May He give all of an abundance of blessings today ~

HELLO EVERYONE ~ we've been having a mixed bag of sun and rain for yesterday and today, but I like the cooler temps. Not much going on here, just having a very restful weekend trying to heal up my ankle. Did some thinning and such of my gardens; did puzzles and hobbies this afternoon.

HI GARY ~ hope you have a great family dinner today as usual. Our boy NIKO is doing great; he is growing and much more disciplined as he is getting older. He's got a very sweet personality and learns very quickly; he is a man's dog for sure and him and DH are real buddies now ...

HELLO TO EVERYONE ELSE ~ hope you all are having a great weekend!!!

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS ~ my ankle seems to be healing; not as red or swollen as it was. Take good care, your fellow encourager ROSEBUD^^PRAYERS^^ continue for all ...

Hello Everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! I finally pushed through my fear of being stalked by wolves, and walked around our block today! The house we lived in before when I was walking and had just Ginger at the time, I was walking daily and really enjoyed it. Now I was walking on paved roads so I wasn't out in the woods or anything. I felt something like there was something following me and when I turned around there was a HUGE wolf! Now I know he was thinking,Yummy! Dinner and dessert!! Some people did stop in a car and got between me and the wolf but that wasn't going to stop him... they had to turn their car around 3 different times before they got him running in a different direction! Needless to say, I walked home and then became very scared to try it again! But today, I just said to myself it is a nice day and I put Ginger and Sissy in their stroller, fixed a spray bottle of amonia, (in case we met up with some dogs) and started walking. Now our block is 1.6 miles long, up hills and down and all on dirt roads! But I made it and I enjoyed it! And I did it in 38 minutes. And NO I didn't need to use my amonia!! So I am really looking forward to doing this more often now! I just had to share that with you tonight.

Enjoy your evening.
