The effort helps you lose SOME weight, rather than if you DIDN't exercise at ALL and lose NO weight

I have NOOOO idea what I’ll weigh on the scale next week monday, but I can say already I’m noticing I’m getting enough stamina to last through my cardio workout the last several days by eating a couple hundred calories more (*1,500 calories now on average for this week at the suggestion of my trainer)
thursday’s workout session:
* 55 minutes on the elliptical machine (a pretty good workout if I dare say so, lol
)
* 5 minutes speed walking
* abs pilates dvd
