Hello, I was very concerned by your post (I am a nurse), There are very few things that make stool black that arent a sign of something wrong. Do you take iron? Did you take a large amount of Pepto Bismol to deal with the diarrhea? if the answer is no to either of these you need to get checked out at the doctor pretty soon because black stool can mean blood in the stool (which I doubt was brought on by the Fullbar so there could be an underlying health problem). Any way, I hope everything is okay! Jolene

Default Full bar, day 17 YES

They are still working. I am not hungry. I am almost afraid to believe this is happening. I have lost four inches from my stomach in just over 2 weeks. I just ordered six boxes of bars from All Star Health, $15.60 per box, $1 box shipping. I am committed to doing this for the next six weeks and then weighing myself. Wish me luck.

Hello. I'm new here. I have just finished my first week using FullBars. I'm down 8 lbs. No hunger. Little thoughts of food... I also did a lot of praying. The two together can't go wrong!

I have committed to doing this for three months. My committment was made to my DH so I will do my best to stick to it. I got into FullBars because of the TV ad. My younger sister had weight loss surgery in October, and she has lost almost 100 lbs. My insurance won't pay for that surgery, and I certainly don't have the cash to pay for it. This seemed like it was worth a try.

I am happy to have found this site so I can find some support when I need it.
Thanks to all the positive posters!

I tried full bar and wasn't too impressed. They are 160-180 calories. I ate one before lunch. I was still hungry for lunch. I did this 2 days in a row. For some reason I was actually hungrier on those 2 days. Overall, eating the full bar did not reduce my daily caloric intake because the bars are really a high calorie snack ( to me). I eat less calories overall in a day eating an apple or a cheese stick ( 70-80 calories) for a snack b4 meals--and they're a heck of a lot cheaper! I was disappointed, I wanted the full bar to work for me.

Today was a good day for me and my Full Bars. I find that they help me. Of course, it could be that I have so much too lose that I want them to work! The bars are the only thing I've eaten between meals, which for me is a miracle! I have always been a grazer!

Smile Going to try FullBar

I am new to this board. I really have a problem with portion control. I workout religiously but I cannot keep off these 20lbs, I am up and down. I am going to buy the FB today and see what happens. I really believe between this and the other tips I've received from this board, FIBER, APPLES etc. this may be the ticket. I will let you know. Thanks

Good luck, gdylan1. I have used FullBars for 12 days and I'm down 12 lbs! Be sure you drink the water with it, and try not to wait more than the 30 recommended minutes to eat. I have committed to 3 months on Full Bars. I know this works for me. And whatever works, right?

Hi. I notice that a lot of people have tied FB, but havent heard fom many who have been on them for very long or had any significant weight loss.

I read all 16 pages looking for promised reports back, but few people did -- what happened to Eric -- I was looking forward to the results of him being the guinie pig.

Has anyone had a significant weight loss with FB?

I have tried FB. I thoght the taste was okay, but I couldn't use them because I'm diabetic and they made my BS go way too high.

I have best results with low carb, lots of water, high protein and hot soup. I like egg drop and make it often.

Thanks to all for good and honest info.

I agree with tykeisom, I have just read all 16 pages and there are no long term updates. What did happen to eric and marbleflys?

I have ordered some fullbars to try.

Hi All,
I am new to this site and also just read all 16 pages about the FullBar after seeing the commercial. I am interested in long-term results because loosing weight is great using "quick fixes" but it isn't worth if the end result is even more weight gain than whe you started :-( Hope to hear from Eric or marbleflys again...

You might check out the fullbar website and watch the videos. I did. I found them very supportive.

Hmmm... Sorry, but I would much rather use the 180 calories eating a plate full of vegetables. You can buy a lot of veggies for $2 compared to one bar.

Default Fullbar- not bad

I decided to try Fullbar. I really only need to lose about 10lbs but it has been very hard. I drop 3-5lbs then go right back up. For me it is definately portion control. I love big portions & I CAN eat them.
I bought 3 Fullbars yesterday 9/14/09 at CVS where they were buy 2 get 1 free... $1.99/ea. Last night I had the chocolate one before dinner with water. I only ended up eating a turkey & cheese sandwich as I never did cook but that was it for me for the night. I was full- no need to snack. Today I had an apple before lunch with water. I had the peanut butter fullbar before dinner with water. I could barely get down my dinner which consisted of a small piece of ham, less than a 1/4 cup of rice, & broccoli. As I sit here I am stuffed... I have eaten really great these last two days & plan to continue. As for the bars themselves... I don't mind the taste or consistancy because I have always like puffed wheat. I did like the chocolate better than the peanut butter though. CVS only carries those two flavors so I guess I will have to go elsewhere to try others. I leave for the Bahamas in 18 days so I am hoping to just lose a few pounds before I go. I'll keep you all posted!

Saw,Take me with you on your trip!!!

Really, I wanted to say thanks for your post. I have been on FullBars for about a month, and I am losing weight. I tried the "big plate of salad" as someone suggested, but that didn't do it for me. I guess if it works, just do it!

I lost 12 lbs. in August, and I'll know how I did at the end of September. I only weigh monthly because that works for me. The miracle is that I am very seldom hungry.

Have fun on your trip!

So here's a tip... don't go to Olive Garden after eating fullbar!!!
Last night I had a bar with a glass of water & preceeded to go to OG for dinner. Unfortunately for me, I was still able to eat 3 pieces of bruschetta, a salad, 1/2 of my chicken parm entree, & I managed to down 2 yummy breadsticks.
I was glad I could only eat 1/2 of my entree but I do wish I only ate one breadstick but I just love them so much!
So anyway I will eat really well today & the rest of the week & we'll see what happens.
