Hi again, back to post some more as I had to run off earlier. The roads were clear despite the heavy storm and I went out of town to do my errands and my grocery shopping! So glad I got it done and don't have to do it tomorrow. We are due for a real cold spell for a couple of days starting this evening. There were things I needed for the house and I got stuff for the meal plans for a few days as well and desserts for daddy tomorrow when the family may come to visit at ma's. Nooo, I have vowed that I will not touch any of it, hold me to it ladies, I will post tomorrow night after it and or the next morning to let you know and stay accountable.
Tonight we are taking mom and dad for dinner. I am having the lemon rosemary chicken breast with broccoli and baked potato with sour cream and knowing me, 2 glasses of white wine! yes I know! lol FOr some reason though this dinner always seems to work wonderful for me.
I got some fresh thin 'trim chicken fromt he deli, my romaine greens and tomatoes and cukes etc for my salads the next few days. Lunch is pretty much a no brainer for me as I have mentioned before I usually have a few h.b eggs alone or in a salad or salad with lean meats. The daytime is never a problem for me, at least his not time of year. When it is summer or if I attend a function then it may be more challenging.
sgregg, thanks again for the words of encouragement. I feel good to be back on track. Regarding the painting, I hope that you don't get paint all over yourself like I did! LOL I have a painting outfit I wear but I got some on my h and and wrist. I have long hair but put it up and at least got none on that this time! hahaha It can be tiring but is so rewarding when you see the results.
GettinFit, it's going to be so cold here the next few days! 20's during the day and single digits at night. I am in much better spirits though because I know that this will all be over soon. The sun is high in the sky and with the time change next week and all....I just know it well get nice suddenly as it usually does. All the more reason for me to be diligent! One day it will be 30 and then bam 70! I want to walk the beach, it's my favorite thing (and boating will come soon). I hope you had , and have, a wonderful Monday too! Those lbs that sneak back quickly go away quickly too as long as we go right back to it. We can do this! One step at a time.
We are going into Boston Wednesay for an appt. Those appt.s can be stressful but I will be mindful of dinner and if we getout late and starving (which is sometimes the case) to go where we can get a healthy meal. That is 2 days away though sooooooo for now the focus is on TODAY! I must always remind myself just focus on the day.
I do get down about the exercise thing though......I see a big difference since I stopped my LS tapes and all of my summer activity ( I was very active). It really doesn't take long, getting sullen over these types of things sure doesn't help and I know how important it is to remain positive. I must remind myself that I can start and once I do those muscles and tone come back quickly usually! Right now as long as DH is ok and we are ok, one step at a time......with that being said back on to today! I wish you guys a super night and will check back soon. Hugs, weekend

HI ladies , hugs. Day 4 went well and yes it counts me to count days this way. It's not over yet but then again nothing to cheat on! I said no choc. cake to bring home! LOL that would be a disaster for me. I hope that you guys had a great day , sleep well, and wake up to anew good day tomorrow.

It went well tonight, there were 7 of us at the table and a few cakes. I did not touch anything!
So far so good, tired now and heading to lay on the couch a bit before bed. Long day tomorrow and I want to feel rested and be alert. I will touch base again when I can. I hope you are both having a wonderful night and if not remember that tomorrow is a new day for us all! Hugs, weekend

Nine weeks testing starts today at the school where I teach. I’m hoping to use the down time to organize/clean my classroom.
The scale isn’t moving the direction that I want it to go.
I ate a bit much last night but I ate Keto approved foods. So I know that’s one reason I’m up a little. It isn’t much. But I sure long to see 215 again...I’d love to see it go ahead and drop below that.
I’m going to start walking in the afternoons with one of my co-workers. Starting today.

sgregg: I am with you on needing to post daily. These days are going by so fast and I have so much going on during the day that I forget to post. I am really going to try and post every day like I did in Jan. That was the best month I'd had in a long time. I do hope you see 215 real soon. You are doing a great job with your weight loss plan.

Yesterday was so so for me. We had Chick-Fil-A Mini's at the office and I could not resist. 4 was 11 Points but I ended up over doing it and used up all my daily Points for them. I had them for lunch and breakfast and snack. I had a low Point Lean Cuisine for dinner. All the sodium from the Chick-Fil-A has me so bloated today so I will be drinking lots of water and I am back to being 100% OP. My sister joined WW last Friday after seeing my success so I MUST pull it together and be the good role model for her.
I am really very tired but wanted to come in and post. I wa snice to come in and get your messages. Yes, we went into Boston today and yes it was stressful, it is just such a long day. I don't know how DH does it getting up at 6 and driving to N.h then coming home to drive to Boston. WE left the house at one and got home at 7:30 and I felt dead tired! On a positive note, the swelling of the optic nerve is down so that is very good news!
We went to dinner after and I was good and got the chicken breast, broccoli and baked poatato. Dh's burger and fries looked divine but I knew it would be too heavy for me and I just can't afford that right now. My paln went off well as planeed and another successful day! TOmorrow is a new day and I am so tired I can't even think to post tomorrow's plan right now, I will check back tomorrow.
sgregg, thanks for the support, it means a lot! As far as the scale goes, keep at it! Just focus on one day at a time, omg it can be so challenging sometimes. THat is so awesome that you got a co worker to walk with you! I was up at one point and got right back to it, it will go down quick so just keep plugging away! It is still erribly cold here but I want to start walking as well. I hope that we can inspire each other to do so.
GettinFit, thanks too for the encouragement! Dear lord, you helped me so much during that flu I had most of January. I too do much better when keeping up with posting. I just feel more accountable. Like tonight for example, I said to DH ohhhhhhh I want a burger but told the ladies I would eat healhty LOL that is just one small example. It helps so much! Iknewww that would kill me so I stuck to my regular healthy meal and glad to report that that is what I had! So far so good! Some days feel hard but when I make it through I feel so good and much better the next day.
I do need to get some rest, it was a long day. I also need to get to the market again to get my meal plans in place. Keep up the good work ladies, lest we not forget our month is still young! WE have tomorrow so focusing on that right now and will post tomorrow as to my day.

I'm doing okay with my eating but I still am not back in the exercise zone. I know once the weather gets a little warmer I will be motivated to get out. I have my WW meeting this morning and the scale will be up but I am going to face the music and weigh in. I still haven't gotten rid of the gain from the Chick-Fil-A. I haven't been drinking much water either. I need to regroup and get back to doing everything that I need to be doing to be successful.
Hi ladies TGIF and I hope that you are both having a great weekend and start to the weekend.
Last night went great until after I logged, I caved in and had dessert! lol so much for skipping it the other night, I made up for it big time. Needless to say, I went right back to it today and it's been a good OP day. It was a great first week overall with the exception of that and I didn't beat myself up over it too much as that has never worked for me in the past. Onward to a new day! So today I am thinking of it as day one again, whatever works! It was a very busy day and I got a lot accomplished in preparation for the weekend.
GettinFit, thanks so much on all counts! Good for you for doing you WW meeting today, facing the music isn't always fun but sometimes it helps us and I know how much those meetings help you. Sounds like you have some nice goals there and I would like to join you on the water wagon too! I have been slipping on that and it really helps. The month is still young and there is so much we can accomplish, let's keep it going! I will be busy painting this weekend and may the pc unplugged a day or two but it s houldn't take too long and I will post as soon as I can. I am wishing us all a good and successful day tomorrow.

Winding down for the nigh, I did plenty for today. Getting my mindset ready for tomorrow and on another OP day and yes I still have to go the market! I really have to! WIth the weekends schedule it will be tough but I will fit it in, I just can't let the meal plans go array as it is so important.
Gettinfit, don't get too down on yourself. I'm sure the sunshine will make you want to get out and pick things back up. You got this! We all go through our slumps.
Boater, maybe you could find yourself some dessert options that are on plan for you. Since I'm doing low-carb, high-fat (LCHF), I have made fat bombs. I will eat one or two after dinner sometimes, just to satisfy my sweet tooth or chocolate craving. I don't have them often, but they are there if I feel like I want something extra. And they help me stay on plan all the time. What plan are you doing? Maybe I could help you with some ideas?
Spring Break week for us. so yay! DH and I are going to try our hands at installing new flooring in our living room and kitchen while I'm off work. I painted the kitchen yesterday, and I am super pleased with the results. I need to do some more trim work around the cabinets before it is complete. I am taking today off to rest.
I was super surprised by the scale this morning! I was down yesterday morning which I was so happy to see. I painted all day yesterday morning, and then I was down even more this morning! New low for me! I'm almost to the 200s! Something else that I noticed is I am not sore at all from doing all that painting. Usually my shoulders and neck would be sore, but I guess since LCHF helps with inflammation, it also helps with muscle soreness? Now, if I only I can keep moving down or not go any higher...
DH and his friend are having a guys-night-out tonight. So, we will hopefully get back on improving our house Tuesday.
Hi everyone I hope that you are are having a good week. We just plugged in my pc back to this spot! The room is all done except for 2 panels which I will paint tomorrow as I need the spackle to dry. After this, I will be going upstairs to paint a whole unit but one step at a time.
sgregg, I don't have a sweet tooth, I really don't. People just
don't believe me when I tell them that but I hate the taste of sugar and hate many sweets! Yes, I do like chocolate and occasionally get a craving (especially after the stupid commercials , lol) but aside form that desserts were never my ailment. I LOVE carbs! As far as the fat bombs they sound good, not like something I can have right now but sureee I would love to change ideas sometime. IT's always nice to get new ideas here. I am not on any particular plan really. I somewhat follow the south beach diet as it is up my avenue. I don't care for red meat much and I am watching my sugar, salt, and fat intake. Most definitely don't do well with certain carbs or starches. I love vegetables and broccoli and salads agree with me. That is awesome on getting your kitchen painted! It is so rewarding to see the final results. Oh my goodness and yes, congrats on your new low and weight loss!
GettinFIt, hey girl! How are you doing? We still have 21 days left to the month, let's keep truckin! I so hear you on the eating and exercise thing but with me I seem to need to start on one and nail it and then add the other, but that's just me! You have been doing phenomenal. Find what works best for you and keep at it! Forget the chic a fil ting, it's history now. WE are starting a new day! We have to nail this! The weekend has been pretty good, except for that one night whichi I have put behind me! Onward and downward we go!

Hi ladies Quick check in for now, things have been super busy.
If you know of any good flavored seltzer water with not much sugar and not too sweet please let me know! I will do a seach too when I have time. I am rethinking my meal plan at this point but more on that later.
I finished the room! I finished some paperwork and ads I had to do today and then did the sanding and finished the painting in here! Thank god! By this weekend I want to wash the carpet and move everything back in place. I had the place looking golden a few days ago and now it's a mess already so I want to get everything back in order. I am pleased with what I accomplished though for today.
Onto another note! The wonderful joys of the scale! LOL I have been doing well all month except for that stupid cake one night! I refrained from going on the scale as for me that doesn't benefit me ( as it may for some people), my weight can fluctuate so much in just one given day! So anyways, I was doing good and felt lighter so decided to weigh and lo and behold, same freaking number! LOL Oh boy, was I aggravated this morning! I don't get it, I know my body and this soon in (the 6 week mark or so) I usually drop well doing what I am doing but realize maybe my body is changing. I was bummed for sure but didn't let it derail me this time. I mean, I have one of two options! I either hold my h ands up in the air and say I give up (heck no) or keep going. I opted to keep going, I don't have a choice. Dh said keep at it , it will come off suddenly..maybe I am retaining fluids. SO that is it, I just don't want to give up and wont!

I am doing okay, DH is okay,thank god! His vision seems to have stabilized, I mean...well we are working on a second opinion at Mass General.
Here, I was happy last night to get all this done (painting and what not). As for the program , it's going well but I am not supposed to skip meals! OMAD is not for me! YEs yes I know it works great for some people and I am not knocking it but seems that I need to be sure to eat a lunch (as light as it may be) so I am working to make sure to b e on a schedule. Dh's cholesterol was high and given a few things, I am thinking to alter our plans somewhat. IDN,i am tired but I will work it out! Happy hump day and please let's keep it going!
I promise to catch up on posts today. I've been MIA this week because I was struggling BIG time. I've had a lot going on at work and haven't been sleeping which has added to not staying on track. The time change really messed with my body this time. Last night I finally got some sleep and today I went to my WW meeting and had a talk with my counselor and that really helped. So far today I've been pretty on track. I also need to work harder at exercise this coming week.
