Okay---I have caved. Back in the loop. After a horrendous six weeks of health and humidity issues that kept me from running, I am back in the challenge and back on track. Shoulda posted my weight from two days ago proir to the BBQ Dern water weight. Anyways, commited and determined. Won't hit the goal I set for myself, but back in full force now that my health has improved a bit

2fat2jump - Thank you very much, there are so many people who motivate and inspire me here I am glad to be able to give a little bit of that motivation back!

zoesmom - Glad to see you back!

vdh2102 - I found that I am much more satisfied and stay fuller longer when I do lower carb options as well. I don't necessarily follow a low carb diet but it just seems that giving up a lot of the empty processed type carbs has really helped me out!

I started this challenge out at 276.8 with a goal to get to 245 by losing 31.8 lbs.. as of today I've lost 29.8 since the start of this challenge.. only 2 lbs away from goal.

WB, Zoesmom!

Vdh- yay for things moving again! Hopefully that'll become a trend for the rest of this challenge! As for the loose skin, strength training/time/loofahing is supposed to help but of course, every body is different.

OnlyBelieve- Wow! That is awesome! You've totally kicked butt! So proud of you!

SuzukiGirl- 6lbs to go?! Whoo-hoo! How exciting! Keep up the awesome work.

Jessicado- You've also done freaking awesome for this challenge! Enjoy yourself on your vacation!!!

Back under 160 (159.8) today, yay! I am so glad the eating out and buffets over the weekend in Branson didn't kill me! Back to work! I have been doing physical therapy for the knee for the last 2 weeks and it has been helping but it still hurts somewhat if I overdo it like walk all day. I have one more PT session tomorrow, either I go get a MRI to check things out or get a couple more PT sessions... We'll see.

Okay, here is the picture of the tattoo taken the next day after getting it. Tomorrow evening will be one week.



I will be uploading the two Top 25 lbs lost and weight % lost lists on Monday to give everyone more time to put their weight in. Can't wait!!!

Amandie: Your tattoo looks delicious, haha. That would make me hungry! Congrats on being back under 160!

Jessicado: Congratulations on another great week! You've been working so hard and it seems like you've totally surpassed your own expectations for yourself, which is such an inspiring thing for the rest of us to witness. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say I'm really proud of you. I hope you have a great vacation-- you deserve it!

OnlyBelieve: That is so awesome that you've made it so close to your goal already with almost two months to spare! You should feel really proud of yourself-- it takes a lot of guts and dedication to see a weight loss plan through all the way to goal. You rock.

SuzukiGirl: Woohoo!!! It must feel so great to be so close to a "decade" you haven't seen in such a long time. That's a really big milestone, and hopefully one of many to come I bet that you really can make it to onederland by Christmas if you put the pedal to the metal!

Zoesmom: I'm glad you're back in the game! We all have ins and outs but all that matters is that you keep sticking with it- you go girl!

GREAT WORK !!!!

i seem to have lost my motivation the last 3 or 4 weeks. ive had soooo much stuff going on this summer. BUT i'm 9ish lbs from the goal i set for halloween. so i hoping i can still make it. these damn plateaus make it so tough thou lol

Haven't been on the site for a while, but I haven't stopped my journey! 317 as of yesterday at the doc's office. I was really surprised, because just a week before I was 321. But I weighed myself when I got home as well and it was 317. So excited. Only 18 more pounds to go until my first and probably most important goal.

Default 4th of July Challenge to Halloween

Well, wedding is over and with the rehersal dinner, the wedding and the brunch the next day I am only up 2.4 which is great. Had relatives from the states up and with all the eating and being off my schedule it was hard. Back on plan and want to lose ten lbs by Halloween. Wish me luck.

Whoo-hoo! Both of the top 25'ers #2 are up! Many congratulations to who made the list!! I'm getting serious now, I don't know if I can hit 149 but 155 and under would be absolutely divine.

After this challenge is over, I've been thinking about ditching the scale (or just weigh once a month) once I hit 150. I'm not in a hurry to see 135 if I ever go that low. I want to focus on fitness and changing my body.

Ahhh, halloween costumes! No idea if there's gonna be a party for me to be able tonwear a costume, heck I'll throw one just so I can! Gonna browse pinterest for a tad slutty DIY zombie nurse (think silent hill) or something like that.
