184.2 this morning!!!! I am reaaaaally hoping to have an opportunity to be good for the next few days, I haven't decided if I want to weigh before my work trip, or after.
you know what's hard?
changing nutritional requirements by life situations.
injured back? most caloric bang for the buck is white carbs/sugar (so less quantity of food)- white carbs and sugar provide the most efficient energy - quick release because they shoot up the blood sugar, so that i can do stuff.
whereas generally, i am very physically active- so i eat few carbs lots of protein. since i'm not very active right now, i haven't needed much protein.
I have put up two Top 25 for total lbs lost and total % lost. Congrats to the top 25!!!
I'm up right now from drinking and eating a bit too much on Saturday, I know it's just water weight so I am not going to stress out over that. Still staying on plan! Just need to get more water in me.
I hope you all had a great weekend! Let's make this an awesome week!
I'm currently in route home from a trip to Hershey, PA and and nervous about what the scale will say but at the same time I know that I walked my butt off all weekend! Hopefully worst case scenario is staying the same. Yes, I ate a philly cheese steak in Philly but I also walked 2 miles each way getting to it.
KellinaKatrina- Oooh, philly cheesesteak! :drools: I personally wouldn't worry about the scale a few days after you get back to "flush" out the sodium from whatever you ate over there. Just a thought. WTG on your 4 mile trek!

Those top 25 lists are neat! Man you've spent a lot of time on this!!
Thank you!
I just joined, this challenge seems really fun! I hope I filled the spread sheet out correctly, it's my first challenge! I've been stalling because I've fell of plan the last few months (been maintaining, however), and I'm getting back on the wagon and hoping this can help motivate me, as it seems like a fun goal to reach for!

Thanks amandie! Didn't wait because I have no patience BUT for the first time in my adult life I saw 179! Down 2 lbs and in the 170s! Just have to stay there. I'm so excited!
Sofie- Maybe try to keep that 183 in mind during your business trip? But you know you can and WILL get back to that weight afterwards!
Samantha- to the challenge! Yup, you did it right!
KellinaKatrina- Whoo-hoo for 170s!! That is awesome!
ETA- lol, forgot to talk about me for a bit! 160.8 this am! .2 away from my recent lowest! So freaking close to the 150s, whewwww! I gotta be uber ultra good this week!
Me, I've finally got my first 1-pound loss for this challenge. I'm on a long journey, but this is a sort-of-new low for me, too--the last time I saw 270 was in 2000, when I moved to my current job. A few more pounds and I'll be at a 20-year low.
Hiya ladies...sorry I haven't been on very much. The baby is finally sleeping a little better and only waking up every 2-3 hours, so I am finally starting to not feel like a zombie. The past few weeks have been rough, lol. I can feel a tooth popping through on top, so I think that is the culprit. I just hope this is over soon and she goes back to her old schedule of 7-8 hours!
I am proud to say though even though I've been exhausted, I've still managed to work out most days. Scale is down a pound this week, which is actually slow for me, but I'll take it! I'm so close to the 170s I am freaking out, ha ha. I think surpassing my goals has put me into shock and I don't really know what to do. 199 and a size 14 was my goal for the longest time -- I never really though beyond that. And now I'm in size 12's and almost 20 pounds lighter than my original goal....crazy! So I guess I'm not sweating that my loss is slowing down too much. I am also too tired to really care so that may be it as well, ha ha.
Again, too pooped for personals -- but congrats on the losses everyone! And Amandie -- come on girl, you are so close!!! I can't wait to see you hit the 150s, lol. And KellinaKatrina -- congrats on the 170s! Can't wait to join you And lastly Vortex VW -- WTG. The hardest part is starting, so pretty soon that one pound is going to be joined by many. Feels so good to do something you haven't done in 20 years!!!
Yesterday was my first day back at the gym in about a week, but I ate really awfully. Bad food + bad portions + no calorie counting at all.
My mind just wasn't in it, so I guess I needed a little break.
I'm bad to eating "normally" now.
In two days, on my birthday, I'm going to Olive Garden for the sole purpose of having tiramisu as my birthday dessert. I'll complement it with one of their lighter lunch choices. This is also going to be after a group of friends and I go ice skating (I really, really wanted to ice skate for my birthday because I haven't gone in years). I'll probably be clutching the wall the whole time, but it should be fun nonetheless. And burn calories as well, so I'll feel no guilt for the tiramisu.
It sucks to see the scale number fluctuate or not move at all when I weigh in every other day or weekly, so I've decided to just weigh myself on the first of ever month. That way there will at least be a little loss if not the whole ten pounds I'd like to see.
