And THAT would be why I am not posting and doing personals this time around

I have refused to weigh the past two weeks do to medications I suddenly have to take causing a weight increase...and I refuse to weigh next week too as we will be on vacation....but I'll start again on the 16th. until then, you'll see nothing but notations that I am on a scale break. I'll be back...just not yet

Kudos to everyone going down. Hang in there for the ones who are not. I know your pain

Just got past my TOM and lost a little! (from 128 to 130 back down to 127). I've started jogging/weights in the last few weeks and weirdly, my appetite has vanished. I'm eating just because I know I HAVE to eat, but it's almost like I can't taste anything, so I don't crave anything. Normally, I'd be ECSTATIC about this, but now that it's actually happened, I realized how much enjoyment food gave me. I hope whatever this thing is passes soon.

On the other note, I'm traveling for 4 weeks, and I ALWAYS gain weight during my travels (can you say extended mental vacation much)? I'm hoping to up my losses before I start traveling to offset whatever I may gain on my trip. With my appetite like this, it shouldn't be hard lol.

It's really motivating to see everyone's weigh in's. It made me realize that not every week has to be a lower number. Sometimes, you'll have a high week, and that's OK, because it's usually followed by a lower week.

Good luck on all your weigh-ins today!

With losing so much last week (had food poisoning so didn't eat much) and camping this week, my goal is to stay the same weight (and be ok with it)

Gosh, stimkovs. Hoping you have an okay day at work and that the dr. appt today goes awesomely so you can get to feeling better ASAP!

WTG, Suzukigirl and 2F2J!!! Amazing!

Zoesmom- It is definitely harder to do personals but gonna try my best! Totally understandable about everything. Enjoy vacation and your break from the scale!

Koconut- WTG on your WI! Traveling for 4 weeks? Wow! You can do it- just do the best you can!

mccull83- So sorry to hear about your food poisoning! That is noooo fun! Have a great time camping!

Yup, I was definitely up today. Gonna be good until Saturday- going to a birthday party, there will be drinks and I will be indulging! I took it easy yesterday and will be doing so until Saturday to "balance" it out. Have a great WI, everyone!!!

With the last challenge, I did a top 10 weight loss chart every week but with so many people, I was thinking of maybe doing a top 20-25? once a month (since it is summer and everyone's busy doing everything before it ends!) I will wait until Monday or Tuesday before I put the chart up so everyone can input their weights on the spreadsheet.

Okay, I am cheating a little. Since I binged last night, I am recording my Wednesday weight instead of my Thurs weight, since I think my weds weight is more indicative of my "real" weight... silly as that sounds...

I am still up from last week... possibly up from where I started at with this challenge I can't recall, will have to look when I record my weight on the spreadsheet.

Getting back into gear so next week will be more successful!

I cannot believe how quickly this last week went by! I feel like I had just added to the chart. I'm down .6 from last week, and I'll take it with a smile and a yippee It is so fun to look at everyone's numbers and see how much they have gone down. Great job everyone!

I'm down .5 from the beginning of this challenge. I am pretty bummed about the maintaining this month... but I'm dealing. I have been looking back at my weekly averages on MFP and see that I tend to lose when I'm averaging 1800 cal/ day, maintaining at 2200 cal/ day. But I'm exclusively breastfeeding! I feel like even at 2200 I should be losing. Oh well.

Enough whining! I've been wearing some medium shirts and size ten pants, so that is AWESOME! Gotta focus on those NSV's right now.

Hey everyone. Just a quick check in. The baby has decided to revolt against sleep lately and it has gotten worse these past few nights. I was so proud as she used to sleep 7-8 hours straight, and then all of a sudden it was up every few hours, and for the past two nights it is every 1/2 to 1 hr. So, I am exhausted and barely functioning. I haven't worked out in 2 days...hoping I can get the energy to do that today. I will try to check in later and do personals, but feeling too blah for the moment. At least checking in though so I can stay motivated. I did weigh in at 183 today, so that is a loss of 3 pounds this week so yay! Too tired to really care though, lol. Hope everyone else is having a good week....

Seizetheday (I was gonna abbreviate your username but it came out to be STD. Uh, yea I'll just fully type it out, lol!)- Not really silly nor cheating! That's why I tell everyone that they can use any weight they want from this week. Hoping for a more successful WI next week!

Turtle- Yay!!!! Over 1/2 lb gone. Love your positive attitude!

Christine- Whoo-hoo! I much prefer NSVs like going down a size over the scale! Definitely awesome, congrats!

Jessica- Oh you poor thing! I feel exhausted just reading your post. WTG on the 3lbs! Hoping your little one is okay and starts going back to sleeping more.

EatMoreCelery- Whoa! 5lbs is phenomenal!

Today my week 3 weigh in was 183.2. That's 2.6lbs down from last week, and 11.2lbs total since the 11th.

still here,
spine feels a little better, doctors prognosis is that it's a pinched nerve (And that i'm prone to it, that's why it's becoming chronic). I am taking some antiinflamatories and some muscle relaxants. It's also TOM, I am the most bloated person, ever. Trying to walk as much as possible, and going to try some yoga today- but avoiding the backbends and being very careful on the forward bends.

it's a long weekend, and I am traveling for work on Tuesday. so , incoming rough week. chin up i guess lol

As one of the 100+ lurkers I just wanted to say hi and congratulations to everyone who is sticking with this challenge regardless of what the scales say. If you're trying your best it will pay off in the end! I'm ecstatic to be losing a seemingly steady 1lb a week although as I'm on school holidays from work I had hoped to lose a little more. If I carry on at the rate I'm going I will of course be delighted but I'll miss my goal by 5lbs and I never seem to hit my goals in these threads - fingers crossed! Good thoughts and good luck to all you challengers!
