Ive been forgetting to log in here! But excercise has been good.
This week I have done 3 stregth sessions already (yay) and 3 cardio. One however was only 10 mins of intervals, so I dont know if I should count that or not.

I think I way overdid tonight. I did a stregth session and then ran in the foothills 9 miles. I ended up walking up a hill around mile seven and my going was sloooow. My muscle were so sore from lifting on monday. Maybe today was too much. I guess I'll know tomorrow.....

April 3 - Strength training (upper body, lower body, core) + stretching (55 minutes total)
April 4 - 2.5 mile run @ 5.3 mph + warm up/cool down walk and stretching (3.3 miles total; 50 minutes)
April 5 - 2.6 mile walk (45 minutes)
April 6 -
April 7 - 6.2 mile run @ 4.8 mph + warm up/cool down walk and stretching (6.7 miles total; 95 minutes)
April 8 - 4.2 mile walk + 1 mile jog (5.2 miles total; 80 minutes); strength training (upper body, core) and stretching (45 minutes)
April 9 - 3 mile run @ 5.3 mph + warm up/cool down walk and stretching (3.4 miles total; 50 minutes)
April 10 - Strength training (upper body, lower body) + stretching (60 minutes total)
April 11 - 2.5 mile run @ 5.3 mph + warm up/cool down walk and stretching (3 miles total; 45 minutes)

Pilates (original series) and dogs walk.

eta: my smaller dog nipped a lady while we were walking today. :eek: As she was passing by me he pulled to sniff her and she reached down to pat him, which startled him and he nipped her leg! Lesson learned: don't let the smaller dog go over to anyone to sniff them. I feel bad this happened but also wish she had asked if she could pat him because I would have said probably not but you can pat the other dog she loves people. :(

Oooo I like the idea of doing minutes of exercise as the goal. That's awesome.

So inspite of feeling completely drained yesterday I am not all that sore today. I ran 2 miles with my puppy (he was happy since he doesnt get to go on the long runs, he's just a year and the vet says only a few miles for now). Looking forward to weight training tomorrow.

TM: 38:30 mins and 3.1miles total; 30 min. straight running (2.6 miles). Whoots, I did it again!

dogs walk too.
