April 8, 2012 - Sunday - 4 miles (5k -43 min 30 sec) |
For this month I would like to workout five times per week.

Today I did as planned, my strength routine and I started the day with a powerwalk over 25minutes. I even did a second one around 3pm. But the dog stopped me so often it wasn't really a powerwalk. LOL.
I'm gonna swim tomorrow and run 2 miles. Easy day! |
I am in. The goals are the same - run 40 miles and add stretch exercises in my routine.

Goal: Get my carcass in the gym 6 days a week (working out isn't the problem -- getting my carcass out of bed and THERE is the problem) and on the 7th day do a 30 minute something at home! And so far I've met that goal.... April 1 -- 30 mins bike at home and a walk April 2 -- 60 minutes at the gym April 3 -- To be determined...it's a mystery whether I'll get up or not -- heh heh April 4 -- Oh boy....I've got to get it together and do better.....workout FIRST thing in the morning April 5 -- nope....not yet April 12 -- dang, wow, i'm not making it to the gym, I've been struggling. I want tot go to the gym tomorrow. Ughhhh |

I'm going to include the speeds for my runs so that I can see the progression over the course of the month. I hope to be running comfortably at 5.5 mph by the end of the month. :) Ooo, and another long-term goal (not for this thread, just in general) - one day I want to do my runs at the gym in a sports bra and my capris. No shorts ever unless I have plastic surgery on my legs (SO much sagging skin, and still a lot of fat too), but my upper body is looking decent these days. I never imagined I might be able to wear just a sports bra on top and be comfortable with how I looked... but I'm getting there. :D

I'll meet my personal trainer this Wednesday. I want him to teach me how to exercise at home. I don't want to go to gym.

April 2 - Strength
April 3 - Swimming 60 mins, run 2 fast miles, bike to work OMG, I so did not want to move a muscle today but I did as I had planned and burned like a 1000 calories. I am glad I moved my muscles. LOL. |
