April Exercise Challenge
Let's shower April with energy! This is our monthly exercise challenge -- set your own goal, then track it through the month with a supportive and encouraging group to help you along.
We'll make a list of all of our goals -- as we meet them, they get turned RED in celebration. Whether you're starting with ten minutes a day or training for a marathon, we're happy to have you here! |

Since I surpassed my goals last month and ended around 1500, I'm going to aim for 1750min this month! |
O0o yes I'd love to join! I really want to up my exercise and get back to my routine.
So my plan is run 3x a week for 25 minutes each time.. so a total of 75 mins per week so 300 minutes running this month. I also want to go to zumba once a week which is an hours class so that's 240 minutes zumba this month. So goal is: run 3x a week Go to zumba once a week = 540 minutes exercise this month. |
I'm in again with a goal of 1000 minutes this month. Hopefully this time I won't slack off and I'll reach my goal!

My exercise goals for this month are: 1. Walk/jog at least 25 miles during the month. 2. Do my Wii Fit at least 2 times a week. 3. Do 10 days straight of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. All right....I've made a commitment. Let's do it!!!!! :D |

My exercise goal for this month is to complete 1000 total minutes with my old favorite, Turbo Jam. I am shooting for an average of 40 minutes a day. |
I would like to join, my exercise goals for this month are:
6 days a week do "this is tae bo" DVD -60 minutes 4 days a week do "Jillian Michaels 30 day shred" DVD - 30 minutes 7 days a week walk my dog 30 minutes |
Oh, this sounds like something I could use. More to set realistic goals now and feel proud for reaching them. I've been setting extra goals every other day the past month driving myself a bit nuts because after doing SO MUCH I still felt like I didn't do enough. Hihi.
- So this month I am starting strength training, for it to be effective I should do that 3x a week. - Running NO MORE than 4x a week (I was developing shin splints) - Swim 1 x a week - Walk the dogs briskly and briefly every morning to get my body started |
Last month was successful and my ankle seems to be holding up okay so I will increase my goal this month.
I do have a very busy April scheduled so I hope I can fit my exercise in on those crazy days. Goal: 1200 min |

My goal for April is 1400 minutes. I didn't make it last month, but I have high hopes for this month! I got off to a good start! 1. 45 min Fat Burning Fusion, 30 min gardening; 75/1400 |
Well I ran my 25 mins yesterday :). Today's plan is to go to zumba. I'm shy cos I've not been to this class before (and I'm not very good at zumba and only been a couple times but do love it) so I'm hoping by saying it here I'll actually do it! Hold me to it guys!
And then Tuesday then Thursday are my next run days. |
