Burgundy - have you by chance checked how many calories your sf plan adds up to? I'm just curious. Sounds like it's really working for you - I'm glad! Love the idea of your getting company for your workout - much more fun that way.

The shakes are 200 each and I have 3-100 cal snacks and between 500 and 700 calorie dinner. So between 12 and 1400 a day. Some days I might go a little over.

Its not bad, but the scale is just not moving. Gonna keep going with it for a while and see what happens. My workout last night was killer so I know I am burning calories. I have the boys tomorrow and thats when I want to snack so I am taking all my own meals and not eating what they have. Plus I can workout in the basement with them. Last time I had them we ran 50 laps in the basement.

Have a great week.

maddiesmom - I'm sure you're swamped at work - hope you're hanging in there - come by and say hi when you can!

burgundy - I bet you'll see some progress really soon since you're doing so well sticking to plan. I'm not making any progress at all but I haven't been doing everything right either. Big changes at work plus nasty cold plus single digit weather are all conspiring to mess up my exercise schedule. And comfort eating has definitely been a problem. It's weird - I know I know how to do this but I seem to have lost my way a little. Just a bad week probably. I'll try to get it in gear next week.

Dance-you will find your way again. We all need a little break sometimes. I am going to have a free day one day this weekend so I can go out to dinner with Chris.

We got more snow last night so I am sure the boys will want me to sled down the hills in the yard today. Have to take lots of layers, I dont own snow pants.

The scale was down a pound this morning finally, so it must be working. I have been doing SF since the 7th, so in a week I lost a lb.

burgundy - woohoo for the 1 lb loss! You are back on a downward slide to skinnyness! Would love to join you there asap

Doing okay on food so far today - B: tlc bar, L: half of a burrito bowl at chipotle. We have a work dinner at a burger place which is going to be a little challenging but I'll figure something out. Hope you guys are doing great!

Good for you burgandy! I tried SF years ago and it seemed to work but I gained all the weight back when I went off it. Not so sure I was eating very healthy afterwards so it was probably that. I have thought about looking into it again lunches are sometimes really hard to get in, but I thought it was pretty high in sugar.

Haven't seen my scale since monday not sure why I'm hesitating. I got in some really workouts this week starting to feel a bit more energetic so I did a mile Monday and again yesterday and .5 mile Tuesday and I've gotten in 30mins of weights and abs. I snacked on Monday which really upset me haha not sure why it bothered me so much. My son was sick and home from school tuesday and yesterday so I worked out during the day which I really enjoyed because I didn't feel bad snacking after.

Dance: I did try greek yogurt but I am kicking myself now I forgot to buy it at Costco yesterday. Went in for 5 things spent over $200 and forgot one of the 5 things I went to buy haha gezz thats what I get for shopping over lunch. It's pretty good tried it with grape nuts and berries it was pretty good but I'm almost out. I've been eating it sometimes after a workout I seem to feel really shaky lately after an hour on the elliptical.

marmalade - I forgot to get it at costco the last time I went too! how funny. Will pick some up this weekend for sure. And a bunch of fruit - I'm running low and fruit is a big go-to for me.

So I'm finally down a pound of the 10lbs I'm up from my lowest yet. We're going to Arizona for a long weekend next weekend so I'll be wearing warm weather stuff again and I'm afraid all of it will be snug which is a bummer but I should be able to make it work, I think. Not as good as having your clothes be loose though, that's for sure.

Got in a short walk yesterday in the sunshine to help me get over this nasty cold that keeps lingering and got some pretty good sleep last night. Am hoping I can get back into my exercise routine again starting tomorrow. Anyone with me for miles on Saturday?

Dance-Im with you on miles tomorrow. I want to get 2 in.

Marmalade-SF is great for a quick breakfast or lunch if you dont have much time. Good job on the workout. Im sure your snacking wasnt that bad.

Ran a few errands this morning now home relaxing. Not going to the gym today just gonna do a workout at home. I have a little do around here so I have plenty of time to get a good workout in. Gonna have a "free" lunch tomorrow and go out with Chris. He wants to go to a bar(bar food, yikes) but I am going to enjoy my meal.

Just updated my ticker down 2 lbs for january!

I guess I didn't need to be so afraid after all.

I'm a little upset with myself for slacking last week I did so much better last month. I'm not sure my feb goal is looking like it's going to happen, trying not to think about it too much. I really wanted to be under 200 not sure what is going on this month last month I lost more than twice as much by this time...gotta get out my calendar and have a look at what I've been doing different.

Burgundy - mmm bar food lol haven't had that in forever it's so bad but so good haha

Dance - I feel your pain on your cold my house is full of germs right now everyone is sick! I've woken up with a head ache 4 days is a row now which is much worse than my sniffles. Hopefully the fresh air will help clear things up for you. It's like -23 here so i'm not going to give that a try haha

marmalade - woohoo for 2lbs in Jan! nice job! Weight loss is such a fluke-y, non linear thing - don't get too frustrated when some weeks are better than others. You will be in onederland in no time!

burgundy - girl, it's on! Miles, here we come! I haven't run in a few weeks so I'm nervous to get going again since it's always hard coming back after a break. Good luck with bar food - that's always a challenge.

We're walking to dinner tonight to take advantage of the relatively warm weather and we're going for healthy asian food, should be good. Hope you guys are all having a great Friday!

This month I have only worked out 9 of the 14 days guess I need to start keeping better track of my progress...maybe I need to move my calendar back to the fridge!

I really need more control on the weekends. I stay up too late and end up drained during the day. Snacking on the weekend is bad too I'm pretty good during the week sticking to healthy things, but my hubby always brings goodies home for the weekend...where'd my will power go?

I'm going to go get in a mile now and get things off to a good start

Dance & Burgundy - Lets say 1.5 weekend miles. Have a good weekend ladies, I can't wait until I am up to 2 miles a day good for you!

Hey ladies! I'm unburying my head from work to say hello. I've been working 50+ hours a week and I'm still not caught up! Super stressful, but what can you do? Not a ton of time to catch up with you all, but great job on the losses! I'm really going to try and get my work-life balance back "in balance" so I can keep better track.

Went to the store last weekend and bought super healthy foods. I worked out with Jeff on Monday and Wednesday and I'm going again tomorrow (yep, it's my b-day and I'm starting it at the gym). I'm so glad that I have Jeff. He really does keep me motivated and if I don't show up, he's texting me and keeping me accountable. Two super hard workouts this week--I wanted to lose 2 pounds by my birthday, so we'll see what the scale has to say tomorrow.

Food has been good - candy is out of the office, so that's a bonus. I brought my own breakfast/lunch each day this week and had healthy dinners. Slipped a little today - had the meatloaf at work with a side of pasta, but I could have done worse, I suppose. Going to work it off tomorrow.

Hubby is taking me to dinner tomorrow night, but I'm not having a cake at home or anything for dessert - just don't need it in the house. Not a big dessert eater at a restaurant either, so I won't have wasted calories there. Not sure where I'm going to dinner, it's a surprise, so I can't plan ahead, but there's seafood, so I'll make good choices.

Hope everyone is doing well. I'll try and be a better WL Buddy.

Thumbs up

maddiesmom - wow great job I don't know how your doing it working so much and still getting in good workouts good for you sounds like your doing really well juggling everything, I'm sure the scale will show your hard work!

I had a good workout yesterday sort of my batteries died in my elliptical so I used dumbells and alternated standing and squatting while on it to give me more resistance...sounds about as hard as it was I'm sure I looked silly haha Did 30mins of weights after just as an extra. Pretty sore today so it must been some what good.
New batteries in today just finished a mile However I didn't go to bed early lastnight and I felt pretty sluggish this morning, but I feel pretty good now that I've gotten a workout in so far the weekend is good. Had breakfast and lunch and a snack, I only missed my morning snack off to shower and have dinner.

Hope everyones weekend is going well!
