Hi Ladies, sorry I've been gone again!
Last weekend, the hubby surprised me by taking me away for the night, got a babysitter and spent some time together. It was nice, and it was the first time I've been away from Madeline for an entire night since she was born (over 3 years ago). It was fun. We went out to dinner, went shopping, and just relaxed. I didn't really watch my Paleo diet while gone, but it was a special occasion.
Dance: You can get back on the wagon - it doesn't matter how many times you fall off, as long as you get back on! You have a month until vacation - you CAN do this. Have you been running lately? I'm finding my mile runs are taking more time than it used to, but I'm outta practice. We'll both get there!
Marmalade: You can get the time to workout tomorrow. How old is Ethan going to be?? Maddie turned 3 on 11/28. Kids are so much fun. Let us know how your workout goes. Don't let the blahs get you down - it's almost spring! Is it still super cold there?!?
Allison: How is everything with you? Still motivated and going full force?CONGRATS on 187! I wish I could love the scale as much as you do right now!!
Food has been decent, following the Paleo as much as I can. It's hard not having carbs and dairy! My downfall is still the low fat frozen yogurt, althought I'm trying to geth better.
Workouts are good - I've been going 3 times a week with Jeff and then doing 1-2 workouts at home during the week. Haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks - mostly because my clothes aren't fitting any different, but I do admit - I'm feeling stronger. I'm doing good overall, just wish I wasn't cheating this past week. Didn't get to the store, so I had the bare minimum to work with. Oh well, back on plan and super strict. It seems that is the only way I can get into a "groove."
Booked our trip to Disney for Sept - cannot wait! I think I'm more excited than Madeline. It's a shame we have to wait 6 mos, but that gives us time to bulk up our vacation fund. Anyone else planning vacations?
I promise to try and check in, but once again, work is still keeping me insanely busy. Still no help from my trainer, but at this point, I think severing ties will be the best. In a couple months, I hope to look back and laugh...
Gymnastics and shopping tomorrow, then hopefully a run in the afternoon. Cleaning the mother in law's basement on Sunday, so that will be some workout. Anyone else have plans??
