33.4 lbs lost, 8.6 lbs to go!

Hope everyone had a happy holiday! My plan was to maintain over this week, so I'm happy to see a loss! This upcoming week I'm going to go on vacation with a group of my friends and I know they plan on pigging out the entire time, so it'll truly be a test for me! Just have to keep reminding my self that I am 1.4 lbs away from a 50 lbs loss! Can't believe it!

Too wiped out to mess with color-coding right now, but here's the weigh-in info . . .

EXERCISE: At least 5 sessions per week of cardio that also challenges my muscles.
NUTRITION: At least 5 full days of enjoying 6 small, balanced meals throughout the day.
WEIGHT: From a starting point of 160, lose an average of 1 lb per week. BMI is in parentheses.

This is my first, and hopefully last, gain since I started this fitness kick. This week, I'm aiming for at least 4 days of exercise and eating on-plan. If I'm able to maintain, cool. If not, I won't dwell on it. Instead, I'll get myself psyched up for increasing my exercise and/or nutrition goals to at least 6 days per week till Valentine's Day.

So glad the holidays are over!! Definitely didn't live life on track as much as I could have this week, but I was expecting that whilst being on vacation. I'm happy to get back into my normal routine of things. Hope everyone has a good week!

Thank goodness we made it through the holidays! Suddenly this far-off date feels very close.

Dunno about you, but I'm feeling sluggish and bloated after a long weekend of gluttony and sloth. I'm sure the weight I lost this week was muscle mass I'd rather hold on to, not the chub I'm trying to get rid of. Very much looking forward to getting back into my self-care routines this week.
