Hey girls! Just a super quick hello since I was gone all day. I'm losing again which is good. I'm hoping the busy-ness of today translates into another loss tomorrow!

Morning ladies!
I'm OP and feeling soooo much better.
Funny how just a day or two of good eating makes such a difference.

I'm pretty sure that I won't make my September goal, but just delighted to be back on track

Good morning girls!!!

Jellofer~ 25 lbs gone forever!! Congrats hun! That's awesome!!!

Tummy~ Yeah, it was a good week until the past couple of days where TOM started sneaking in his dang water weight--but I'm not worried, it's just dumb ol' TOM and he'll take his water weight with him when he leaves. I don't have you as a contact on FB, I pm'd you my name so you could add me--would ya please? I wanna see that new hair cut!!! Congrats on the loss and I hope playgroup was fun yesterday!

SG~ Aww, Nella and my mom are right! Kids are dumb when it comes to school sometimes and well, try not to take it personally--they're probably just looking to get out of a class that's going to challenge them, kwim? It says nothing about your ability to teach! on the run hun!!! Hey, don't you worry about speed--look at how LONG you ran!!! Ahem, I do believe just a few weeks ago you could barely run for 5 mins remember? Look at FAR you've come!!! Nothing disheartening about that! You're doing a fantastic job and remember--that scale isn't the boss--YOU ARE!!! Hello, muscle weighs more than fat remember? Just pay attention to how your clothes are fitting while the scale is being evil and keep moving forward--got it? Good! Hope you have a great day today!!!

Nella~ great advice you gave SG hun!! Have a great day!

shasha~ good call on resting today at lunch--you don't want to mess with your back. Try to take it easy at the gym today and on your workout Friday too! You don't want to be miserable on your trip. Have a blast, I'd love to see Seattle sometime!

Julia~ Congrats on the loss hun! You're super close now!! Keep up the great work!!!

NSM~ Congrats on getting the keys!! Now let the fun begin!!!

Ruth~ aha! You're a vacation junkie now! That's great! Play date was fun, thanks!! Have a great day!

April~ hope you had a great dinner out with your dad!!

Jessica~ Woo hoo! Congrats on the loss! Man you're close to your new goal now aren't you? Look at you go!!!! Have a great day!!

Delphi~ okay, gimme her address--she needs a severe beatin'! TOM's here and I could use a good outlet for my rage. What a !!! I can not believe how ridiculous she's being! Never mind that what she's doing is basically illegal, but how cold and heartless can she be to kick a single mom with 4 kids--one of which has special needs--out on the street like this? ARGH!!! That just makes me furious!!! Once again, I am so very, very sorry you're having to go through all of this crap! Is there anyone you can stay with? Your Grandparents maybe? And I so hope you're able to check in from time to time--do you have a Blackberry or iPhone? We can't lose our Delphi!! Big huge hun!!!

Nello~ that is so cool that your hubby is working out with you! I keep nagging mine but to no avail. Hey, I PM'd Tummy about this, but I'll ask you too, I got my P90X yesterday and it didn't come with the guides like the guy said...he's now saying that he'll refund my money or give me a $15 refund for the lack of guides. How important are they? I mean, I'm sure I can do the workouts without them, but I was kind of wanting the whole shebang ya know?

Mom~ Aww, thanks! Congrats on the loss Mom!!! Now we're talkin'! I guess your body finally got the memo that you're serious about this and that you're not about to quit huh? Now keep the positive thoughts going--I just read that having a positive attitude about weight loss actually encourages quicker weight loss!! So think LOSS not gain!! Have a great day!!!

MsP~ congrats on the losing trend again!! Keep up the great work and have a great day!

Susie~ Hey girlie! So glad to hear the perkiness in your 'voice' again! You sound like you're back on top!! Now keep up the great work and remember how much better you feel when you stay OP! You'll be back to losing in no time!!!

I managed to get up and out of bed right on time today! No laying around wishing I didn't have to get up, just heard hubby's alarm and jumped right up! I don't want to say anything 'out loud' so to speak about my sleeping because I know the second I do it'll turn south, so let's just say that I'm not nearly as exhausted these past couple of days and leave it at that okay? (you ladies with kids will appreciate my not wanting to jinx things )

So I got my 3 miles in today and I don't know if my HRM was messing up or what but even though I ran for an extra minute today, it said I burned over 100 calories less than my last 3 mile run! So I dunno. I do know my strap was slipping down a bit during my run and I adjusted it a couple of times so maybe that was it. At any rate, I'm not wearing it all day like I usually do--my ribs need a break!

Still no breakfast bars/cookies made!!! Ugh! I need to get to baking, but I've been so busy the past couple of days and now that I have time I can't settle on a recipe! Figures huh? I think I'm going to try an apple butter breakfast bar recipe I found--hubby loves the stuff and he's been having a super rough week at work so I want to make something just for him.

Holding steady at 137.8, thank you TOM, and just waiting for him to leave.

Other than that, not a whole lot going on. I need to start purging some stuff and organizing the basement before the cold weather hits. I go through this just about every Fall/Winter--it's almost like a nesting urge or something!

Well, I'm going to stop and get to work! Have a great day ladies and don't forget to...

Drink Your Water and Take Your Vitamins!!!

Okay, time for more than a 2 second post. Yay! First I have a quick "first" to report today. So, I went for my run and all normal. I felt good, etc. Then about 26 min in I tripped on an uneven sidewalk and felt completely to the ground, scraping both my hands (one of them on both front and back, don't ask me how LOL). I've been running for 4+ months now and I've never tripped, so I felt like a moron. Thank the Lord it was 6 in the morning and no one was around to see me. Anyway, the funny thing was I got up and thought well, that sucked, and I went right on with the run. I had to get my full run in, right?! LOL I cracked myself up just hopping right up and running immediately again, hands stinging from the scrapes and all. So it was my NSV today. I'm such a running nut that I won't be stopped! HeeHee
On another positive note, I hit 146.6 today which puts me down another half pound or so. My monthly goal, which seemed impossible last week, may be within reach after all. September has been a weirdo month, but it's almost over, thank heavens!

Sandye-Good luck making your bars. They sound yummy and I bet DH will love them. That totally stinks about the P90X guy not having the guides for you! UGH! I hate it when people lie on Ebay!! Hope you get it all worked out. I understand the guides are pretty darn helpful/necessary. Anyway, I hear ya on the purging. I'm a purger (not the bad kind ), so I do it whenever time permits, but Spring and Fall are biggies! I don't like clutter and DH is the same way, so he takes it all in stride as I tear through a room, ridding it of clutter. Part of the fun of losing weight has been repeatedly going through and getting rid of my big clothes. I'm a sicko, I know!

susie-Excellent that you're back on track. It's amazing how good it feels to be doing the right things!

LTTG-Awesome to get the 2 days of loss!! Hope it keeps up, but even if not, you know now that ya gotta just keep pluggin along! You're doing great!!

At work right now, we are demolishing a building. . Well my sf is, I got the pleasure of cleaning his work trucks!! Not that I mind the easy work for a change!!

It's a tad bit difficult to do personals on my iPhone, but Delphi I really hope things brighten up for you soon!!! What a horrible wench she is being, and needs a good slap!

Scale was down the .02 is was up yesterday, hopefully more tomorrow. I did nd up eating Chinese with my father last night(my favorite yumms) but I didn't touch any pasta or rice, so I'm surprised the scale was down. I did eat it at 4 and it was the last thing I ate yesterday and I got in all my water. That water really does make the difference!! Really hoping to see a loss by Sunday though!! 1.2 pounds to make 5 this month, a slow month, but I'll take what I can get!

All you gals that are trying p90x!! I use to do it when I was dating my ex because his mother bought it. Boy did some kick my butt!!! I could never make it through the 90 minutes of yoga though... Lmao wayy to impatient for that kinda thing. 30 minutes top! I loved the superman/banana move, if nothing more than for a huge laugh! Ohh you'll understand the first time you do it!! Hahahaha!

Well I'll do my personals later on... POP so far!!

Morning Ladies,

SG- From personal experience, it may sound silly but you're proably reaching a few very special students who really enjoy the challenge of the class. I was that geeky student once too, I was in AP bio and we started out with 11 students and ended the year with 3. And my teacher did such an excellent job of teaching it and putting it all together that I challenged auniversity biology course for second year and got credit for it. He was my very favorite teacher and I remember him talking about the same frustrations you are now, as that was the first year for the program at my school. Oh ya, and it's been 12 years and he's still teaching it! So that's my little hang in there story for today. The weight will leave, and goals are there to be challenging and you're doing everything right! And you ran 28 minutes! OMG that's super awesome too. And you are a ray of sunshine, lol, always.

Nella - I know, I've seen that too, the ppl I know in high school today aren't terribly motivated it kind of worries me but then I remember that there are some who still are and hopefully they are the ones who will rule the world.

Shasha- Oh do take care, sore backs scare me, they can get hurt so easily sometimes. Only a few days to lift off!

Juliastl - Congrats on the drop that's a biggie! Only 1 lb and 6 days between you and some goal, you're almost there!

NSM - Oh how exciting, finally here, it'll be so nice to get in there before your furniture too to tidy up other ppl dirt and such! Enjoy and we'll catch ya soon.

Ruth - I'm glad the extra weight is finding it's way back to the smokie's and thanks, we always have a great, albeit loud time in a giant room filled with toddlers.

Aprilcp - Hope you enjoyed your dinner out with dad. Wow, down after chinese? that's incedible and almost never heard of, you must have drank a lot! WTG, and I feel ya on the superman banana, i'm doing classic so I only do "core" on recovery week so I just encountered it and it's pretty funny. yoga was a challenge for me too, it's hard to calm down enough in the beginning but now that I'm week 4 it's a breeze.

Jessicado - Wtg, you're almost at goal number 2!! I'm the same way, I need to post first thing in the morning or it just gets away from me.

Delphi - Honestly, that lady, so it isn't even about the money then, it's just about her being evil. I don't know what we're gonna do without you too hun

Nello - Although I'm really glad this week is recovery I do feel rather idle so I'm glad to get back at it next week, I've got more pictures coming up on Sunday to see the first month results which is rather exciting. Did you do the pictures? Yup, I'm all over with the calories too, some days up and somedays down, I'm lower this week with the lower exercise but I'm still a bit tired, ugh, it's hard to find a happy place.

LTTG - LOL, if I ever really look like her someone should give me a burrito, a big one! I still feel really far from goal but I guess it the grand scheme of things I'm not, that's cool, thanks for that on the 171, isn't that a new low number for you? that's great, must feel awesome.

Susie - I'm just over the moon, so happy you're back on track and feeling better, I really think that's such a marvelous victory all on it's own, good for you.

Sandye - I sent you a friend request on FB, lol, so you're all set. Playgroup was great here, did you guys get a good turn out yesterday? Glad you're sleeping is better the last couple days, it sure makes such a difference in the early morning. I know that I lay there a long time too when I didn't get enough sleep just thinking of all the reasons not to go. Have fun with that basement, mine's still almost done, I think it may stay that way for a long time, lol, never seem to have the time.

MsP- LOL, that's awesome, just run and bleed, run and bleed. It's great how nothing can deter you once you've gotten going. I know once I get out of bed and get ready to run, God help anything that stands in the way! Cognrats on teh weight too, only 11 pounds to your end goal too, how exciting!

Playgroup was good yesterday, I took a spot on the board so that's one more thing to add to to do list, lol, but a lot of the ladies dont' have computers and things so it's harder for them to type minutes or posters and such.

I just noticed my lawn is looking a little saggy, I may have to bite the bullet and mow it one last time b/f winter, it's growing soo slow I thought I might get away with it but alas, I think I better do that instead of HIIT today.

But on the weight front, great drop today, down to 164.8, loss of 1.2lbs, right out of left field and no TOM yet, very odd. But guess what that means, GOOOAAALL. And I really felt like I wasn't losing fast this month, it's was all weird and all over the place instead of steady like previous months. Oh well it's off all the same and with 6 days to spare. Now just to get to 154 and be "normal," I guess that might be next month's project. Gosh I can't believe that number is right around the corner, the brain has sooo not caught up with this yet, I mean 24lbs left, wow, that seems so close when it just seemed like yesterday it was 83lbs left.

Alrightly ladies, TTL, gotta go tackle a lawn.

Hello ladies! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Susie - Great job being OP! Eating well does make you feel good, doesn't it?

Ms.P - Grats on the losses! And good for you for keeping going scraped up. True runner there!

April - POP is great! Stick with it! And getting in all your water!

Sandye - Yummy!! All the stuff you talk about making sounds so delish! And I feel ya on the TOM thing, I've been at a stand still for 4 days.

Tummy - Grats on the big loss!!! yay for GOAL!! I've been debating the lawn thing too, lol. If it ever dries out, I will mow it one last time before winter. I will miss that workout though, my butt always kills me after because we have a big yard, and a push mower.

As for me, this week has been OK. Yesterday I was about 250 cals over, but I just HAD to have some chocolate ice cream. TOM cravings are killing me this month. I didn't get a chance to work out yesterday either, otherwise the calorie overage would have been negated. So, it's sunny today and I think a 5 mile walk/jog is in order followed by some 30DS. Crazy I know, but it's got to be done. I have some making up to do for yesterday.

I think one of my biggest issues is I'm feeling hungry all the time. I don't think I'm actually hungry, I just like eating. I've been adding extra protein to combat it, but I just want to eat eat eat!

I'd really like to get the Body Bugg or GoWear Fit thing, but I can't justify the cost of it right now.

I have been missing out on the personals for a while so I'm really sorry if I don't get to catch up with everyone.

LTTG- Yay for holding steady below 172. That hardwork WILL pay off.

susie- I'm not going to meet my Sept goal either. In fact, I won't be very far from where I started this month. But we just have to keep chugging along.

jello- Congrats on the huge milestone!

nella- my trainer was trying to talk me into getting a body bug. But its kind of expensive, and I think after like a 6 month trail period, you have to pay a monthly fee for something. (not quite sure).

Sandye- Let us know how the bars turn out. My boyfriend and his old roommate made bars before. They were good, but I think they said that the recipe they used was very high calories. (had a lot of granola in it).

MsP- Bummer about your fall. I hope you didn't bang yourself up too bad. Good for you for picking yourself up and running right along.

shrinking girl- Sorry about the kids dropping the class. I remember in HS taking some AP classes and they were A LOT harder than normal classes. Its not because of you that they are dropping the class, its just that they are probably not cut out for it.

Delphi- Wow that lady is being a HUGE @#$%&. Her dad passed away less than a month ago and she can't even let everything settle down, she HAS to kick you out now? I'm sooo sorry that you are going through this. You are a very strong person.

nello- I'm trying not to step on the scale everyday too. It can really affect my day sometimes, those stupid daily fluctuations.

april- Ohh that sounds cool. Will you be able to go see them demolish the building?

tummy- wow I need whatever it is that you are taking. Congrats on the loss and being so close to goal.

As for me, going to Seattle tonight. I woke up this morning kinda feeling poopey, like my allergies were out of control. I have been sneezing up a storm and my throat is a little sore and I have gone through a lot of tissues. I drank some tea a little while ago and surprisingly feel better. (not sure if there is a correlation). I got my workouts in the last 3 days and I was going to do one during lunch, but we had to pack our workout gear for the hiking this weekend, so I figured I would just pass the workout today. Although its probably a good thing to skip it since I don't feel very good. Hope you ladies are having a wonderful day. If I don't get a chance to peak in here before Sunday evening, have a great weekend as well!

Hiya ladies....

SG--That sucks about your students dropping. I'm actually a teacher part time in an at-risk youth charter high school, and although this year I don't have to worry about kids dropping as I am an actual core class teacher, I did a few years ago when I worked there as an eBay class teacher (yep I taught eBay in high school, lol). I know how frustrating it can be do have kids think everything should just be handed to them! Even right now I am working with kids on writing, and so one of the things I am assigning is, duh--writing. They keep complaining.....I told them if they figure out a better way to practice their writing, to let me know, lol. W2G on running that long--you are kicking butt! I am sure that plateau is almost over...you have been going so strong, I don't see how the scale can not be moving down soon!

Shasha---Ooooh, Seattle. I love it there! I only live about 3 hours away, yet I only seem to make it there every few years. Have fun! Hope your back feels better too.

Julia -- Losing while TOM is visiting? You're a freakin rock star! W2G!

Delphi--not much else I can say except I hope things start smoothing out for you soon and falling into place. I am still in shock over what she is doing, but I don't think my continued outburts of calling her names will help, so instead I'll just send you a

Late to the Game--Woohoo--you are almost in the 60s! W2G!

Susie--Glad to hear you sounding cheerful and back OP! I am sure the scale will start rewarding you soon!

Sandye--totally with you about the jinxing your sleep, lol. Everytime I get excited and tell people how DD is now only waking up a few times a night, she starts going back to 3-4 times, so now I just keep my mouth shut! W2G on hopping out of bed though, and it sounds like your monitor was just slipping up. Or you are turning into such an awesome fat burning muscular machine, that running doesn't even phase you anymore!

MsP--Glad I am not the only klutz! Glad no one was around to witness your demise too...I know exactly how that feels! W2G on continuing to run too--pretty sure I would have turned back around and just gone home, lol.

Tummy----Way to go on getting to your goal!!! You kick butt!

Nella--250 calories over is pretty good for TOM cravings! I'm sure you'll work it off today, plus some!

Well with less than a week left in this month, my stupid TOM is insisting on sticking around longer than a week, and even though the scale was dropping...it was back up a pound today. Go away TOM! Let me get rid of these last 4 pounds so I can meet my goal in peace and then you can come and visit again. Soooooo close to being under 250--I have been wanting this moment for so long, it is killing me that now the scale is being such a pain, lol. Oh well, I guess that is what I get for not have normal periods...when I do get mine, it is like double the pain in the patootey. Of course the extra pound could be due to the fact that I ate pizza yesterday....(shhhhh!). It was within my calories though, and was one of those small Amy's organic pizzas that I topped with some spinach, garlic and olives and some more FF cheese. Overall the thing was like 800 calories, but DD shared it with me and ate probably 250 worth. Perhaps the sodium got me. Or the extra carbs.... I don't know---I am just overanalyzing everything because I want that freaking scale to move to 249 d*mnit!!!!!

As you can tell....patience is not my virtue during TOM, lmao! Sorry for all the whining ladies!

On the upside, I have really been pushing myself at the gym. It is a bit hard sometimes as I don't know if I'll be able to get a full workout in as sometimes DD will want me halfway through and I'll have to quit and go pick her up from childwatch after only like 20 minutes of working out. So now, I try to get in the most hardcore cardio I can in the beginning, and then if I have time, I will go and do some ST circuit. I still really want to do the C25K program, but I have been trying to condense it in 1rst thing so that if childwatch does come get me with DD, at least I kinda got it in. I am skipping the 5 minute walk warmup/cooldown (only do a few minutes instead), and yesterday I just did 2 sets of 5 minute runs instead of the 6 1 1/2 minute stints with walking in between. Not quite the same, I know--but I am at least getting the same amount of running in half the time technically, lol.

Nella Have you tried increasing your water? Sometimes when I feel hungry I drink a glass of water and feel much better. I know that when you body get dehydrated you can feel hungry. Good luck hope this helps.

Tummy Girl Awesome job on the big weight loss you are the bomb girl... Have fun with the lawn I will have to get mine done this weekend Talk to you soon

aprilcp12344 Congrats on the weight loss you are doing a terrific job!

Ms Perception Wow glad you are ok from the fall... Sounds like something I would do LOL Great job on hanging in.

iDream I know what you mean I just moved into the house and seems like I already need to re-organize the basement LOL Have to get things done before wintere LOL

susiemartin Glad to see your back on track... I am not making my Sept Goal either but I know I have made some good changes this month and have created a great foundation for my goal next month. Keep up the good work

Sorry if I missed anyone

As for me I am back home today and trying to catch up as always LOL... Not to much today I did most of the cleaning on Tues. So just maybe I will get to organize the basement today ... Things are great with the eating on plan and we are getting much better with packing the cooler for our days at work. Thanks for all the help with that ladies. I am still doing my workouts at home until the 1st when we will be signing up for the gym. Can't wait for that. I am going to be going in the mornings 4 days a week and then 3 days a week I will go a second time in the evenings with my DH.. Since he gets home later figured it wouldn't hurt to get an extra workout in right... Hope all you ladies have a great day day. I'll check in later on today.

Hi Chicks

No change on the scale this morning, I was kinda bummed about that. I did do extra exercise yesterday and although I ate good, the turkey smoked sausage that we had in veges last night was pretty salty so hopefully I'm just holding on to some water weight.

Tummy Congrats on reaching goal!!!

Well ladies, I think I have some good news. We found a house, even though it's fifty bucks higher than what I can pay and man does it need some work, inside and out. They are willing to rent it to me, so all I need to is fill out the application and go in, either tomorrow or Monday and settle up. I still may be without services for a bit...but at least now, it won't be too long. Sucks though, as the kids will be zoned for another school and we are no more than two minutes away from the house I should be renting. I've pulled all my resources together and now our efforts will go into getting this place livable. New flooring has to be laid into the kitchen and a major cleaning job has to be done. It just looks awful..but I guess it has some potential and I can't at all be too picky, if we can get it to look good inside. I see many potential paint challenges ahead. After all I did just paint my bedroom Lavender...and I guess I will be painting my new one, Lavender as well.

Well Tummy congrats darling. and to everyone else plugging away.

Just another quick update. We WILL be signing the papers tomorrow and the key will be in my hands tomorrow..although, not for long, as my friend has now rallied all her resources and they will be over there all weekend, getting the house up to par and clean...inside and out. They are replacing the kitchen flooring and doing some painting as well..among other things to get it nice enough for us to be proud to live in it. People are just awesome. With all the bad that can be found in this world, it's nice to know, that even in these tough times, people are still willing to help others in such a way. Human beings are fascinating creatures.
