good morning!!!

So, time spent with spiritual advisor last night was worth it. So was exercising and staying on plan.

SW 254.4
CW 253.0 (ta-da!!!!)
GW 249.4

Yipee!!! That made my near meltdown at target a thing of the past. i was looking at all of the tasty treats and put everyone of them back on the shelves and came home and had meat!!! I am so glad that I did. Big weigh-in Friday at the Doctors office. His scale is usually 1lb more than mine. So, I am really pushing for 252 or less on my scale. This officially puts me at
]-25 lbs!!!![/

Thanks for all of your kind words and support. I have to get going to face this busy day. But, I will be back!!!!

Morning Ladies,

Mystical - I'm so glad that you're menu stuff is working out, I know that for me, it is the key to all of this and that cooler is marvelous, my friends are now just used to seeing my little blue cooler with me and it's not even odd anymore. I've even had a few ppl try and get something from me when the food available wasn't very healthy. But you've lost at least 4lbs that in and of itself is awesome and a little over a pound a week so far. The big numbers will come but you're laying the ground work for some great habits there too! I'll see if I can get a pic up on FB soon, I really like it

Shasha - I think it's great sneaking in those extra workouts, every little bit does help and the weekend sounds like it'll be nice too.

NSM - I hope you're house stuff is all sorted out by now, goodness that would be stressful as all get out but then it'll be over and all blissful.

Aprilcp - And I'm sure with pretzels too that salt would help bump the scale too, hope you're feeling better soon.

MsP - I think I need a shirt that says that, just plan! If only I have realized that five minutes of planning everyday could have saved so many years of unhealthiness. Congrats on your run, and the drop!

Sandye - The slap chop guy kinda of scares and facinates me all at the same time, he's gotta be on drugs, he just looks sooo stung out. I'm totally shocked too, this is a weird pre-TOM week for me but I'm totally fine with it staying like this, it's awesome. Hope you're getting some good nights sleep, mine has gotten a ton better in the last few months and we don't hear a peep out of her anymore so you won't hear me complain, anymore, ever. I probably won't post it here but if you check your FB?!?

Bootsie - Congrats on the 5lbs! That's awesome and I hope you're super proud of yourself!

Jellofer - WTG, over 5lbs for you too, everyone is rocking it this month!

Delphi - So proud of you hun, down to almost 60lbs gone and dealing with tons of stress, it's just goes to show how well you're handling all this, your body is still losing!

Kim - I'm finding great success with some of the cheaper grains: quinoa, couscous and brown rice varities, buckwheat, etc and fruits and veggies. They really stretch a buck but I'll go hunt up something and see if I have any bargin friendly stuff that can last a few meals. I know I do I'll just see which ones are best.

SG - But you went and honestly I think our best each day is different and sometimes it's just not super dooper fantastic but the intention was there so I'd totally count it and almost twice as much b/c the harder ones are just that, harder! Congrats on your foot!

Miss Mallee - So glad your first day went well at school and that you're doing great food wise, wtg!

Ruth - lol, I think p90x is contagious, in a good way, not in the black plauge kind of way. It's really incredible. Glad you have a wonderful time on vacation, it's nice to recharge those batteries and glad to have you back too!

JasonsLea - Hope you enjoyed your day at home yesterday, I'm with you on those rainy days, as long as it's once and awhile!

Dcapulet - Bravo! 2.5 miles, that must feel super fantastic! WTG!!!!

Oh gotta run again, playgroup starts again today and we need to be there in an hour and I haven't showered yet. It will be nice to see everyone after the summer, some of the ladies and kids we see all the time but there's a lot of ppl we will enjoy catching up with. DD is over the moon and so excited she can't even sit.

Down another 0.6 today to hit 166.2, only a pound left to goal which is great, this month felt really slow so for some reason but I guess it's just my brain b/c I'm right where I usually am. The hair cut turned out great, dh said I look like posh spice, lol, (with about a 100 extra pounds!) but I like it and that's the idea. Catch you ladies later!

Hey Chickies

I'm having a crap day if you want to know the truth. Another student has dropped my AP Bio course and it's just really bringing me down. I'm putting so much time and effort into that course and it's like the students are expecting me to perform miracles or something. They definitely want to be spoon fed and I'm trying to prepare them for college. It's just disheartening and I'm worried about enrollment for next year... or worse yet... the school deciding I'm not doing a good enough job and giving the course to someone else to teach. I just don't know what to do. I'm so frustrated I could cry. The students and I have so much fun in class and yet they're not willing to do anything outside of class and so they drop it. UGH.

If I were trying to be my normal, positive self I'd tell you that I managed to run OVER the 28 minutes on this morning's podcast. At the last second I decided not to turn around at the halfway point and kept going on a circuit I knew to be 2 miles in length... and I ran the entire way. A victory for sure if you don't count the fact that I'm running 14 minute miles. Again, I know I can work on speed later but it is also disheartening.

Also disheartening... I'm still at 210.0
The scale hasn't moved in a few days other than to bloat up from the carbs I ate at the party and then to come back down to 210. I'm sure I'll lose 2 lbs in rapid succession like I always do when this happens it's just that it's so close to the end of the month, I'm getting nervous about making goal.

Well, there's my ray of sunshine for the day. May you all be doing better than me.

Shrinking Girl - I wouldn't take it too personally about the class. Kids are lazy creatures. A lot of them probably were signed up for that at their parents insistence and can't handle the work load. And in general, there are a lot of kid now that expect everything handed to them on a silver platter. I know my SD's are lazy lazy lazy! It is way to much effort to put dishes in the sink, so forget about doing AP Bio homework. Think about how many people dropped classes in college after the first day, I know I did a few times, lol.

Just do your best, and work with the kids you have. Their test scores will show what a good teacher you are.

My back has been aching so badly for the last couple days. I think I'm going to skip my lunch workout today to recover a little. I am still going to the gym later tonight because I have my training appointment. No matter what though, I have to go tomorrow during lunch because after work we are getting on a plane to Seattle. I am so excited. Not quite sure what the plans are, but I know we planned a hike in there somewhere. I hope that instead of eating out for every meal, we can cook atleast once. Grab some fish at Pike's Market to eat at home.

Quick pop-in for me again,

In about an hour I will be getting the keys for the new place . It seemed like the day would never come, but it's finally here.
The eating has been so-so the last few days and the exercise non-existent, but I knew that's how it was going to be.

Gotta run!

Have a great day everyone

Hi Girls

I've lost 1 pound of the 2.4 I gained so that was a welcome sight this morning. Hopefully more will come off after today.

Sandye Yeah we are already planning to go back in May. I was telling dh too that we could go places closer to home sometimes for a weekend. We are definitely addicted now. Hope you have fun on your playdate.

SG Sorry to hear about your students. My kids are still young but they don't like extra school work, and don't even mention writing assignments, its like pulling teeth sometimes getting DS to do his reports etc. I can't imagine dealing with a whole room full of kids, two is enough for me.

Tummy hope you have fun with your playgroup too!

Hiya girls--just checking in really quick. Funny how I am great about posting every morning, and then I get a few days of work (I only work a few days a week at the moment), and since I don't have time to post before I run out the door.....that usually ends up meaning I don't post at all, lol.
Well, the scale is down to 252 today, which means only 3 more pounds until I reach my Sept goal! Am going to try to come back and do personals later...but no promises, lol!

Hey ladies. Still no luck here. everything is soooooo high. I mean **** if I had that kind of money to spend on rent every month, I'd just buy a house. I'm not full blown stressed yet...but the closer we get to deadline, the heaver it becomes. My friend is pulling all the resources she can. Even had a third party willing to pay rent here until we could find something and you know that crazy b***h wouldn't even go for that. Where is the humanity in what she is doing? May the Lord have mercy on such a lost soul. I really do feel sorry for her. Tis a shame really it is.

Well I'm glad to read things are going well for you ladies. I just don't know what I'll do without you gals everyday. I'll just be miserable.

Oh and to make everything better...TOM came yesterday.

Tummy- Hope you are still loving your P90X. I am so encouraged my seeing the weight just melting off of you. Great job girl!!!

This month is something of a struggle for me weight wise. I started out and reached my goal of 195 but I am creeping back up. The only thing I can think of is I need to figure out a good balance between my P90X (Still loving it!!!), water intake and my calories. I have decided not to step on the scale everyday and only weigh in once a week. My husband is fully committed to the P90X program as well (he is on Day 3) and we actually have been working out together which is something I never thought we would do.

Wow! Just one page! I can do this!
SANDYE~Aw, shucks You know I never would have stuck with it this long if I had not been inspired by you (and the other chicks here). You have made amazing progress and I am so proud of you.

JELLO ~ on 25 lbs! That is a major acheivment!

TUMMY ~ Or should I say "Spice."So close to goal! I too want to see your new do

SG ~ It must be so frustrating to have students drop your class. They will come to regret it (take it from one who knows-I was the dumb one, not my kids), but some kids just don't realize how valuable school is. Way to go on the 28 minutes! I can not imagine running that long. Plateaus are evil, but this too shall pass

SHASHA ~I hope your back feels better soon. Have fun in Seattle! I love that city.

JULIA ~ Way to go with a loss while TOM is visiting!

NSM ~Congrats on the new place!

RUTH ~ 2.4? Holy cow!

APRIL ~Sounds like you're feeling better Hope you had a nice dinner with your dad.

JESSICA ! on being so close to goal!

DELPHI ~You have got to be kidding! What a *itch!!! All I can say is, Karma. And TOM on top of it? You will not have to live without us. You can go to the library and check in (please do, cause I don't think we can live without YOU).

NELLO ~Oh that creeping back up is so discouraging. Don't give up!

Okay, today I was down again (to 171.8)! That is a loss two days in a row! Hey, for me that's big. I've been struggling with my cardio. I'm doing it, but it is kicking my butt! Hoping to not gain tomorrow, which is what I always do after a loss. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow!
