Hi, I want to apology for my last posts. I was a freak out by stress. Today, I’m more positive and looking to my goals for this month. I’m 1 pound away from my memorial day goal!

Jiggle: Living in the US I discovered that while I was living in my country and feeling obese I was at a healthy weight. Yes, I was the bigger on my family but that did not mean that I was obese and I’m a little worry about how the trip may affect my actual efforts for a healthy life but I’m sure that everything will go better than what I imagine. I think that anxiety for my trip and thesis project has been driving me a little crazy. you look great!!!

Farn: Yes I have lost 37 pounds. However, while I was living in Argentina my highest weight was 141 pounds. I’m losing weight to be healthy. I did it for wrong motives before and that is why I failed. I’m more positive now toward my trip and I now that I will enjoy it. I have planned to avoid a mean aunt, but if think positive everything will go well. Anxiety made me see everything negative last week. . for the 30ds. After my trip I will look at my DVDs before buying the 30Ds.

SugarRox: thanks for your kind words and you are right, everything will go better than what I expect.

Shan: for your 100!!!!

Lori: I love your daughter’s name! In Argentina we have a very interesting historical figure whose name was Camila. I also love your flowers. Last weekend I was flowers day for my garden.

KDM Thanks

Susieyarb: for that 20%

Corinne and sgregg:

Fruitlady: for those 2 pounds!

LORI--your flowers are soo pretty! Hope you start feeling better!!

beach--GOOD JOB being "good" while out for the bday...I totally would've blown my diet!! haha kinda like I did this past weekend while visiting family in WV! I'm glad you like 30DS...how is NMTZ?? you say tough, but how tough?? is it all strength training?? and how long does it last?

mkyice--jumping rope definitely gets your HR up!!! how long did you do it for?? Hope you had fun w/the hubby!!

jiggle--the only way I was able to get through L2 today was bc i kept telling myself that after today, tomorrow would be the last day of L2!!! So I should be starting L3 on Friday and I'll def. let ya know how it goes...i've heard from someone that they thought L2 was harder than L3...we shall see!! AND YES, You should be motivated by your avatar...YOU'RE SMOKIN!!!

WECLOME CORINNE & SGREGG!!! You girls will LOVE these challenges!! Lori usually sets them up as a Holiday to be the final WI...Our next one will probably be July 4th...just guessing tho...what do you think LORI??

Ashley--I'm glad you like 30DS! Watch out for L2! haha but don't give up! we can do it!!! As for my measurements, I took them at the beginning and then again after finishing L1, but there wasn't much change, so I doubt I'll take them after L2...I may just wait until I finish L3 and compare to D1... As for the reactions of my family, yes, they were all good ones!!! my mom was so proud of me! and my brother (2.5 yrs younger) was really sweet and said "Wow, sis, you look really good!!!" but then he wanted me to share the "secret" haha & of course I had to say there was none LOL just CC and exercise...

beans--AWESOME JOB putting half of your burger in a to go box! I always say I'm gonna do that but never have!! GOOD JOB! Good Luck on your MD goal!

Corinne--2lbs/week..thats awesome! I wish I could find my magic # to get to that!! how many cals do you eat? how often do you exercise?? Just curious

Shylah--Good Job exercising 3x/wk!! What types of exercise do you do?? And yes, WHERE IS JDONATO!?!?!?! Maybe she took a graduation trip??

Fruit--You're SO CLOSE!! and after a 50min WO, You'll be sure to hit 105 tomorrow!!! Keep it up!

AS FOR ME, I struggle through 30DS L2D9 today! UUGGH! TOM came with a vengence after keeping me waiting for almost 2wks!!! I was feeling kinda weak during the 2nd circuit...so much, my foot/leg would shake if all my weight wasn't on it..weird! and I ate the same breakfast I always do!!! oh well, I finished it, but instead of doing the plank twists for the last ab WO, i did the bicycle crunches! I didn't think I could hold myself up in plank position for a whole minute!! haha but atleast I did SOMETHING and just didn't give up!! The water weight is going away...down to 172.6 today...doubt I'm gonna reach my goal, but TOM has really messed w/me this month!!! If I could just get to a solid 170.0, I'd be happy

HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!

Newbies: Welcome! I don't think I could do it without these guys

Aluxa: glad you're feeling better about your trip. Traveling under stress is NOT fun!

Lori: such pretty flowers! I, unfortunately, am cursed with a black thumb!

Fruitlady: congrats on the 2 lbs!

KDM: sounds like that 30DS is a killer! I'm almost done for the school year and plan to do more stuff outside in the summer, but I may look into it for fall when I'm back exercising indoors.

Everyone else: Keep up the good work!

As for me: been on plan all week so far. Low calorie day today and I think I can make it without and unplanned snacks tonight Going on our first camping trip of the season this weekend! Wish we could have gotten out earlier, but circumstances just didn't allow Anyhoo, very much looking forward to getting outside...hopefully after a good WI on Friday!

I started out on the treadmill. I did that for 5 days a week, 45 mins/2 miles a day. Then I tried 30DS, but my shoulder is still too injured to keep going, so stopped that for another week or two. This week I'm doing WATP- 30 minute walk every day. Once I get in a groove I was to add 3x on the treadmill doing C25K

then, when my shoulder is healed, gonna try to do 30 DS again.

KDM and Jiggles- NMTZ is 40 minutes, its all strength training. I've only done 30DS level one and it had some of those exercises in it. I bet it has some of the ones from level 2 and 3 too. Its ALOT of squats and lunges etc, alot of triceps stuff, and abs. For me it was tougher than 30 DS level 1 but I also started with it and its twice as long, so that could be a huge factor. I would reccommend it. It only has the 1 exercise though. I also have another one but I haven't tried it. I'll let ya'll know when I do.

Good Evening Ladies!!!

I havent been online much since this weekend and WOW do I feel behind. Yall have been busy in here this week.

For my WI on Monday I was at 158.6. Im getting close to my goal of 154 for this challenge.

I know my weight is up today. Yesterday was my little brothers 21st birthday and I went out with the family to celebrate. We went to a place that makes a 42 inch pizza. It was neat. I only had one slice, but I did have 2 maragritas and a few shots with the birthday boy. Im back on track though.

Jiggle You look AWESOME in those jeans. GOOD JOB!!!

Shan Congrats!!!! Your doing SO great!!

alright it's midnight right now and I'm just about to start my 30 minutes on the elliptical and then do my 30DS L1D5. I had no other time to do it today because the ADT security guy showed up right when I started working out earlier today and was here for 4 hours!! No workout and late for work....I'm starting to think I'm psychotic for working out this late!!! I should just be going to bed cuz I have to work in the AM, but I gotta get it in!!!!!! hahaha night all!!

Determination or some mild form of psychosis?! haha

Talking In the 160's!!!!!

Beansmama You can do it, just add in walking or other excercise and you will get there!

WECLOME CORINNE & SGREGG!

Fruitlady Great Loss!

farn00a57 Good for you for getting the workout in. That's determination right there!

Week has been good for WL, down to 169 (-2.5) Finally broke out of the 170's. I made my goal for this challenge so I'm resetting it for another 2 lbs. It feels so slow but I know 2-3lbs a week is a good solid pace and means it should be mostly fat that is coming off. I'm scheduled to do another body fat test in June so hopefully the results will be great.

Today is my power workout day of the week 2 hours in the am and 1 in the evening. The problem is I'm limited to soft foods since having a massive root canal yesterday, hopefully I can eat weel enough to sustain the workout.

Hope you all have a great OP day!

Good morning ladies!!!

I had a great on plan day yesterday. Things are going great so far today. I have on white today. I never wore white because it made me look bigger to myself. I look cute to myself today...shapely even. Anywho, I was invited to a luncheon and I pray it's something good and healthy. If not I will be eating lots of lettuce for dinner and increasing my water intake to 4 liters. I hope this doesn't sound crazy but I can't wait til this 30days of 30DS is over. I'm ready for something different. What was I thinking when I started this one. The good thing is I can't complete my goal before the challenge is over. Because of the water intake and shredding. I have to be less strict on myself before it gets boring. The ability to change things up works well for me...especially my workouts.

KDM - I will look at doing level 3 after my 30 days is up. I may weave it in with another workout for variety...MAYBE!! You are my hero going to level 3!! I was looking at your progress pictures yesterday and thought to myself...she should be ready for more pics doing all that shredding. You look great!!
Shylah - I'm so proud of you for doing what you gotta do to get your workouts in. Many people get where you are and a little shoulder pain would cause them to quit working out period. KUDOS!!!
Northern - Have fun camping...we used to do a lot of it when I was in my teens living in Alaska. I loved it absent the mosquitoes. Don't do it now because I have new hobbies...shopping!!
Beach - I think I may have to get that. Sounds like what I'm looking for in working out to get to my next two sizes.
Sugar - Thanks. That pizza sounds interesting. 42"??? That's a lot of pizza. Hope your brother had a good time and woke up without a hangover.
Farn - You better get do it!! Getting that workout in no matter what...I call that Determination...psycho...but determined.
Fit - I'm scared to ask but what do you do in two hours of working out??? You are a beast when it comes to working out. I'm gonna be like you when I loose all this weight!!

How about right before I went to bed last night I was in the bathroom and noticed a stye on my eye. How do you get those things out? WebMD said they go away on their own after a couple of days and use a warm compress. Is that all...short of going to the dr. and all kinds of other stuff is happening but I will not be deterred. In times past I would quit working out til I "felt better".

Morning ladies!

How is everybody's day so far?! Hope all is well. I'm at work right now and will be getting my workout in once I get home at 5. Since I didn't go to bed from my last night's workout until about 2am, I couldn't get myself up at 7 to workout and then get ready...haha. I'm up 1/2 a pound, but I'm not worried about it, just fluctuation's again I think. My body is fluctuating a lot this time around. Last challenge it was consist loss when I was staying OP, now it's up down up down ugh. getting old! haha. 30DS was a lot better last night, I wasn't as tired at the end and I could do more and better push ups than the first time, that really made me happy! I'm shocked at how fast one's endurance can change!!!

beansmama: you can totally make that goal by the end of the challenge!!!!!

sgregg: welcome!!!

fruitlady: congrats on the whoosh!

aluxa: oh no need to apologize!! everybody gets stressed!!! i completely agree having a positive mindset can change a lot of things!!! Maybe if your aunt sees you being positive, that will some how change her to be nice? let's hope! definitely try 30DS too if you get a chance! it is really great!

kdm: haha i am so terrified of L2!!! walking push ups right?! those sound horrible!!! haha I think i'm going to take my measurements after L1 like you did, but probably end up waiting until the end of the 30 days as well. I just CAN'T WAIT!!!!! I keep wanting to check and I have to remind myself it's only been 5 days and my body can't drop inches that fast! haha good to hear that you got great reactions from your fam! that's the one thing I am looking forward to as well, my extended fam (aunts, uncles, etc) have always been negative about my weight, looking down on me, so I want to put off seeing them as long as I can so when i do they don't even recognize me!!!! that'll shut 'em up!! reading your description of L2 makes me nervous, what is a plank twist?!

northern: congrats on staying OP!!

sugarrox: hey for celebrating a 21st bday you didn't do that bad!!!! My little brother's 21st is coming up in September, and I'm just going to say the heck with it and have an off day. haha

fit: congrats on getting out of the 170's!!!!!! that's awesome!!!

jiggle: hahaha I guess a little bit psycho and a little bit of determination never hurt anybody, right?! hahaha. I totally know what you mean about never wearing white!! good for you for wearing it!!!!! That's one thing that I want to be able to do as well, eventually. I always think i look huge in white. I get bored too with my workouts, I need to switch them up. Once you finish your 30 days what if you rotate between 30ds one day and then do something different the next? I think that would help you from becoming bored, maybe? another jillian michaels tape, or are you getting sick of her? haha

well i am off for the day, going to make sure I get all my water in today because I came very close yesterday to not getting it all in. that may explain the fluctuation of my weight? who knows.

have a good day!

Just a quick check in to say hello!

The weather has been beautiful here in northen MN this week, hope it stays that way through the weekend!

Jiggle: where did you live in AK? I spent a couple of summers working up there back in college. (that was back in my tenting days...I'm spoiled now with an RV...no DVD player?! Now that's roughing it, lol.). We are also taking the ATV's out for the first time this season. Can't wait!

Going to do my best to account for everything this weekend, even if I go over a bit. Sprite zero and vodka, baby! Lol. After the past few weeks, I think I deserve a drink!

Anyhoo, hope everyone has a great night!

Hey, I missed a day or so of posts; everyone seems to being doing great. I didn't see posts from Lori or JD, so if y'all are just reading, I hope you are doing alright.
I had a nice week with the hubby. He is gone again (at least this is a short trip). I have stayed on plan despite all of the bbq'ing and eating out and the frustration of having my car die. Hopefully, it is all fixed (the car) and won't give me any trouble. I need to buy groceries (the cupboards are bare) and I really don't want the hassle of lugging them on the train every couple of days.
I don't weigh in until Monday (which is also when TOM is supposed to arrive!). I am really hoping for a good loss (anything over 1lb even if it is . something over). I guess I'll see on Mon. I hope everyone has a good day...I'm so glad it is Friday! Well, I've got to go and see if my car is going to start or if I need to get the yen out for the train!

Wow! Y'all have been chatty Cathys!

I didin't fall off the face of the earth LOL.

All my online time the past couple of days has been spent researching our NEW vacation plans. We had been planning to go to the Gulf Shores Area Beach, but with the oil spill, our Travel Agent advised us to cancel and make new plans. We only had till today (30 days out) to decide and cancel and not lose any money. So our new plan is to leave from New Orleans and take a cruise to Cozumel/Progreso. So we've had to totally switch all our plans and anticipations!

I've been OP all week. I completed 30DS L1 D7 today. It is getting better and better. Still hard, ,though! I am seeing the most change in my push-ups! I could barely do them at first - felt like such a DORK! But I'm getting so much better at them!

I weigh in tomorrow morning. I am a little scared because I'm sooooo afraid that whoosh was a fluke and it'll all be gone tomorrow!

Sometimes I envision the fat just plopping back on my body like the Nutty Professor (Eddie Murphy's version) or if you've recently seen the Princess and the Frog like the guy who stole the prince's body. My big ol' bootie is just going to re-appear - boinggg!

So, I've got to get my Wii Fit board set up tonight and get everything hooked up so it's ready to go in the morning.

I'll have to do personal's later, y'all. I'm going to have to get a pen and paper to write it all out to answer everyone with 2 1/2 pages to catch up on!

Someone asked (sorry I can't remember) what size I'm in now. My size 14 capris are just starting to get a tad baggy and I'm wearing my one pair of size 12 shorts like a normal person LOL. I don't know if I could fit into any other size 12's because I haven't tried any others on yet. Maybe these shorts are just a fluke?

Jiggle, I wore the ON jeans for about 6 weeks. They were quite snug, but no muffin top, when I started wearing them. By the time I sent them to you they looked like I'd pooped my pants and they were just saggin' down all in the back! The waist got loose too, like I could have moved the button over 2 inches. It'll be no time before you move down to a 14! Then it's only been about 3 weeks since I got my 14's and they're already starting to get loose. I can probably wear them another 2 or 3 weeks before they have to go too! But only 3 weeks between getting into a snug 14 and then wearing my 12 shorts! I went to buy a pair of the shorts in white for the cruise, but I waffled back and forth between 12 or 10. The 10's are only like 1/2 inch smaller across than the 12's! I didn't get either, I'll probably go back and get the 10's though.

Ok, I've got to get to bed. My baby boy has fever again, so it may be a rough night! I'll be so glad when this last set of molars is in! I hope that's all it is, though.
