Hi girls ... is everyone ready for their holiday weekend? Good but healthy food on hand, and all that good stuff? We are going to grill everything ... pork chops, steak, burgers ... so hopefully that will help me stay on program! I bought a bag of red, yellow and orange peppers at Costco to do a batch of onions & peppers, marinated with lemon juice/evoo/herbs, and done on the grill in a fine mesh basket. Tastes wonderful, and very low in calories.

Jiggle, your new dress is so different and cute and summery. It suits you ... enjoy it! My wardrobe is mostly black and white (like with my silver hair), but with lots of shades of blue thrown in ....

KDM & Ashley, we are huge CRIMINAL MINDS fans, too ... that whole cast is great, and OMG, can those writers do creepy stories! We just watched the season finale last night ...

Sugar, I hope your hubby has arrived home in time for the holiday weekend.

Well, girls, I joined you so late for this Challenge. I did drop another pound so that's four in all. If you do a July 4th Challenge, that would be GREAT! That's my anniversary so that's also an incentive to really buckle down!

Keep up the good work, ladies! You're all such an inspiration ...

Have a good one ...
Babe

jiggle: love the dress! It looks amazing on you

Farn: The job hunting is going slow mainly because I just got my laptop in and trying to my resume off my old one, and I'm focusing on my CLEP test next Tuesday. That test determins my diploma. Yes I'm sorry I had to waste the wine....it was a shame but needed to be done. And the bf, I have no idea what is going on. He won't talk to me he just ignores me as if I'm not there and that's it. So I have no idea what he feels like so how can I fix it or even try to understand. We will see.

Ok so weight is good, but now I'm trying to find a good workout program to help get rid of the fat around the stomach and my love handles as well as tone my arms....I can grab them and really get alot, it's as if my whole side is just fat. Went over in calories yesterday and it's not that I ate alot it's higher calorie dense foods. There is 2 kinds of fat I have around my midsection. the love handles are solid fat, and the fat on my belly is jiggle fat, if ya know what I mean. I work today until 5:45 and I have no frozen meals or lunch meat in the fridge so no idea what i'm doing for lunch. Trying to make better decisions. I have no idea what to do with the bf, some how I get the feeling he's gong to break up with me, it's like he's trying to find problems...know what I mean? Well thats my bit for the morning. Hope everyone has a great day!

Ok girls I totally screwed up. The pants I am in are Sonoma's but size 20 I am still calling a victory because last saturday I went to wear them and they wouldn't button unless I held in my gut. Today, np at all and no muffin top. I've been wearing 20's from LB and Avenue all along, so i'll still take this as a small victory lol

Shylah, if you can button pants today that you couldn't button a week ago, that's a definite victory, no matter the pants size! Good for you ... You said you were so sore ... do you ever take Motrin or some such thing to ease that? It helps ...

I'm doing good today. I went back to the store to get my dress in a size 16 and it was GONE! I didn't give up trying to find another one and found a 14. My niece was shopping with me and encouraged me to try it on to see how it fit. It looked pretty good but I may need a girdle to keep my stomach from jiggling but then again I may not. I will see when I wear it to work this week. We have been out all day. So I walked a lot and will add that as more exercise.
Shylah - You know what, that is a great victory. You couldn't button them without sucking in your stomach and now you can without a muffin top. That would have me running around the house and dancing no matter what size they are. I still have a pair of size 18s that I can wear but the are too tight. They fit like a small 16. So Dance girl!!
Jdonato - I have to say those sound like my troubled areas. I've been doing the 30DS level 3 for almost a week and have been getting good results in those very areas. But I have to work on hips and thighs as well. I think each level is good for toning. I like it as opposed to lifting in my legs because I don't want big muscle bound legs...which is what happens to my legs when I lift.
Babe - The grilled peppers sound tasty. We are going to be grilling on Sunday and resting Monday. Tomorrow is errand day so nothing big for that. Congrats on that extra pound!!
Well I'll holla back later.

I did it!!

Missed my WI yesterday, but am kind of glad I waited until this morning, because it was close! First WI was .2 lbs shy, so I tried again and bam! 224 on the button 50 pounds lost...I will take it!

Went swimsuit shopping yesterday for the girls weekend (which I am leaving for in a little bit...so sorry about not doing shout outs today), and I actually found something I don't hate!! Granted I'm nowhere near bikini territory, but at least I'm done with the 1930's style swimdresses, lol.

I hope you ladies have a wonderful memorial day weekend...can't wait to check in Monday and see how everyone did.

Gosh, I feel good today!!

Good morning all!

I made the 3 pounds for the challenge, hopefully it will stay that way as tomorrow is my exercise "break" day. *Crosses fingers*

Many congrats Northernexposure! Enjoy your ladies weekend!

I'm off to work in a little bit (11 hours today and a 14 hour day tomorrow, ugh) but I just thought I'd drop by and wish everyone good luck! I probably won't post again until Monday- so keep pushing ladies! I'll officially WI for the challenge Monday morning.

See you all then! And any loss is EXCELLENT!

Congratulations, NorthernExposure!!!

That is fantastic ... you've lost 50 lbs. I know how much hard work and discipline that took. :-)

Lori, you're looking great in your photos, BTW!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far! I've lost the four pounds in nine days, and hoping for another off by Monday. I figure if I can get through the weekend without caving to *bad impulses*( ), I'm off to a good start.

CorinneIrene, don't work too hard, and great with your three pounds off!

Have a good day, all!!

Hey ladies!

So weightloss is on track, i'm able to matain my weightloss which is good. I just need to keep active. I'm studying really hard for my CLEP test and the bf and I are all good! I guess he has a stressful week, which to be honest I've taken my stress out on him also. We ate dinner last night and he pulled me in his arms, kissed me and said he loved me. Maybe he's nervous about you know what!? I figure I'd leave it be and move on. 2 days left and we so can do this!

Northern: Congrats on 50 lbs that huge!

jiggle: congrats on the size 14! things happen for a reason and you'll look hot in it!

Lori: love the pic and glad things are going well.

Fruitlady: we are all in this together! We fall down but lets pick ourselves back up and work through this! You didn't gain all your weight before over night, so the same for losing it. One day at a time, let do this!

To everyone else I wish you the best day! It's so beautiful out and I just got off of work so I have the rest of the day to study and tomorrow the bf and I are planting a garden!

Lori--thanks for the advice on walking...I really need to start that again...there's a TM at work and there's NO reason I can't get on it before I leave at night! i just keep making excuses! part of it is that I told myself I was gonna concentrate on 30DS for the month of may...well only 4 more WO's left, so I'm gonna start adding some cardio, including the WATP video I just got off EBay for $5...it's the Walk Strong Weight Loss Series video...gonna try it today bc all the lunges & jump moves on Level 3 of 30DS have my knees a little sore...

CONGRATS NORTHERN & CORINNE!!! Have fun w/the girls Northern and Corinne, Don't work too hard!! I hate long days like that!!!

Baben--Congrats on the 4lbs!! GOOD LUCK resisting the bad stuff!!

Jdon--glad to hear BF is turning his attutude around...I'm sure he's super nervous...even tho he knows your answer, he's probably still worried about exactly HOW to do it/WHAT to say to make it perfect!!! GOOD JOB getting back on track!! Have fun planting!!

AS FOR ME, my Mexican indulgence on Thursday didn't give me too much trouble in the water wt dept...I was up to 170.6 yesterday, but back down to 169.8 today...and I'm already on my 2nd bottle of water today so maybe tomorrow and then for our final WI on Monday, I'll be at a new low!! I know it won't by my 167 goal, but I'm gonna take what I can get!!! DH & I are grilling out tonight (he works tomorrow & we both work on Monday)...he's having steak while I have chicken...but then we're gonna try doin some veggies on skewers...we've never done this but it sounds good! I got red peppers, yellow squash, zuchinni, red onion, and cherry tomatoes...might do half the veggies marinated in some FF italian dressing..not sure yet tho! I hope it's good!

HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!!! Be safe & GOOD LUCK eating OP!!!! WE GOT THIS!!! Let's kick butt these last 3 days!! THEN we're off for our July 4th challenge!! YAY!!

Thanks everyone, it just feels like it's hopeless sometimes. Just like so many other things that are going on in my life right now. I decided today that nothing is going to sabotage me. I'm sticking with it, did good today. I had 1040 cal. I didn't even want dinner, wasn't hungry. I'll be starving later I bet.

Good morning all.

Didn't think I'd be able to post- but I snuck my lap top into work today, haha.

Boy am I tired this morning. Not sure why. I'm having my second cup of coffee (I usually impose a strict 1 cup limit on myself) and am just waiting for some energy to kick in.

Yesterdays 11 hour day turned into a 12 hour day and I think today will end up being 15 hours. I love when people call in!

Fruitlady- Keep your head up high, hon! You'll get there- you've been doing great!

KDM- Thanks! And the grilling sounds great- I love grilled veggies. And congrats on the loss!!

Jdonato- Have fun gardening! Hopefully it'll help relieve some stress. What are you planting? As for tips- start small! Haha, there's a lot of maintenance involved to keep everything healthy- but it's fun, a great stress reliever, and you get to be quite proud of what you can produce!

Baben- Congrats! That's fantastic. And thanks!

Tomorrow is the day!! Woo-hoo! Then we get to gear up for the fourth! Hmm, I need to think of a goal!
