Wow... I'm happy to see lots of good news this week .

Great attitude, CDiem -- I hope the scale gives you a pat on the back soon! Congrats, Shumeany, that is awesome progress! Dgrammy, Rain, and SW -- great losses! FB and Jammy -- happy to see you're both unstuck... me too!

I'm finally laying claim to 139 today! I know it's not a fluke, because I saw it a few times this past week before my official weigh-in. Just in time, because it's my birthday later this week and I was really hoping to reach this goal before then.

I know it's just a mind game, but it feels different to be "in the 130's" -- go figure! I do intend to lower my goal weight again, but I'm going to give myself at least a week before I do.

I am down another .8 pounds!!! I wish it was a bit more, but this week was also the start of TOM, so hopefully next week will take that into account. I am so close to my Halloween challenge goal and there's still two more weeks!! I am really excited to hopefully meet this goal.

I have already been to the gym and did an hour on the elliptical and I'm hoping to do some resistance band work later on this afternoon. I've been kind of slacking on the weights lately, so I need to get that going again.

Everyone seems like they're doing great and having good weeks. Hopefully the rest of the challenge can go smoothly for everyone

dgramie, congrats on reaching 75 lbs lost! That definitely deserves the coveted Flamey Award:

I got a new low on the scale today: 186.2! I'll take every little bit I can get, and celebrate it! I'm still struggling with my schedule as far as workouts go, but I'm working on it today, so I'm hoping to have a better plan (one I can actually stick to) this coming week.

Chele, WTG on another .8 gone for good! I bet you'll see a good number next week.

Yoyoma, woohoo on the 130s!

Congrats to everyone's successes this past week!!

Weighed myself today and I am at 164 (but I am still feeling GREAT )... hopefully it is just TOM or the bad eating I had on Friday evening... if I get totally back OP today, I should see a couple of pounds disappear before the end of the week. I am still hopeful that I can reach my Halloween Challenge of 159...

Have a good week!!

I am joining this thread late. There is only a week and a half left and my goal is to lose a few pounds. I am 256 pounds and would like to be a little bit less.

Hello fellow challengers. I stepped on the scales this morning expecting a gain but I lost another 1.5 pounds so that's 5.5/9.

Everyone is doing great

Erie, welcome! It's never too late...plus, we're challenge junkies, so we'll have another one after this.

Didja, it's probably TOM. Mine did the same, but showed a loss after.

I wanted to report that I did my running this morning, as part of my new, improved, kick-my-own-self-in-the-butt workout plan. The scale was good to me this morning: 185.8! Almost there!

ETA: Isabella, you posted while I was typing. Congrats on the pound and a half!

Thanks, Didja. I've really been struggling with getting exercise back into my routine, since we started up homeschooling (again) in Sept. The new plan is for me to get up, load dogs in the van, and get myself to the Y first thing in the morning...workout, then run dogs before coming home. Hopefully my ds won't take advantage by sleeping in, but if he does, I'm pretty sure that me waking him at 5:45 am before I leave would cure him of that, lol.

Okay, I'm off to crack the parental whip, then to Costco to pick up dog food. Apparently, the dogs expect to be fed EVERY day...if I'd known that, I woulda got a hamster.

Everybody must be busy today...

Just reporting in that I did my workout this morning at the Y: UB workout then 30 mins elliptical. Afterward, I found a much shorter route to get to the bike trail, so I ran my dog Gracie with the scooter. It was beautiful out there today.

We had a couple meetings after school today, so I didn't make it to the gym. However, I ended up trying Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, level 1 and rode the exercise bike downstairs for 20 minutes. I had originally planned on taking a nice long walk, but, of course, it started raining right when I left school to go home! haha Isn't that always the way?

I am getting really stressed out and can't wait for the weekend to be here

Here I am! I have discovered our universities brand new state-of-the-art 53 million dollar gym. It is awesome and I have fallen in love with the place! (This from the woman who hates gyms).

The result...I've finally made my challenge and weighed in this morning at 169. Woo hoo! I can't believe I am under 170. I have to go change my siggy now. I held off first because I was flucating so much, than because I was too busy. But now I'm just plain happy.

Yay on you cdiem, falling in love with a gym! I love the gym lately. Yours sounds crazy fancy, all that money invested.

You can't make a girl losing weight happy. For a month I grumbled because I was stuck, now it's falling off rapidly and I'm worried! GAWD! Anyhow, if it keeps up for long I'll go visit the doctor, in the meantime I'll like it.

I'm under 175 for the first time in years. I remember when I was dating my husband, being 175 and peeved I was up 10 pounds. If only I would have taken care of it then!

How unreal, closer to the 160's than ever. The 160's were my original vague goal when starting out. It's so strange and wonderful! I doubt the 160's will be my stopping point this time as I don't think 10 pounds will make a dramatic difference in my appearance. I'll just see where I get.

OHOHOHOH! I've gone from being SUPER MORBIDLY OBESE to NORMAL today. Normal! Hells yeah! It's funny, I don't feel normal! Don't feel super morbidly obese either!

Congrats to you too, CDiem -- making your goal !

And congrats to everyone making progress.

Welcome, Erie... jump on in!
