I said that I didn't have a specific goal in mind for this challenge. Actually, i did but didn't want to tell anyone in fear that I might jinx myself. I have a habit of setting weightloss goals and not achieving them. I have actually lost a couple pounds. I am going for a total weightloss of 4 pounds (to be 250 pounds) from the date of my initial post in this challenge to 10/31. I've already lost 2 pounds so far.

I am inspired by all your good work, chickies. I was just reading the last couple of pages and everyone is doing so well. And congratulations on the 50 pound loss Cheryl. I'm right behind you. In about a month I'm hoping to have lost that much. I won't have met my goal by Friday but I'm only a couple of pounds away so I'm happy with that. A Christmas challenge sounds good to me. All you American gals have to contend with Thanksgiving before Christmas so that will certainly be an eating challenge for you. No more celebrations for me until Christmas so I hope it will be clear sailing from now til then.

I will post my offical weight on sat but it looks like i may end up within 5lbs of my goal. I will be very pleased with that. I have to work a fall festival on halloween so by knowing i have my weigh in on sat, it should keep my hand out of the candy baskets and away from all the food we will be serving!!!

Yay! Congratulations everyone, whether you made goal or not - you're here, you're doing it! Happy Halloween too.
My weight hasn't changed much this week, but I'm still pleased I exceeded my goal by 7 pounds. Yahoo! That's the best treat I could have today.

Congratulations, everyone! Whether you made it all the way or almost there, you have all done so well and I am inspired by all of you!
I tried on my challenge clothing items. The shirts fit beautifully. The pants... Not so much. I can get them on, which is an accomplishment in itself, but they are too tight for public wear. I should be wearing them soon. So, I made it halfway. Overall, I am pretty pleased with myself and what I managed to make happen.
A Christmas challenge sounds like a great idea. I would definitely be in on it.

Good Job everybody!!! We did good...so when does the Christmas challenge start? I am almost to the original goal I set, but, as seems to happen, now that I am almost there, I figure why not a few more pounds? So I am resetting my goal to 138. I intend to do this last 6 VERY slowly. Last time I got into my 130s and kept it off for a number of years (pre-babies) my skin got really, really bad for about a year before it FINALLY cleared up. This time, I am being much more careful about making sure my nutrition is good and I am not working out so hard that my lean muscle mass equals about that of a teenage boy...with teenage acne. I am definitely getting nice muscle definition--just not going crazy about it, and, cross my fingers, my skin is still great.

Just checking in to let you all know that I lost 7 pounds during this challenge-2 short of my goal but seven pounds is great. I'm going to keep the challenge up in my signature until I get the full nine pounds gone. Looking forward to the Christmas challenge. Congratulations to everyone who's been successful and for those who are struggling don't give up.

I also didnt get even close to my exercise goal..was sick alot this month. But I am still happy i joined the challenge and cant wait to join the next one!!

Dgrami, 76 pounds is amazing. I bow to your weight loss. It took me 10 months to lose 45 pounds. I bow again.
