I can't wait to find out what team I am on! Yay!

I signed up for Aqua Circuit Challenge and Zumba at the Y (starting the week of the 7th) and bought the 2 new Jillian videos yesterday. I have my workout schedule all set through the end of June, so I am ready to start seeing some results! Back to calorie counting strict today, drinking my water, and I'm going to try out the No More Trouble Zones video. Excited!

Shan - you look absolutely wonderful and happy in your pics! It's great to see that. I also posted that you look like you're melting, which is true! You'll be at your goal in no time.

Bigmid - Very happy you're our team leader! You'll be excellent - woohoo! Thanks for the vote of confidence. I went out and worked out AND controlled my (bad) snacking impulses. Had a loss today so am feeling great!

-----
Woohoo - I'm down to 152.7! Hoping to get even lower before the challenge begins!

So far I'm off to a good start - eating OP for two days and have done 2 days of the 30 day shred. Also lots of packing/box moving, and I walked to work this morning (which is about a mile each way). Hopefully all this is working towards a good loss for whichever team I end up on Not looking at the scale til a while from now though, I get frustrated seeing .2 ups and downs. We'll see what happens. Can't wait for the challenge to officially start!

purplefirefly - sounds like a great plan.
sunni - congrats on the loss!

I was looking for that info. Thank you Jacky for stepping up and being our team leader. I assume we're going to be on the same teams as before..?? If not that's okay too. I just love being here and doing this with everyone.
Been doing good getting in my workouts, now I'm tweaking the way I eat. Have been doing low carb, and am adding some back in to see if it'll get the wieght moving off again. Picked up Jorge Cruise's new book at the library, the belly fat cure, seems like it'll help me pick better foods. I think I'm stalling cause I do have an occasionally cocktail and I do drink Coke Zero's, daily again so that might be the culprits, I have no more than 2 though.
Well gotta run some errands. Have a happy hump day ladies!!!

Hello I just finished a workout I am finally up to 30min on the elliptical...WooHoo! It's thanks to the c25k as I started doing it on the elliptical and now I can even do 30 while watching TV.

dayoneagain - did you go for that walk and did it help calm you. I know it can be tough having certain expectations of people and then they let you down. I hope that today was a much better day for you.

Soon2BeFitChick - that is one busy life you lead.....do you ever have any "me time"

Mercy03 - Thank you so much and I hope that I can fill Angelas shoes as leader. I am also will to try any exercise we can think of so you have an exercise buddy in me too.

Purplefirefly - WOW that is quite the exercise program you have for yourself. The aqua circut class sounds like a lot of fun. Keep me posted on your videos I am always looking for a new one that is easy to follow.

Sunnigummi - Aw thanks....I am looking forward to the challage and hope I can keep up with all of you. Congratulations on your loss that's great.

abluvion - WTG on your eating and exercise that's awesome keep it up. I know how you feel about the scale the little ups and downs can get frustrating especially when you are working so hard. I find once a week is good for me.

Catsgetnhealthy - I hope I do okay as leader I will do my best. Good job on the workouts and trying to tweek the eating. I think our bodies do get used to the same things so switching it up a bit is good.

me4life - It can be very hard trying to find something that works for us so I hope you find something that is easy for you to follow and doesn't really feel like you are on a diet but on a lifestyle change. I follow the WW program myself but I do it on my own I don't actually go to the meetings. Good luck with the quest.

Shan84 - I just want to take a minute and say a big THANK YOU for doing all the planning and organizing with the teams.

As I just kind of took over Shannon has been doing all the work of putting together the teams and spreadsheets and will do the work at the begining of the challange and I just wanted to make sure the she knows just how much her hard work is appreciated.

Have a great night everyone.

Hi, I'm just stopping in to say hi. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm good!

I'm swamped as usual. 3 graduates this year in the family, just tons going on. The 3 yr old we have may go with his sister today. Waiting for court. Still looks hopeful we will get to keep the baby but you never know. Also just got results back that my oldest son is dyslexic, poor sweetie. So want to read up as much as I can on ways to work with him this summer. They said its hard for him because the small parts of words that you sound out the word with do not connect as they should. I feel so bad for him. It's hurting his self esteem. Thank God he is in sports and doing well. At least he does well there. And is pretty good in his Karate class too. Bless his heart. He tries so hard. I watch him struggle and it breaks my heart.

I'm doing better drinking water lately, because it's hot! LOL. I also am eating lots of fruits and veggies because they are my fave.

Ok, gotta run, hugs!!!
Selina

Well, I tried the No More Trouble Zones tonight and it is easy to follow but OMG some of the moves totally killed me. I couldn't finish it all and I am very, very sore now.

I also have Turbo Jam and just those. They are super easy to follow and the time just flies by because they are so fun!

Do you food journal? I find that helps me alot. I'm eating lower carb, and since I've started that I feel so much better, more energy, especially in the afternoons.

to be honest with working so much and getting up at 3 a.m i haven't done much of anything besides just trying to eat healthier and trying to get some walks in. i am thinking i will be journaling what i eat this week and just counting the calories. cause i have a big family in my house right now and want to basically eat what they eat (maybe in smaller amounts)
