Hello everyone! I wanted to post quickly so I can come back later and read what everyone has said so far! I'm counting down the days until the challenge starts! So I guess I'll introduce myself....drawing a blank at the moment! I've lost 60 ish pounds since the start of my journey. I took a real interest in weight loss when I moved home from Europe the first time, I ended up losing 40 lbs in about 6 months or so and maintained that weight loss for about a year. I moved back to Europe and continued on maintaining the weight loss. At Christmas I had a Italian family I know come over and they recognized that I had lost weight and gave me the encouragement that I needed to kick my own butt into gear. Since January I've lost 20 more pounds. I lose weight slowly, and it gets discouraging, but I'm fighting my way to goal one pound at a time! I can't wait to get to meet everyone along the way and here is to a successful BL challenge!

Hey big mid- how's it looking outside your window now LOL. I live in the NWpart of Calgary, how about yourself?
For those not here in AB it's been raining/snowing all day.
We need the moisture but I'd prefer not to see the white stuff for a while

Have had a good OP day thus far, just need to figure out dinner. I'm making the kids nachos. All in all have been doing well eating wise this week. Could use more exercise but with dh away for work this week, I'm lucky I get the dog walked once a day.
Have a great evening ladies.

Thanks Shan and purplefirefly! I'm so excited and relieved. We needed a second income to survive (moving to Boston). I bet we're still just floating above poverty level. Living there is ridiculous! Although I will get in awesome shape with all the walking I'll be doing. Hehe. I am SO going to miss my NC lifestyle where I just sat at home (literally, I have an aversion to movement now) and took a break to go outside and exercise. Oh well, all good things must come to an end...

Still didn't work out today. I think I'll just put off the workouts until Sat, when I am done with all this writing. I miss my workouts though and I NEVER thought I'd say that 6 months ago. Sigh. Maybe I can sneak in some gym time tomorrow...

Anyway, lovely seeing all you ladies on here. Hope to get to know you guys better!

I'm here! Sorta I did really well the first 8 or so weeks of the challenge, then I lost my drive and couldn't get it back. I'm working out some body image issues that I'm hoping to have figured out before the summer challenge starts.

For those who don't know me. My name is Angela and I live in BC Canada. I'm a 28 year old stay at home mom of two wonderful boys and have been married to my husband for almost 8 years! I have an awesome family, awesome life, and I try to stay positive even when life throws me for a loop!

Going to go wrap myself in blankets and watch a movie. Kids had soccer tonight and we froze our bums off.

Man, I can't believe it's still cold in some places! It's cool here, about 60F but very sunny. I love my spring and summertimes so I would NOT be happy about it snowing...

Ok, dropped to 151.9 today. Really excited!! Are we weighing weekly for the Bridging the Gap challenge or just plugging along until the summer one starts?

I'm almost done with all the writing I had to do this week. Can't wait for it to be Saturday already!!

Have a good day ladies! I'll check back in later today or tomorrow.

Wow I've missed a lot not sure if I can totally catch up right now. Sorry if I miss most of you

Mercy03 - Hey and good job on getting back to your workouts that 2lbs will fly off quick

Sunnigummi - Congratulations on the new job you must be so excited. I've always wanted to go and see Boston it looks like a very pretty city. I hope you like living there. I hope Saturday comes soon too, I need a break.

retiredone - sorry you won't be joining us the next challange. Pop in once in a while just to let us know how you are doing.

garderjoy - welcome to the challenges they are a great motivator you'll be in onderland in no time

Soon2BFitChick - Congrats to both you kids for winning their games that's awesome. I too need to stay out of the 190's I am creeping back up to 190 from my 189 and I hope by the end of the summer challange to be in the low 170's (fingers crossed for both of us)

Idealmuse - glad you are coming back again. I would be so happy if I were in a 10/12 can't wait to get there.

BeautyandtheBeast - Welcome to the challange they are great with a fabulous group of people who are always there for you.

shan84 - always remember how far you have already come you are doing so well and that was just one night. We are always here for each other no matter what color team we are all on

Purplefirefly - It's kind of nice to have that feeling of starting over I hope this is a positive thing for you. Wow that's real dedication going to the Y 5 times a week. It's nice that you have someone to go with as well that way you can motivate each other.

xMeaganx - Congratulations on the 60lb loss so far that's fantastic. Welcome to the challange

CanadaMel - apparently I opened my big mouth to soon. I too live in the NW and shortly after I posted it started to snow (blizzard) and hasn't stopped yet. I should know better. The wind also knocked down a huge tree in the backyard. Luckly it went into the fence and not into my bedroom window. I hope it leaves as quick as it came. Good luck with getting in the exercise.

babygrant - I hope you find your motivation you have done well so keep it up.

Bigmid- yikes on the tree! Just dealing with huge drifts in the driveway... I wonder how many calories are burned from shovelling this heavy stuff?

Sunnigummi- Yay on the weigh in!!

Babygrant- my kids also play soccer and the fields are always windswept. Soccer in April in Canada is insane

Shan- I agree with Bigmid- it happens to all of us, you get it out of your system and them tomorrow is a new day. Hope your Friday is getting off to a good start!

Megan- good job and being re-motivated. it's the best feeling when our family & friends notice a difference.

Hi ladies. Friday is starting off well for me here in SK. I'm working today but only til 3pm. Then heading to town to the bank to transfer money home and then hitting the hospital to have my knee looked at. Hoping to hit the gym for a few hours if the doctor gives me the ok. Then date night with the bf. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm seeing a loss for this week...not a huge one, but a loss is a loss all things considered!

Mel- Yeah we are back together, trying to work things out. So far so good. I don't want to go to the hospital. But they don't have doctor's offices in Korea. All the doctors are in hospitals. So, on Wednesday after my session with my personal trainer she told me I had to see a doctor and get a note from him that my knee is ok to train, or she won't train me until I'm ok. This week my knee has really been bothering me. I mean, I can still walk but its uncomfortable. Also it makes a popping/crackling sound everytime I bend it. So, I guess its better to get it checked out just to be on the safe side.

Went to the hospital to have my knee checked out. Not a serious problem...yet. They said the cartlidge and bone are shifting against each other and my tendons are stretching too fast and too hard and causing swelling. Doctor ordered no exercise for 2 weeks. Ugh! Upper body workouts here I come!!
