We were best friends when she did this and she did it a couple of times to different guys that I was dating. Now we recently connected again (after all these years) on myspace. We've talked a few times through email. She's been calling me but I haven't answered the phone. I just keep thinking about what she did back then. She invited me to her daughters b day party tomorrow and I have to go because I told her I would. I feel really wierd about this and I might back out. What would you guys do in this situation? One of my other friends who also hung out with her back then told me that some people change but I don't know. She really hurt me back then. I'm confused

That kind of betrayal is so hard. But, if it's been years, you might check it out and see how it feels when you're face to face. Course I'm one to say go with your gut instinct and if it's telling you no this is something not worth pursuing, follow that. Wow I was a big help, huh. lol for you on whatever you decide.

Sorry this is so long, trying to catch up a bit!!

Lonnie – Sorry, I’m a few days late on the topic – the friend you are having mixed emotions about. I just reconnected with my best friend from kindergarten. We had lost touch about 10 years ago because I was uncomfortable with her lifestyle. I recently found her again on a website set up by our school and she is such a different person – I truly feel I missed out on having my best friend for the past few years. We have been talking at least once a week and e-mailing constantly. You may find you and your old friend just have nothing in common any more regardless of what happened in the past or you may find someone you can really connect with. If you go to the party and find you enjoy her company, I personally would get together with her just the two of you and discuss what happened in the past and work it out – she may not realize it upset you (not sure
how she could do that!!) or she may have wanted to apologize and never had the opportunity.

Hope you had a nice time at the carnival. You know, I think you made me realize why I used to move so much!! I couldn’t stand the little clicks/groups of people where I grew up. You were expected to be someone with certain characteristics – every time you move you get to be whoever you want – I always loved starting over. I’m the most uncomfortable around people who knew me when I was thin. Glad you started enjoying the beach again – our weight shouldn’t control the things we enjoy.

Danielle – It sucks to know you are smarter and a harder worker than everyone else but they are getting paid more. I worry about that this fall – I’ve been home with the kids for nine years, running my own business but this fall when the little guy goes to school, I’m going back to work and will be making crap for money and be low man for the first time in years – that stinks at 37 years old. I promise not to beat anyone up over it if you will too!!

Roni – Sorry you had to deal with brats at the pool – unfortunately my son was the brat at camping this weekend. I’m not sure what his problem was, think he was too tired (he’s five) but he had a couple of problems with his attitude that I pulled him off the playground one day and out of the water at the beach the other. He took a three hour nap today and his attitude seemed to cure itself – luckily because I was ready to sell him at our garage sale!! Thanks for posting the treadmill work out – I needed something different to work on.

Counting down – You have done amazing – thanks for the inspiration. Make sure you still come and chat! Just curious, I’m sure you probably posted this somewhere, but what plan did you use??

Joyce – Welcome back from vacation. I don’t think too many people can stick to their plans during vacation – just hop back on track!!

Armywife – Glad you and hubby are working it out. It is so uncomfortable to not get along, especially with kids. I spent about four years on the verge of divorce with mine until I hit the end of my rope last fall – as soon as he found out I was serious about leaving, things have completely turned around.

Cathy – You are awesome! Congrats on the great loss this week!

Hi to everyone else I missed – hope you have a great week.

Default Gret Monday Morning!

I am thrilled! This past week, I buckled down and kept to my WW points and exercised (just a little bit each day) and lost three pounds! I am going to try to stay on the same path for this week. Momentum! Here I come!

Hi all,
just a quick check-in this week. I'm packing for my trip to Mali (western Africa) ... plane leaves in 11 hours and I still don't know what to wear

Got laundry going -- If I put those piles in front of me maybe something will jump out

Have to go buy a new laptop bag because mine is too big for an Air France carry-on. This is a busy busy day

Hi Ladies! I hope everyone has a great Monday morning!!

This month has been/is being a bit crazy. It seems like we have something going on every single day. We just finished our revival at church, and an old friend of Dad's stayed with us over the weekend, and conducted our Sunday service. Tomorrow my Grandma is coming to stay with us for 3-4 days while Mom & Dad go to Nashville for a couple of days. Then, immediately after they get back, the entire family (except for me) is leaving for Florida to visit my sister Angie, whose in Orlando on a college mission trip. I'm a little disappointed that I can't go (work stinks, you know) but it will be nice to wind down a bit. Then when they get back, Dad's friend will be back to do another service, Angie will be coming home, and her and I will be leaving for the HSA reunion. So, if it seems like I've been ignoring you guys, please forgive me. After this month is over, I should be able to keep up better.

Keep up the good work!!

Good Morning everyone!! Running behind this morning. I had to get a package ready to send to dh and paint my toenails and didnt alot much time to do it in LOL!! Just wanted to make sure you all have a wonderful day!

QOTD:

What is a beauty product you have in your household that is a MUST have? Cant live without it...or at least wouldnt want to.

Mine is moisturizer for my face. My skin is so dry I think I'd go batty if I couldnt put something on my face to relieve it every morning.

just finished my 2 mile express WATP...i am tired (even before starting) since i didn't get much sleep because ppl kept waking me up...but my alarm went off at 8am, and hubby's did too (he told me to make sure he got up to go running this morning)...well this morning i got into my workout clothes so i could be a good example and he said he wasnt getting up - that he couldnt run since he didnt get enough sleep yet, and that he'll just run on our neighbor's treadmill tonight after dinner....right lol well not my fault he didnt come home till almost 3am (he was at the other neighbor's house with everyone else watching a horror movie, which my 5 y/o got scared of and ran home at 115am - waking me up, again).

well, kids and hubby are still asleep, so gonna chill for a bit then have some b'fast and more water. and once everyone's up i'm gonna get my shower, don't wanna wake them up. it's peaceful right now lol
might take a nap while i wake for them to come downstairs lol

hey ladies- Happy Monday! A start to a great week!
I am gearing up to take the kids to a small lake 20 minutes away. Got up and grocery shopped first thing so we have food. Stocked up on celery and cucumbers for me so I don't snack on doritos all afteroon, lol. SHould be a perfect day to spend outdoors.
My weight is slowly coming back down and I'm going to make this week count and get under 220 again!!

I would have to go with concealer...I just feel naked without it. Lip gloss too. oops that's 2.

Anyway, have a great day!

Hair styling products. My hair is so damaged from all the years of dying it, straightening it, curling it, and all the gel I've used. If I don't put anything in it, it is so frizzy. I have split ends sticking up everywhere especially in the front. It's horrible! I use the Frizz ease serums and creams.

Catsgetnhealthy~ WOW! That's an incredible weight loss!!!!! Go You

shelby897~ Thanks! I didn't go to the party and I chose not to talk to her anymore. Yes, people do change but not when they do stuff like that. I don't need her coming into my life and messing things up. I trust my BF with my life but I don't trust her. Get this, she was seeing this guy who is married and she knew this, and they had a kid together. She's trash!

Toni~ Congrats on the 3lb loss!! That's fantastic

Jay~ WOW! Now that's what I call a vacation!!!! Don't forget to take lots of pictures!

MonteCristo~ You sure do have alot going on. I hope you can find time for you

Melissa~ You have a great day too

Fat Chick B Gone~ Sounds like your gonna have a blast! That stinks! You get in at 9:00pm and then you have work the next day??!!! I hope you don't have work early in the morning!

jelynn~ Have fun at the lake!!

A big HI to everyone else!

Beauty product? I can't think of one! I'm pretty minimalist on beauty products and, especially while "roughing" it, I get by with a bar of soap for all my bits and pieces and nothing else. Maybe sunscreen since I live in AZ!

I am sad it is Monday and I am glad it is Monday.
Sad because I had to work but glad because I did my Week 3 Day 1 of the Pushup Challenge and while it hurt (A LOT) I'm really excited because if you add the five sets of pushups together, I did 100 pushups today!
Of course, my back, shoulders and arms are going to be a misery by tonight but hey, I did it!

Everyone seems crazy busy this week! Hopefully everything goes well for all!

Mine would be my Oil of Olay for my face and also the Oil of Olay body lotion. I have to have both because my skin is VERY dry from being diabetic. Gotta have it.

I am back on tract today and feeling pretty good.

I did my exercises, flirted with muscle dude, showered, primped, and now I am going to buy groceries.

Workout was:
32 minute Interval treadmill workout.
20 minutes Strength training. Arms, chest, legs
100 crunches
20 push-ups (Week 1- Day of of Push-up challenge)
about 30 minutes dancing around my living room.

Had to post a 1.8 gain, sorry team, but it's really not so bad considering how very bad I have been, so I am cool with it.
