I wanna chat. I'm actually gonna not be working for once this week!

Karen, confronting the past can be so scary, I know from experience. You already know how great it will feel when you do it but only when you're absolutely sure you're ready for consequences, etc... Do you realize that when I was going thru Bob's book and I was ready to make all these changes, I told my dh that if he wasn't willing to either grow with me or support me 100% that I was ready for us to be over???? No kidding! That's how committed I was going to be to this whole process, wanting that TOTAL lifestyle change and that included getting rid of dead weight. Was THE hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I know you'll do it when you're ready my friend, hang in there and truly try to enjoy the ride!

Cathy, good to see ya!! I'll trade ya your 99 for my 108. What do ya say?

That flax recipe sounds very interesting. IMO flaxmeal can be very "slick" feeling. I've always made flax muffins which I absolutely adore. Warmed up with a lil butter or cream cheese = heaven. That was when I did low carbing hard core so haven't made those in a while. Good for the ole plumbing that's for sure!

Thanks everyone for such great advice . Man you guys are good . I'm probably gonna go and see for myself is she changed or not. We haven't seen each other since it happened so tomorrow will be very awkward. When I found out what she and my BF at the time did behind my back I confronted her and beat her up...LOL! I know that's not the way to do things and 2 wrongs don't make a right but I was really hurt! She did apologize but then a year later she did it again with a different guy I was seeing. I've forgiven her (I think) but I will NEVER EVER forget. We'll see what happens. Again, thanks for the advice ladies, I knew I could count on ya'll

Okay on another subject...PLEASE SMACK THE HECK OUTTA ME!!!!! I'm having such a hard time with food today!!!! Put it this way, if I eat anything else today then I'll go over my calories . I know it's my own fault but today is just a bad day and I think it's because I have this party crap on my mind. UGHHHHH!!!!!

I would love to be in on the chat with you ladies tonight !

Roni~ Awe! It doesn't sound like your a mess. From what I can tell on here your a great person. You've just been through alot. It happens to the best of us.If you feel you need extra help then I would go for it. Do whatever it takes to free yourself of all these feelings. You deserve to be happy

Danielle~ Sorry to hear about the work situation. That would burn my but! What are you gonna do?? I would definitely talk to the person who's in charge of raises. What their doing is not fair!

Everyone else~ I hope your enjoying your Friday

Oh man!

You want a way to ruin your Friday - you get to work and the INTERWEBZ are broken!

How am I supposed to read 3fatchicks?

How am I supposed to plurk?

How am I supposed to waste time and entertain myself when I should be doing real work?

Ah well. Things are back to normal and hopefully I read all of today's comments and suchlike when I get home from work. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Sorry to hear about all of the friendship issues some of you are having! I will keep you in my prayers. Relationships are hard, even when people don't betray you.

I am looking forward to the weekend - closets to clean and sewing to do. I did some gardening tonight (pics below).

Hope you all have a GREAT weekend! Stay strong - let's have a superb weigh-in this week

Well I did day 2 of adding flax seed to my yogurt/berries/granola this morning. I hardly notice it. And its day 2 of taking a vitamin in the morning too!! See I can make healthy choices! LOL!! I'm even down a tiny bit this morning.
Thanks Melissa! I can honestly say that my foot no longer hurts! I may try to go run on the treadmill tonight. I feel horrible that I haven't gotten to work out at all this week

Thanks Lonnie! BTW, it sounds like you got some really great advice! I agree with the others that you have to go with your gut feeling. Since she has apologized, I would probably forgive, but never forget. Considering she has done it a couple of times....eh...making it real hard to forgive, but I too agree that people can change...

Danielle ~ Sorry to hear you are having the issue at work. I would be fuming as well.

Roni ~ sorry to hear about your foot & back. Hope you are starting to feel better soon!

Hi to everyone else!!

Good Morning

I don't feel good . I want to go back to bed but I can't because the kiddies are up. I woke up with a splitting headache, a really stiff neck and my headache is so bad that it's making me naucious. I took this as a sign not to go to the party. If this isn't a sign then I don't know what is! I feel like a huge weight is lifted from my shoulders. Now if only I didn't feel like crap!

What's everyone's plans for the weekend?

Later on in the evening were gonna take the kids to the carnival (assuming I'll feel better by then). It should be fun! Although I do hate "town" carnivals because everyone from your past seems to be there...LOL! I'm not slim these days so it's kinda embarassing. Oh well!

I found a new hobby ! I love going to the beach in the evening hours and sitting there watching and listening to the water. We've been taking the kids these past couple of days. It's so relaxing. I used to go with my father all the time and I loved it! We would go to the beach and sleep there for the weekend (hes a fisherman and has a camper on his truck), it was fun. Over the years the beach has become off limits because of my weight. So I guess I forgot how much I enjoyed it. Next summer I'll wear shorts and be able to swim in the water As for right now, I'm happy going there in my capris and flip flops

Roni~ I know you have the party today. Good luck and try not to work so hard. You deserve a break to ya know!

shelby897~ I hope your having a great time camping!shelby897

Good Morning everyone!! I'm headed out to the farmers market. I've been inspired to try eggplant parmesan. So I found a Bobby Flay recipe for it and I'm gonna give it a whirl! Keep your fingers crossed for some huckleberries too!! I woke up this morning with a terrible leg cramp, I scared the dog with my crying out during it. Stupid thing is still sore.

Andi...so glad to hear the foot is better and you are getting back to the exercise. How'd your workout go?

Counting
...closets are on my list this weekend too..most especially my girls' closet!

Lonnie
...we missed you last night!! Here we thought you were gonna come chat with us! I know how you feel about going out and seeing people from the past. I was a skinny little cheerleader in highschool...now not so much! LOL! I hope you have fun anyway!

Okay, have a wonderful Saturday everyone!! Make sure to get out and do something fun!!

Hey Melissa!

I wanted to chat last night. I've been using the Laptop (takes up less room) and I don't have yahoo installed. I tried to install it last night thinking it would be easy but it was telling me that my user name was already in use. So then I tried to sign up for a new account and it didn't work. I'm gonna try it again in a little bit . I haven't used yahoo messanger in a few years so I'm thinking I forgot my user name. I gave Karen my user name for aim and msn I thought it was my yahoo one to, but I guess not. Sorry I missed ya's last night

Oh and I hate those leg cramps! Sometimes I get them in my calfs and holy cow they hurt!!!!

Good morning! Hopefully everyone's Saturday mornings are going well -
Sorry to hear about your headaches and cramps and I hope everyone is feeling better and/or can find something in their medicine cabinet to help.

I just got back from picking up my first basket of produce from the Co-Op I found on line. For $18.50:
5 red onions
8 baking potatoes
1 head of bibb lettuce (I think?)
1 bunch of cilantro
Lots of carrots
4 cucumbers
1 honeydew melon
4 tomatoes
4 mangos
6 bananas
7 nectarines
8 plums
4 pears
8 limes

Not bad I don't think
but now I have to figure out what to do with Mangos (besides just eating them plain) and so many red onions...does anyone grill them? I'd like to try it but I'm not sure how!

I finally got my yahoo messenger installed and running . You just tell me when and what time and I'll be there I'm such a spazz! LOL!

Kelly~ 18.50 for all of that??!! That's a great deal! I wish I could find a deal like that over here. As for the red onions I grill them plain on the BBQ and they come out great! I don't like Mango's so I can't help ya there.

I hope everyone is having a great day!
