Hey I like that interval training! I might try to incorporate it into my C25K training. Right now I just do smooth and easy and need to start adding some inclines.

Hi everyone, I'm finally back from vacation. I had a great time but was so bad. I managed to stay on plan for a few days then lost it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a gain this week. I'm really glad to be home now so I can get back to normal. I'm ready to start a new day and get right back on plan.

I hope everyone has done really well and had a great week.

Morning Lonnie!!!

I was thinking about Counting's pictures, I think its facinating to see how her posture and the way she holds herself changed as the pounds came off. Its like you can see the confidence come as the lbs left. SO cool!

Just a fly in before I go pull some humongous weeds in the garden. Thanks to everyone for your kind words. They have me tearing up! It has been an emotional weekend. I didn't think it would hit me as hard as it has, but - dang - <sniff, sniff>

Melissa - you are right, losing weight does help with the confidence and so many subtle changes come with the experience. And - I think all of the exercise - pilates and yoga in particular, have helped as well. I sit and stand a lot straighter these days. But - then again - the "girls" are so much smaller and not pulling me over either

Let's rock this week! 4 weeks to go - think of what we can do in 4 weeks!

Congratulations Counting! That is just a totally amazing story and your pictures are AWESOME! You have much to be proud of, look at how far you have come. What a great example that it CAN be done if you set your mind to it and get down to business. That is what I am working on now and I hope I have even half the success you do! Again, congrat's to you and I hope you'll be sticking around here as you begin the newest phase of your life.

Joyce, welcome back! Glad you had a good time!

i started to post last night,,,,but hubby walked in the house. so i closed the window. this is my first chance back online since things are getting better with us. actually got him to talk to me last night and we played some games.....been enjoying the makin' up anyway...lol!
My weigh in this morning was great! so happy....i'm over halfway to my goal!! only 8 more lbs to lose ......but happy to report 2.2 lbs lost for this week's weigh in . havent been working out much (just july 1st this month).....but have stayed busy cleaning house and running errands, etc so have been moving my body a lot to burn calories even though it wasnt actual exercise.....and keeping OP within calories most days has really helped too...
yippee!! we're gonna try to get back into working out tomorrow, start a fresh week!
congrats CountingDown!! you're awesome!

Just a super quick "Hi" -- we just got back from camping. I'm sun burned and tired from hiking. Hope everyone had a great weekend and I'll be back later to check in

doing a bit of catching up:
You scored 40% Carrie
You scored 30% Miranda
You scored 20% Charlotte
You scored 10% Samantha

My style back in HS('77-'81) concert t-shirts and jeans. And today I still listen to the same style of music and am a t-shirt and jeans gal.

Books I'm reading - I brought with me Blind Fall by Christopher Rice (Anne's son) and my dad has the second book of hers in the Jesus series, The road to Cana so I started that too.

Flax seed- I use the ground flax and put it in my yogurt.

I hope everyone is doing well. Still trying to catch up. I had a fantastic loss this week -7.6 lbs!! I've been moving moving moving and swimming swimming swimming! I've been doing planned workouts in the pool plus just fun swimming and doing my watp dvds I brough. Texas is hot as all get out!! So that's been helping with getting in my water. Eating is going great too.
Oh Ali is on the cover of Woman's World this week. Has an article and a menu sample of what she ate. It also said she worked up to almost 8hrs a day to lose the weight. wow!!
I'm going to go finish reading some more posts. My parents computer is moving slow so hopefully will respond to more tonight.

How are Anne Rice's Jesus series books? I am disappointed that she stopped with the Vampires & Witches.
