Hi. I'm such a bad team member about personals -- but I think of all of you often (especially when a cookie is calling my name!!!).

Did a lot of yard work with the family day -- and I still made my 30 minute trip on the treadmill -- all this exercise seems so odd to me!! Six months ago I couldn't be bothered to get my butt of the couch unless the house was on fire!!

Hope everyone is having a good week.

Karla- I hope you and your hubby patch things up soon. I'm glad you haven't seen the scale go up. Now, get to the gym!!! Honestly though, yard work and gardening is more work than you realize.

I'm having a bad day...not diet wise...I'm doing okay there. I am just really depressed and down today for some reason. I get like that sometimes. I have bad days where I rehash the past and get upset because of it. It will pass. I just hate feeling like this. I think I'll go workout. That should put my mind somewhere else and give me a positive focus.

I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.
Thanks!

And I have those too. Sometimes it's just hard to let things go but you're right. It will pass. And working out does help - I like to run on the treadmill when I'm feeling like that. It's one of the few times I enjoy exercise because it makes me focus outside of myself.

Sidenote: Anybody know what's up with the weekly weight loss totals for this week? The suspense is killing me!

I have days like that too. Not really rehashing the past just kind of blue for no real reason at all. Do something you enjoy. Sometimes that can really brighten my mood.

I am done for the night lol it is only 12:19 am. I have a few things left on the list then it is back to normal house work, normal yard work and exercise. I can't wait lol. Tomorrow it is cleaning all the hamster cages, cleaning the rabbit area cleaning all litter boxes and then making my son ( I will do most of the work I am sure lol ) clean his room and scrub his carpets and wash curtains. Generally takes us about 6 hours to clean his room. The kid is a pack rat lol. This, of course, includes washing down the walls and wood work and such. Wish me luck lol the back of my thighs are still sore lol.

Good Morning! I hate not having much time during the week to get caught up on here - damn work!!

What is everyone doing for the 4th? How are you going to stay away from the chips, potato salad, ice cream, etc.. and stay on plan? Why do we celebrate everything with food?

Shelby- good job getting in some treadmill time on top of the yard work. All that work is sure to pay off.

Kelly- I did end up working out and it really did help with my mood. I should have done it earlier in the day and I wouldn’t have had to feel llike that all day, but there just wasn’t time.

Rennie- sounds like you’re in for an exciting day tomorrow....yay...lol Yea, I really don’t envy you with all that cleaning tomorrow. You should come over and clean my house when you’re done with yours. Ya know, just so you can get more exercise....it’s all for you, just to help you

Oh my goodness- I am sore from this new dvd I’ve been doing. It’s only a 10 minute pilates sculpt. I didn’ t have a clue how much I’d feel it. I’ve done it for 2 days so far. It’s not a hard workout but man do you feel it. I love it. I’m actually more sore from that than 60 minutes of the bl dvd, maybe just because I’m used to that one now, but wow...lol.

For the 4th, I am going to be on vacation at my hubby’s family in Arkansas. They all know how hard I’ve been working and his mom has already bought the things Craig told her I’d need to stick to my diet, like turkey burger instead of hamburger. They are really good people and very supportive so I’m really lucky. Of course, I will plan in some treats too, as long as I can stay under my points. I will try my best not to slip up while I’m gone.

We are leaving tonight, so I don’t know how much I’ll be on for the next week and a half since I don’t know what kind of internet access I’ll have. I know his mom doesn’t have internet at all, so I don’t think I’ll have it at all really. I’m hoping I’ll find a way though.

I hope everyone stays OP and works their butts off, literally Have a great 4th everyone!

Good Morning

I'm so excited ! I ordered a really nice bird cage and a bunch of ladders and toys and it arrived in town this morning! That means it will be delivered today by fed ex. I can't wait!

I've been OP and doing good. I did go over my calories a tiny bit at dinner last night but I'm not sweating it. This morning when I woke up I felt bad about going over my calories last night so I NEEDED to take a peak at the scale . Well....The scale says great things so far and it's only Wednesday! I'm not going to jinx myself by telling you what it said. But I really do have to stop weighing in frequently during the week because the scale isn't always nice to me .

What's everyone's plans for the 4th? I really don't like being on the road because of the drunk drivers but this year I gave in because the kids want to go see the fireworks down at the beach. Were going to breakfast in the morning, then were going to see the new movie Walle ( I hope my 2 1/2 year old sits through it!) After that were just gonna hang out at the beach.

Tina~ HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!

vanity0326 & Kelly~ I know what you mean about the produce prices! It's 3.99 a lb for grapes. Everything went up. I just can't believe it. I'm scared to see what the economy is going to be like when my kids are much older

wkgirl~ I hate it when me and my BF have "bad" fights. It effects the whole household. I hope you guys make up soon

Kelly~ Your doing so good!!! CONGRATS on the inches you lost !

Shy Moment~ OH GOD....I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!! When it comes time for my Daughter to clean her room I'm the one who winds up cleaning it because she doesn't do it right! What a slob...LOL! It literally takes me all day to do it. UGHHHHHH I hate those days...LOL! But it looks perfect when it's done because I did it

jelynn~ How was the Walle movie?

joylove26~ Have a great vacation! Here's some to help you on your vacation

Diva~ I'm sure it was just water retention. Did you make it to the gym??

Melissa~ Is everything okay?? You've told me this NUMEROUS times and now I'm saying to you...If your having a hard time posting here does help

I'm thinking of everyone else

Good Morning my teammies!! Oh, for our Canadian teammies, Happy Canada Day, a day late, sorry!! Hope ya'll had a lovely day.
So for yesterday I got in 10,746 steps!! I had a great outdoor walk. Today I've done my watp walk strong, used 3# wts. And I go get my hair cut and highlighted at noon and figured I'll go down to the park afterwards and do my walk along the river. It's a great day for it, good breeze blowing so it should be nice and cool down by the river.

Kelly~ great measurement!!! You're doing fantastic!!!

Roni~ you're not invisible to us sweetie!!

Joy~ have a great time on vacation!!

Rennie~ you reminded me I need to do that with my boys rooms. Probably when we get back from Tx. And about pulling weeds, that's how I do it too and oh yeah I know that feeling in the legs!!! I use to squat but with my knee being like it has been, I just bend now.

Which all ya'll talking about doing the 30 day Shred has me wanting to do it again. I've not done it since I hurt my knee doing the jumping jacks. Maybe when I get back from Tx, I'll give it a go again.

Well I better get moving, gotta get a shower and all that. Have a great day and I'll check in later!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Joy - Good luck on doing the shred 30 days in a row! I don't know how anyone can do that! haha...hopefully one day i'll make it to 30 in a row... Or even just 10 in a row

Kelly - Great Job! You are an inspiration.

Tina - Happy Birthday!!

Heather - BIG CONGRATS!!!

I have been pretty good this week. Working out has been in my head all week long. I did the shred on Sunday, walked my neighborhood on Monday...but I had to take a break last night because we went to watch our Cards play the Mets (boo Mets!!). I did have chinese for dinner last night...and I may have eaten too much...but i'm just trying to put that behind me. Tonight i'm going to go to the gym before we head out of town tomorrow.

Keep up the good work Red Team...did you see the Black Teams results for last week?? WOW!!! They did awesome!! They didn't even have one gain!

Whew...I don't know about anyone else but I can't wait for this long weekend!

Hello Ladies!!

Our results gave me a bit of a shock. I mean, how bad could they be that Melissa wouldn't post them? But I'll put that behind me and press onward. My vacation gain is aggravating me, put hopefully (:crossesfingers I'll have lost it by the end of this week. I will not take another freebie, and I certainly don't want to post a gain. No lose so far this week, but I am believing that it is due to me starting my running back up, and retaining water in sore muscles, as I have been strictly On Plan since Saturday.

I fell off the wagon yesterday, but I am back on today. Just got home from the GYM all red faced & sweaty.

I don't know what my problem is but I have been feeling extra sensitive & emotional lately. It sucks.

Thanks Rennie & Cat.

Diva - Glad you're back on the wagon. Did you feel emotional because you fell off the wagon? Or did you fall off the wagon because you were emotional? When I fall, I tend to fall because I am already emotional and then I feel guilty and then I get more emotional, so I fall further and eat more...It's a nasty cycle.

My day hasn't been so bad so far. I did Day 3 of the pushup challenge - and did a total of 63 pushups spaced out over about 10 or 15 minutes. I'm very proud of those! I'm also very happy they fixed the AC here at work so I'm not sweaty myself to death everyday!

AND! Tomorrow is my last day before a three day weekend AND it will be a short day (only like 6 or 7 hours!). Holidays are AWESOME. I have no plans other than maybe getting up my new curtains and hitting the gym an extra day.

Quick post to say hi!! ...and Happy belated birthday Tina!! ...and happy belated Canada day to all of our Canadian teammates!

I am heading out of town tomorrow and driving up north to Minnesota for the holiday weekend. My son will be turning 9 years old on Saturday so we will also have a small birthday party for him. Yes this weekend will be full of food, but I am determined to not gain...I am 2 pounds away from hitting the 40 pounds lost mark. That's right...I'm now at my lowest since joining 3FC! I'm glad to see that number start to go down again.

I did make it to boot camp last night. I will never let 2 weeks go between sessions again! That was crazy, I was definitely not feeling the greatest afterwards!

I will probably be taking a vacation freebie again for this holiday as long as Melissa ok's it. So I may not be of much help for next weeks numbers unless I weigh in tomorrow and use that number. I will not be back to NE until Monday evening and I will not weigh in later in the afternoon...

I hope everyone has a great weekend and a safe 4th of July holiday!

Quick fly in -
Tina

Congrats Heather

I am hoping to get more painting done this weekend. If the weather holds. We have a quiet 4th planned. Walk to the farmer's market and then stop at a coffee shop on the way home. Home to painting and chores. Saturday - walk to the park for a picnic, music festival and fireworks - then walk home.

Hope you all have a wonderful POP weekend! Stay strong. New traditions are good for holidays - ones that don't involve high-fat, calorie-dense foods. I'm thinking grilled veggie kabobs are on my menu
