I did my new thing!
I tried my copy of the Jillian 30 day shred DVD
my problem with it - my legs are pooped but my arms are not
I just bought new hand weights at 5lbs each
apparently I need heavier ones
the only time I felt any tiredness in my arms what when I was doing the arm lifts straight out - and that's because my bad shoulder typically prevents me from doing that one.
Aside from that - great work out in 20 minutes

oh, and I also tried the initial pushup assessment for the 100 pushups training session - I got 15 pushups with good form - my husband got 21. He was sad that I was so close to him!

Wierdest for me... well I'm not one for the gimicks, but I do remember buying chromium chewing gum a few times in college. You can see how well that worked.

I have a question for you guys... has anyone noticed new stretch marks with weight loss? I noticed some today on the upper outside of my upper chest area. Kinda disturbing... Does losing weight make MORE? I mean I know the ones you have become more noticeable but these ones are most certainly new. What an odd place for them too. Maybe it's because I lost so much chest volume. I went from like a 44DD (or more) to about a 36D.

Blah.

Just a fly by. I am almost done with the house. I have one side of a sheet of paper from a steno book to do and then I am done lol. Today I cleaned out the attic crawl space. Have no idea why it is called a crawl space since it is 5 foot high and I can walk in it just fine lol. We don't use the area but it gets real dusty and full of spider and cob webs. I have never been on a diet. This is the first time in my life I had to worry about taking off weight so I have no story, sorry.

Good morning everyone.

Headache seems to be gone so far this morning. I didn't sleep very well though, so I'll prolly have a lazy, sleepy day.

Did y'all watch Wife Swap last night? This one wife got on my nerves. She said that the Belly Dancing that the other wife does wasn't anything more than glorified stripping! Grrrrrr That made me ill. IMO, Belly dancing is an art, and it's beautiful. She said she rather be cleaning up pig poo because she doesn't mind the smell and finds it relaxing....ahhhhh alrighty then.....To each their own I suppose.

Mel, I'm worried about ya gf, please check in.

Hi Everyone! So sorry that I have been MIA for so long. I have been having major computer issues lately. But I"m back! I hope everyone is doing well. I am still in this, and am hoping to be able to post much more and keep up with everyone. I feel so out of the loop.

I'm stepping up my exercise game by getting back into Taebo. I enjoyed that and did very well with it years ago, but hopefully, I will stick with it this time.

Keep going for it team!!

Good Morning

The Bike search didn't go so well. What the heck ever happened to a Mountain Bike being under 100.00??!! I mean really. Some of these bikes were 250.00! I don't mind spending a descent amount of money but not right now, not when I have to but three bikes, a baby seat, and a bike holder for the car. Were going to try somewhere else today.

SoulBliss~ Thanks for sharing that thought with us. When I find some time I'm going to do it.

ksk571~ LOL!!!!!!!!!! The Hulahoop chair is HILARIOUS!!! I saw it on the Ellen Degeneres show. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe

joylove26~ Your backs been bothering you for quite some time now. Have you considered seeing a doctor? Hope it feels better soon

CountingDown~ LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the funniest thing I've heard! People actually bought that??!!!

xGurlyGrlx~ CONGRATS to a second day OP!!!! You go girl!

chickichickibangbang~ The only thing I have to say about your wierdest diet is LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roni~ I love Wife Swap! I missed it last night

Rosaleezbaby~ Welcome Back

StacyLynn225~ ...You've officialy been KICKED IN THE BUTT!!! Just do the exercise and get it over with. You will feel so much better when it's over

Thinking about everyone else

Lonnie -- Do you want new bikes? I've been having a lot of luck with craig's list lately -- that's where we found our bike rack and our camper. The bike rack was $100, sells new for $250. And to me, bikes are something that doesn't typically wear out -- people just get lazy!!

Hope everyone is doing well -- I'm afraid to go look at our weigh in, it doesn't sound good....

Have a great day.

Good afternoon ladies! I made it back alive from Vegas...barely!LOL! I'm beat!!! I had a little too much party time I think?!? As I get older I don't think my body can handle it all as well Great time though and lots and lots of great memories! Kev and I needed that bad. It just is a jolt to the system to come home, and realize life goes on. It's like one minute I'm in the pool looking at blue skies and palm trees and the next I'm hearing my kids fighting!LOL! I missed them towards the end of the trip though, so I was excited to get home. I have to get back on schedule big time now though. I took a freebie last week since I couldn't weigh-in. I'm gonna have to see how Monday looks. I may need to take my last freebie. TOM is due any day now, so on top of vacation it probably won't be pretty! I just wanted to pop in and say hello though. I have tons of laundry to do. I'll be back later to catch up and chat Hope you all are having a great day~

Hi Ladies!

I'm off tomorrow morning at 5 am. My friend told me that last time she went to Central America many of the people with her got sick and ended up losing 10-20 lbs. I don't want to get sick, but it sure would be nice to come back a few lbs lighter! I'm sure my husband will be working me hard on climbing the ruins.

I won't be around for the next couple of weeks, but I wish you all great success while I'm gone. I'll miss checking in with you, but you'll be on my mind.

Stay focused on your goal and enjoy the journey!

Hey ladies...
Haven't had time to be online much this week, sorry I've been AWOL. I've been maintaining weight-wise, but not doing much for losing. Had a rough week (or 2?) with TOM, a couple birthdays, etc etc. Can't say I did my 10 day OP challenge, lol. I will try again though.
School is finally out today and tomorrow we being our new summer schedule. We don't have any vacations planned until August so I feel like I can get a good schedule/habits going for next week. Clean eating and lots of activity with the kids.
I will check in again after I catch up on reading. Hope everyone is doing great!

Isn't today Thirsty Thursday?
Hopefully I'm on the right challenge - I'm at 5 glasses so far, so hopefully I'll finish those up when I'm carpooling home and then when I'm working out.

Otherwise, it's been a pretty dull day - mostly working like a crazy person. This make me somewhat stressed which would typically lead to me eating more but I haven't had time for anything except my lunch and my quick snack I just finished. I managed to keep those healthy and hopefully I can do the same for dinner!

Hopefully everyone is doing well. We're on our second CLOUDY day in a row here in Arizona. It actually rained on me yesterday, I was shocked!

Hi -- thanks for the "thirsty thursday" reminder -- I have some catching up to do!!

I went to my friend's sister's wake today -- she was 39 (two years older than me) and passed away Sunday home alone with her three small children She had an unknown blood clot in her leg that went to her lungs and caused organ failure. What a shock! It really scared me -- she was at least 150 pounds overweight and incredibly sedentary, which apparently was a large contributing factor -- I feel horrible for her family and have taken this as a wake-up call -- the thought of my children losing their mom because I didn't take care of my health is a horrible feeling. Not saying thin people don't have heart attacks, etc. but I owe my kids a mom in the best shape, taking care of her health for their future.

Anyone else have a sort of epiphany(sp??) that lead them to start their weight loss journey??
