I feel better definitely. I don't think so much that I feel thinner. Especially with the weight lifting - it tends to make me feel bigger and stronger, but in a good way.

WOW!!! This is going to be a FUN challenge!!

Diva - Nice to see you drop in at a very timely moment!

For those of you who don't have time for personals . . . it's okay. Just pop in and say hello. Let us know how you're doing.

Sxulcmonkey: I LOVE eggplant lasagna. I use eggplant as the "noodles" and the filling is sauted mushrooms. Make my own marinara with no fat and then use just a lil mozzarella and some parmesan. A huge piece is only 2 points if you're doing WW.

You gals are COOOOOOOL!!!

I am like Smurf who has a hubby who likes to help with cardio. He has quit offering the protein as I told him I don't like salty items as they make me BLOAT!

Thanks for that info Anne I can't wait to dance into the house tonight and toss that one back at DH. Seriously - is there ANY guy who hasn't used that one

Eggplant question --- how do you know when you have a good one/ ripe one? In a bin of purple globes - which is the best for buying, which is getting old. Can it be not ripe enough? Guess not, it's a veggie, right? I told you I needed help with the basics. The recipes so far look really good - yum yum.

Thanks Manick - it's one of my favorite avatars

I think it's an excellent idea to ask Julz about posting threads and challenges. This was she can take it up with the other team leads so we don't have any problems

As to the question - do you feel thinner when working out and exercising. Yes I do. At least I feel virtuous. Ever felt really good about having an on plan day or two, getting on the scale in the morning and then seeing your weight go UP? arrrrrrrgghhhh. That's when I realized that those 0 WW point Progresso soups might not be doing me any favors.

Hey lovely ladies! What interesting conversations going on today!

My eating and exercise has been great the last couple of days. I am currently in Week 8 of the couch to 5K program, and last night ran for 28 minutes! I never would have thought that I could be a runner.

The major bummer is that I have a yeast infection and it is NOT fun. I went to the doctor today to confirm that is what it is, and I was right. It sucks! Hopefully I can get over it soon!

I'm enjoying getting to know you all!

LOL... all men must think alike because my dh believes the same thing.

Op plan today and even actually worked out at 6 this morning. Feeling really good today just really sore. We were digging all weekend to put in pavers, then i did a bunch of squats today... boy are my legs ahurtin'.

I make a roasted veggie sandwich with eggplant...just cut up some eggplant, mushrooms, onions, green squash, bell peppers and roast in oven on 350 for about 40 mins. I spray the cookie sheet with Pam and the spray veggies with pam, lil s & p, and italian seasoning. I then use some lo fat sourcream & spicy brown mustard for the spread...yummy

OK ladies I am feeling UGH down UGH today and I don't know why, but food is calling my name *I will NOT give in* but I need to hang out here for a bit.

I usually get like this with TOM, but that was a week and a half ago. I think it might have something to do with winter blues, it was so nice today and yesterday but I had a hard time enjoying the nice weather because I know another storm and cold is coming in again tonight. I have no motivation to take care of my house it is a mess which does not help my mood. I did get in a yoga workout this morning and am feeling the sore muscles, but weigh in is tomorrow and I don't have a great feeling about it (hindered by my mood I think). After the busy weekend work wise I have no motivation to do work that needs to be done. I think I am going to go to bed early tonight and see if that helps-I feel so drained.

Sorry for the vent-but sometimes I just have to and my dh is not home from work yet and maybe if I vent it out to you all I wont to him as much

Count me in for the veggie challenge as well!
